While the project itself has not yet commenced, and therefore no items have been delivered, their project management approach is evident in the detailed and client-focused proposal they created. They demonstrated a clear and immediate understanding of my vision, acknowledging my experience in the real estate sector and my goal of leveraging the current AI "wave".

We had a problem with an inflexible CMS on our website that a previous service provider had developed in-house. We could hardly adapt anything on the website and it was just too complicated. Valuedriven migrated the entire website to a Wordpress setup that anyone can use. 

There was no downtime at all. In future, every employee will be able to make changes to the website themselves. It will be a breeze to create new landing pages. In addition, various plugins can be used in Wordpress, e.g. for SEO. Everything was done within the agreed budget and time.

We made already positive experiences with Petros and his team when it came to the career website for ONYGo and Deichmann.

A new career website was set up and new content in the form of images, texts etc. was added. The site was built for several countries and translated into different languages. Petros supported in finding ideas for the construction and implemented everything. The website was set up in such a way that we can add and change content independently.

We worked directly with Petros. Later Takis was also involved and supported.

Hopefully it will help us reach more people and generate more applications. So far, however, this has not been tracked.

It was very effective. Petros was always available for us and always answered as quickly as possible. He tried to make everything possible and was always open to feedback. In addition, he always helped us with his professional opinion on our ideas. Rather, it was working with us that was difficult. He often had to wait for input from us and we frequently changed our requirements. Sorry again for that.

They understood our needs and were always very helpful and kind. It was impressive how quickly everything was implemented and how much time and effort went into our support.

Nothing but to relocate to Germany and stop by for a coffee.

I am the founder of dida, a software company from Berlin with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI). Customers include public institutions (e.g. German Weather Service, European Space Agency) and companies from the private sector (e.g. from S- and M-Dax). For what projects/services did your company hire VALUEDRIVEN, and what were your goals?

After having created a state-of-the-art pattern recognition backend, we needed a company to create a frontend application that would utilize the results of our machine learning API and display them in a user friendly and interactive way for the user.

The first challenge was that we needed to develop a solution that needed none or only minimal human involvement, in a user-friendly way that allowed for real-time customizations.

The second challenge was that the amount of data generated by the backend was very big and they needed to be displayed in the most efficient way so that they would not crash the frontend. Advanced mathematical manipulations needed to be performed in the frontend in order for 3D manipulation to be possible in real-time.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had heard of Valuedriven through a contact of ours and they had a very good experience working together, especially with their communication and technical skills. After going through their portfolio and an initial meeting with Petros we felt very confident that they could become a good partner for the project.

The scope was to build an easy-to-use frontend for the sales department of our end client, which, through some steps, would generate an interactive 3D model of the end product and, at the same time, allow the users to make personalized adjustments to it. The user interface would use the machine learning API that we had developed in order to make the necessary adjustments.

The first step was to make a discovery session with Valuedriven in order to identify both the business needs and the available APIs. They were very good in helping us and the end client explore the user personas of the application, the most important needs for this group of users and therefore decide on how the frontend should look like.

An initial proof of concept was developed and tested with end users, while feedback rounds were being conducted throughout the project, resulting in an MVP. After the first production version, more ideas were incorporated into the MVP, resulting in the version that is live today.

We worked with one frontend developer and a project manager from Valuedriven’s side. Both were very proactive when questions or potential problems arose and communication was great!

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The end client’s manual process was taking 40 minutes and with the introduction of our machine learning solution and the user-friendly frontend by Valuedriven, the process time was reduced to under 5 minutes! Given that over 20 people (and growing) were using it in the department, it resulted in huge time savings!

Valuedriven suggested that we have regular catchup calls which helped a lot because we were always informed of the progress and were able to discuss and clarify any points that needed clarification. We also have access to their Asana where we could see the breakdown of the tasks and their status.

I think what really made an impression is how the communication was always great, and they were proactive in proposing solutions that improved the product. We really felt we were in good hands!

We wanted to reach top digital talents and communicate with potential applicants, so we’re working with VALUEDRIVEN to implement and maintain our career website, which I oversee.

What was the scope of their involvement?

After the web design was completed by another agency, VALUEDRIVEN has offered us support and consultation regarding the technical functions we would need. They’ve built our website from scratch and used WordPress as our CMS, since it was the easiest solution for our needs. There, we could easily change pictures and text while maintaining a nice and modern interface.

We’ve also integrated a third-party application management system which could communicate with the website to display our current jobs and applications. Our company has started a corporation after the implementation, and VALUEDRIVEN is expected to maintain all of our websites, including the international ones.

Our partnership began around May 2019. After the website implementation, we’re still working with VALUEDRIVEN for maintenance, improvements, and further projects since we’re very satisfied with their service.

We do not have any statistics at the moment, since we implemented this project a few months after the COVID-19 pandemic came. We do, however, have feedback from a target group of applicants and they are very satisfied with the website.

How did VALUEDRIVEN perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve performed really well from a project management standpoint. VALUEDRIVEN has always been solution-oriented. The third-party application software was a big challenge for us, but they’ve done a great job of working through it while staying on track of the deadlines and milestones. Petros, in particular, has been doing a great job and has supported us very well. He would always offer a technical solution on time and within budget.

We used Asana and communicated via email, phone, and video calls depending on how many questions we need to discuss.

Last year we didn’t have free engineers for our internal projects so we asked our partner, Valuedriven to create a CRM for our Team. We had already worked with them, creating a web application for their client, and had a great experience working with the Valuedriven team.

We needed to create a custom CRM that would be fully tailored to our specific needs because we were tired of paying for the features we didn’t use. The platform features typical CRM functionality and a document storage solution. Other features included a calendar, scheduled reminders, image uploading, a message module, and many more specialized features. We started with determining the requirements, business analysis, creating roadmaps, and UI/UX Design. For our technology stack, we chose mainly WordPress, JavaScript, and a REST API.

We worked with two full-time developers in addition to their project manager, and QA tester.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Because we use it only for our internal needs, we won’t have quantitative metrics. However, we now have a live beta version and a functioning backend that we're currently testing, and we feel very positive about its capabilities.

Communication was one of the aspects the Valuedriven team really excelled at! It was very easy to communicate with Petros, who was their project manager, and we had scheduled daily standups. The team met every deadline and was very responsive.
