The scope of work for Velo Technologies Sdn Bhd covered the full setup of our disaster recovery solution. This included supplying and implementing the backup software, setting up the disaster recovery host site, and providing ongoing support. They started by deploying the backup solution across our production servers, configuring backup schedules, retention policies, and enabling monitoring alerts. They also provisioned an offsite DR host environment with sufficient resources and set up secure connectivity between our main site and the DR site. The team handled the replication setup and ran multiple tests to confirm system recovery could meet our RTO and RPO requirements. As part of the project, they conducted a full DR simulation test and documented the results. They also provided clear documentation, SOPs, and training for our IT team to manage the system internally. Post-implementation, they continued to support us and participated in scheduled DR drills to ensure readiness. Overall, they helped us establish a reliable and testable disaster recovery setup to strengthen our business continuity.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project showed good results and met our key expectations. All critical systems are now fully backed up with daily jobs running successfully and alerts in place for any issues. During the DR simulation test, we managed to recover systems within our target—RTO was below 2 hours, and RPO stayed within 15 minutes for the important servers. The failover to the DR site worked as planned, with minimal downtime. Our team also received clear documentation and training, so we’re now able to monitor backups and carry out recovery when needed. Overall, the setup is stable, and we are confident in our disaster recovery readiness.
