BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the owner of portals presenting the activities of Polish exporters. We offer advertising and promotion for Polish export companies.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire VENTI, and what were your goals?

Poland-Export portals existing for many years already had an outdated look and lacked many functionalities. We commissioned VENTI interactive agency to create a new layout, add responsiveness and new functionalities to the portals. This was supposed to increase traffic to the portals and attract new export companies to purchase advertising on the portals.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were looking for a company that would be able to implement our current project and older technologies i.e. Symfony 1.4, PHP 5.3, which the portals are based on, and understand our needs. High flexibility and attractive price of implementation of changes were important for us

Software House VENTI agreed with us on the solutions we were satisfied with, and then presented a layout design that met the latest trends and modern requirements regarding web browser standards and screen resolutions. In the next stage, they proceeded to code a new version of the portal based on Symfony 1.4 compatible technology, higher PHP 5.6 and MariaDB 10.5 database New versions of portals have been equipped with responsiveness, thanks to which portals can be displayed correctly also on mobile devices. Publishing the projects does not end the cooperation. New versions of portals are constantly updated, developed with new functionalities and supported in case of unexpected problems.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The main role in contact and coordination of the project was played by the project manager. In addition, the project involved the webdeveloper coding the service and graphic designer preparing the layout.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After the publication, the traffic increased 3 times, and the advertising requests of export companies doubled. User behavior parameters also improved.

We had daily contact with the project manager, who kept us informed about the progress. If there were delays, we were informed about them in advance, so we could prepare for them.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

With VENTI, we have received a customized solution that no one else would have created.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The project took a little longer to complete. However, thanks to that we received a solution of the highest quality.
