BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a personal care brand and benefit corporation. Our flagship product is a patented menstrual cup. We do outreach in developing countries to help girls stay in school.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Urtasker?
We were looking to open a sales channel on Amazon. It’s challenging to navigate their platform from a seller standpoint, so I knew that once I started digging around, I would need to find someone with experience to help me flawlessly launch the product there. I also wanted to get the product listing to rank on the platform.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
It’s a multi-step process working with Amazon. We hired Urtasker to help out with everything from building out an optimized product listing and brand storefront, getting Amazon approval with our FDA registration, and helping with the trademark registry for the brand. Their team also worked with us on keyword optimization to implement keywords into all different aspects of content.
We provided them with a Google Drive and Dropbox full of our company brand assets, including logo, brand color, and photography. We also provided copy, messaging, and previous keyword research we’d done.
They run our ad and marketing campaigns. Their team is constantly running analytics and reporting for us while proposing new strategies to help us improve our ranking on the platform. They’re currently launching a review strategy to help us build up reviews.
What is the team composition?
I work directly with three people, but there have been multiple people working there. They have design and copywriting services.
We have an account project manager that helps the communication flow between all of the other team members. The other two people are my technical points of contact. All of them oversee everything that’s outsourced to different members of the team.
How did you come to work with Urtasker?
After seeing the challenges of the Amazon backend and knowing that I didn’t have the bandwidth, I searched on Google to find freelancers or consultants to take care of it for me. Urtasker’s website popped up at the top, which showed me that they were skilled at keyword research and SEO when it came to their own business. That was a good indicator that they could do it for someone else’s business.
I filled out the inquiry form and then started vetting their services. After seeing they were a good fit within the right budget, we moved forward.

We’ve spent less than $5,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement with Urtasker started in January 2021.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Every week, I can see our milestones, and it’s clear we’ve done a lot in three months. Through the analytic reports, I can see how we’re moving in the keyword rankings. Sales are also increasing. I look at keyword ranking, organic search ranking, and conversions.
Another part of the strategy is brand awareness. We want to see how many eyes are coming to our product listing on the platform. We measure those metrics month after month, and we can see gains there. We also have technical deliverables we look to accomplish every week. Urtasker is dedicated to hitting those deadlines and ensuring that we stay on track with the entire scope of work.
How did Urtasker perform from a project management standpoint?
From a project management standpoint, they’re amazing. Our account manager is one of the best I’ve ever worked with.
Because of Amazon’s detailed process, their team outlined key action steps and milestones for each week. They also provide an agenda before each meeting and a task list at the end of each meeting. We meet weekly to go over and chip away at them. We have overarching long-term and short-term strategies. It takes a huge stress off to know that there is an extra set of eyes looking over everything that we want to accomplish within the set timeline.
For communication, we use Microsoft Teams along with our weekly hour-long video meeting. Once a month, I connect with our account manager on a higher level to see how everything is going.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I don’t know if I can pinpoint one thing, but their level of expertise is impressive. Their team can translate their expertise into an effective work plan that helps us achieve business goals.
I like working with people that are consistently assessing and analyzing how they can improve system processes. I feel like that is being done with our meeting time, project work, and individual work, improving our efficiency.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’m not sure. Urtasker keeps me on my toes. I get pulled in a lot of directions as a startup founder, but they’re very on top of things. I have to be mindful about how I invest my money, and Urtasker is incredibly economical and accessible.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
If you’re a startup founder looking to launch on Amazon, just hire Urtasker. It is a full-time job that requires the right amount of time. It will take you years to acquire the expertise they have. For the cost, the value is also 100% there.
