Ginger Owl wanted to devise an online event management software solution that complimented our evolving business requirements.   We set out to create a unified application that would streamline operations for live events and significantly enhance our competitive edge. 

Uptic's cloud engineering team implemented a Cl/CD environment using Azure DevOps and built a cloud-native application with modular microservices, delivering core functionality on day one. This architecture enabled rapid feature releases and key benefits, including: 

•    Flexible deployment options (single or multi-tenant) to meet event size and security needs, ensuring complete data segregation. 
•    Elastic scalability with on-demand cloud infrastructure for consistent high performance and cost efficiency.
•    Enhanced security across the technology stack by leveraging cloud security best practices. 
•    Granular, role-based access providing users with access to the functionality and data they need, when they need it, and nothing else. 
•    A clean, minimalist UI/UX for seamless navigation and faster task execution, delivering a frictionless user experience.

Uptic delivered a combined engagement of application development, platform engineering, and ongoing operations support and innovation. Key deliverables included:

Application develpment: Designed and built “SAGBook” - a React front-end intranet with centralized search, staff directory and self-service tools for 400+ professionals across 18 health centers.

Platform engineering: Re-architected the IT environment on Microsoft Azure (React, .NET, PostgreSQL), integrated Azure Active Directory for secure access, and modernized device lifecycle and connectivity for low-ops infrastructure.

Operations & innovation: Provided managed services for ongoing operations, optimization and feature enhancement — enabling SAG’s internal IT team to focus on innovation, not maintenance.
