• We wanted to start selling our products online, and the board gave us the directive to go online within three months. We needed to find a partner that could develop an e-commerce platform for us quickly without sacrificing its quality and speed.

Trident Spark developed a B2C e-commerce site for us.

We split the project into three phases. The first phase involved the development of the MVP, which we launched one month ago. The second phase involved implementing new features as well as extra pages into the website. The third and final phase involved integrating the whole e-commerce business into our ERP system, SAP.

We started the project by gathering our requirements, explaining what we wanted to achieve to Trident Spark, and documenting everything we discussed.

After that initial phase, they set off into Agile development. After developing something, they would test it and hand it over to me for further testing. I would then provide feedback, after which we would move on to the next component.

Tiles are one of the biggest divisions that we have, so we had to implement some custom features to the site for the tile industry. In tile manufacturing, we have the concept of tile batches and Trident Spark implemented batch customization into the site to help us easily manage these tile batches.

Aside from that, we requested a feature that we call a “tile finder”, which allows customers to browse different kinds, colors, and sizes of tiles more easily and in a user friendly manner.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I’ve received really good feedback from everyone I’ve shown it to in terms of its look and feel.

We were also able to accomplish the project within three months, which was our original goal for this project.

Trident Spark did an excellent job in terms of project management. They were always available and quick to address any issues that I encountered.

The project was very well defined from the beginning and everything was communicated well. I always knew what they were working on and when I can expect them to be delivered. We kept track of all their tasks using Azure DevOps, which ensured the transparency of the project’s progress.

We had an ecommerce site that needed a complete overhaul.  We had hired another company prior  and that company spent 18 months and could not deliver a usable website.  After an in-depth search for a company qualified to re-do the project that had just been finished, Trident Spark took over and built a new site from scratch.  They were amazing and delivered a finished product that any company would be proud of.

We experienced almost no downtime with regard to sales.  
The new site is easy to use from both the backend and the frontend.
