Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m one of the co-founders of Reviewmovers. We have a listing and a lead provider for moving companies doing transportation.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ux Omnitech?

We needed a website developed that would have a landing place for all of the companies that work with us and a place for users to review them. We wanted to grab lead information from these customers, and we needed a backend portal where customers could bid on leads that came in and drive traffic to their website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ux Omnitech came up with everything from scratch. They came to us with a proposal and a clickable UX design that covered everything from the mobile side to the web application. We requested a few changes during that process. 

They were highly focused on security because we have lots of personal information for our users. Once a user signs up with our company, they receive a backend login portal where they can manage their profile. This profile is a landing page that helps us drive traffic. Python was one of the technologies used in the project.

Users primarily work from the iOS and Android mobile app, which we send out to them after they start working with us. Users can log in, set their budgets, charge their cards, and manage the zones and radius from which they want to get leads. Customers looking for companies in those areas are driven to those pages, or our users can reach out to them. Ux Omnitech is offering maintenance and hosting services. They perform nightly backups for everything. 

What is the team composition?

We worked with a project manager, a QA person, a team leader, a developer, and a tester who ensured we liked how everything was working. 

How did you come to work with Ux Omnitech?

They were recommended to us by a few people we knew. We gave them our initial ideas, and they had a project manager come to our office to draw from what we were doing. They showed us a presentation of what they would design after that, and once we negotiated the price, we moved forward with them. 

How much have you invested with them?

We invested more than $1 million with Ux Omnitech. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them between January 2018–February 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We previously worked with two companies that were unable to complete the task. Everything started to go smoothly and turned around once Ux Omnitech became involved. 

How did Ux Omnitech perform from a project management standpoint?

They were always willing to come to our office and meet with us. They finished things ahead of schedule and were always transparent about outcomes. They stayed under our target budget; we added some features, but they were still able to work within it. We communicated via phone calls and emails. Our QA person called and checked in with us every two weeks. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were particularly impressed that they sent someone to our office to understand and figure out exactly what we were doing and trying to accomplish. They seemed focused on customer satisfaction and consistently asked for feedback. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We couldn’t come up with much; they were open to feedback and went back and forth with us to make changes. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Work directly with them and let them come in and see your business. Meet their team and get to know them. Visit their office so you can see their process and how they work.

Please describe your company and your position there.

We offer system solutions to moving company operations, in this case by a Logistic CRM Web and Mobile App. I'm the CMO of the company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Ux Omnitech, and what were your goals?

The moving industry was in dire need of a new system to manage all of the data and services going on. We saw that there was a huge gap in the market and hired Ux Omnitech to develop and bring our project to fruition. Our goal was to create a software that can fully support every aspect in a moving operation.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found out about them by reccomendation from someone who previously worked with them. The deciding factor for us was how skilled, and enthusiastic they were to execute the project accurately. They put themselves in the shoes of their customers which makes all the difference.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

First they sat with our team to find out what we wanted. They were very thorough in the interview. They sent over a full proposal and once we accepted they developed a full mockup design based on the features we requested. From there they started putting the team together and had a project manager in communication with us at each step, making adjustments according to our requests. We went through tons of testing and adjustments. Once completed, they even helped us get together a marketing plan for the launch. In the end, we now have the most ultimate Moving CRM available on the market. They still work on it to this day, making adjustments for requests from our larger customers.

5 people worked with me. Project manager, Lead Developer, ux designer, qa tester, and a quality assurance gentlemen.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The system provides automated and intelligent solutions to drastically improve a moving operation's efficiency by removing the need for Data Entry in most cases, increasing profits with autocalculating fees, and reducing customer complaints to public sites with customer service tools. The system was also designed to encourage ethical practices and compliance with industry regulations.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

They used a program to show us projects being worked on, updates, results from testing, priority lists, and kept a wide open channel for communication at all times.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their passionate desire to deliver accurately was impressive. They would not rest until we had the proper orientation of our ideas to be executed and until we were on track. They did thorough research on the market, the app was being built for and put themselves in the shoes of its users in order to produce the best system available.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They worked so hard and diligently that I don't have any criticisms. They were extremely efficient and always pushing the envelope.
