Kick off meeting with company pitch. We delivered the website designs. Then they built the website with only a few follow up calls. Very efficient process.

They understood the scope of our work immediately. They executed my wishes throughout the process with a high degree of professionalism and efficiency. Although I changed my mind about the sites designs during the process they adapted to these changes quickly without incurring additional costs.

Communication was mainly via phone and email. Timeline for completion was 2 months which was delivered. They have a very proactive management style. I was dealing with only one person throughout the process which made the overall experience very personal.

I'm the Head of Engineering at manual.co, a men's health, and wellness brand. Our goal is to empower men with all the information and choices they need to proactively own their well-being.

The company started as a small startup, with a team of fewer than 5 people. While our team did have members with technical expertise, the regulatory requirements of the industry and the business goals regarding our growth required us to build an exceedingly large and complex platform.

We hired this team to help develop our frontend interface and facilitate our launch within a few months of starting the project.

How did you select VALUEDRIVEN and what were the deciding factors?

Members of our team had worked with Valuedriver's founders in the past and we were confident in their ability to carry out the project. Once we reviewed the cost estimate and it was within our budget, we decided to proceed with their team.

We decided early on that we would build our backend as a headless web application. The frontend would be built as an independent frontend application using a widely used Javascript framework such as React, Angular, Vue, etc.

After discussing with Valuedriven's team, we decided to build the application using React. We provided the designs and Valuedriven's team developed the code of the application which included landing pages, product and category pages, and a specialized checkout process that included a medical history questionnaire and clinician approval process.

Valuedriven's founder was our main contact throughout the process. There were also 2 frontend developers and 1 QA tester working closely with the team and communicating via our slack channel.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The launch was completed on time and we started shipping orders on the same day. We received positive feedback from our customers and investors about the responsiveness and feel of the site, which was in part due to Valuedriven's coding approach.

We had daily stand-ups with all of Valuedriven's members working on the project, where they provided updates about the project's progress and any potential blockers or delays.

We coordinated using our Slack channel and all task management was handled through Asana. We also had a code review process that was facilitated through Github.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Valuedriven's team integrated well with ours and we were impressed by how well they could acclimate to requirements changes and remove potential blockers. We were impressed by the code quality of the deliverable.

 It was built in a robust way and followed best practices, which made it easy for our team to maintain to this day.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

When we first launched, we had to cut some non-essential features which were not yet ready, such as the user's account pages. These features were however quickly implemented after launch and we never had a complaint from our customers relating to that.

Our website was created 4 years ago so many sections were outdated and new sections needed to be developed. Value Driven optimised specific pages, re-coded some custom sections and created new sections that were missing. They also keep updating the content we send them.

We used to work with digital agencies but after running a couple of projects with them we decided to find a collaborator who focuses on web development. We interviewed 3 companies and decided to work with Value Driven based on the good recommendation we got from another client of theirs.

We have worked on a couple of projects that start off with an email and a teams call. The team has developed (WordPress front & back end) specific pages of our website. They have also set up Mailchimp campaigns and managed the content of our website.

The new sections created have the most traffic of the website and the pages they optimised increased in terms of the time users spend on them.

We kick off a project via a teams call after they have received the initial project description, then the rest of the stages are followed up by email. The team is always available over the phone if anything last minute comes up.

They are always very responsive and advise us on the best solution for the project taking into account our budget, time required and impact of the project.

So far the team has been great both in there work they delivered and in the communication throughout the project.

I searched online and leveraged my experience with other developers I had encountered in previous startups. Value Driven was a new agency for me to partner with and the communication, the level of understanding and in depth analysis of my needs, gained my attention and preference form other development agencies.

We have a clear understanding on the exact needs for the website, defined what is really needed for the development for a MVP version and the resources required to achieve the ambition set ahead.

We had communication by email on a weekly basis due to my limited availability. Value Driven was flexible to meet my connection timelines and connect via Zoom as I was based in Belgium and Valuedriven is based in Greece.

I was impressed with their level of honesty and openness to feedback. I started the project having a specific business frame in my mind and we ended up with a more improved and reasonable design of an end product.
