I’m an International Manager at a company that operates in bioenergy industry and develops environment-friendly equipment.

We were aiming to create a website.

What were your goals for this project?

It was supposed to be one more step to strengthen our international market positions.

How did you select this vendor?

We were considering outsourcing as a way to create a website. But after seeing the article about outstaffing we became interested in it. It was some kind of “how-to save on development”. The author of the article was TrendLine CEO, so we decided to continue with them.

We had a clear vision of what we wanted to achieve, so TrendLine Global found an excellent web developer to do a scope of work. He was working full time on our project from their office. At the beginning of the project we approved a list of things to be done, then had weekly skype meetings to update the development progress.

One web developer.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The work was done on time and on scope.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

It was quite effective, we had no problems with it.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Outstaffing is the most impressive thing about TrendLine Global. It is a more reliable model of hiring than freelancing (because developers are employed by a reputable company), but cheaper than outsourcing.

Are there any areas for improvement?

It seems to be no.

I’m a director of strategy and business development at an analytics company that provides a comprehensive solution in the analysis of the cryptocurrency market.

We were developing a crypto portfolio tracker and advisor, and our main challenge was a lack of developers. We needed to extend our development team with three full stack developers to launch the MVP on time.

What were your goals for this project?

We were aiming to launch an intelligent web solution for effortless portfolio management.

How did you select this vendor?

Our partners recommended the vendor. We thought Treadline Global offered an interesting model: fulltime remote developers that can work on our US project from their Ukrainian office.

Describe the project in detail.

TrendLine Global found the best-suited candidates in five days. They reviewed CVs, conducted initial interviews, and then we interviewed and approved the most appropriate ones. All candidates had the required tech skills, an upper intermediate level of English, knowledge in cryptocurrency, good soft skills. We started to work with the new developers in three weeks. We manage the project, and the vendor does the development. 

What was the team composition?

TrendLine Global provided us with three full stack developers. They also gave us a personal account manager who has been making communication with new team members easy.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were able to launch the MVP on the scheduled date. Now, we’re working with the TreadLine Global Developers on a mobile app for a tracker.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The TrendLine Global account manager has set up easy communication between the Ukrainian developers and our team via Trello, Slack, and Redmine.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They offer much lower rates compared with US developers. Their hiring process is also very quick, and it’s easy to communicate with them. They are reliable partners.

We’ve enjoyed everything.
