One of the key outcomes was the complete redesign of the control interface for our Falcon 4G device. It’s intuitive, reliable, and built to handle demanding field operations. The app allows our operators to manage the system easily and is ready to support future upgrades.

The main added value of the final outcome was the delivery of an interactive, user-customizable cycle diagram report in Power BI that improved our construction planning. - Data centralization – All information, including the cycle diagram, is now available in Power BI.

The latest campaign was for the Nashville Predators, Dr. Pepper, and Kroger. With our cutting-edge AR technology, customers could scan a package of Dr. Pepper's new beverage and gain access to exclusive video content with special features. 

The campaign was promoted through the NHL Nashville Predators official website. One of the campaigns was also a campaign for Papa Johns and Netspend plunged into augmented reality (AR) through an eGift promotion in partnership with Shaq’s Fun House presented by Netspend. Consumers learned about the campaign courtesy of the Instagram hub hosted by basketball great Shaquille O’Neal. Because the Papa Johns/Netspend promotion used WebAR technology, consumers didn’t have to download an app to trigger the augmented experience. They also didn’t need any additional hardware, like a VR headset. They see the dollar bill come alive directly on their phone screen.

Additionally, their level of productivity and product output is quite incredible given that our product is the first of its kind, leveraging and splicing various dev languages and design components that had not knowingly even been done before -- blending 2D and 3D. Furthermore, it is way easier for a dev team to work with a large company that has a massive budget. 

For those startups like us with a razor-thin budget, it truly takes a masterful and coordinated team like Touch4IT. Above all else? Their friendly culture and openness to change were impressive. They continually adapted as our roadblocks and issues evolved. This was the difference-maker for us and kept us afloat.

We needed to develop a mobile application (for both platforms: Android and iOS) to manage charging AC electric vehicles. We desired the application with features such as easy search for charging stations on the map, control over starting and ending the charging, checking real-time availability of chargers, having up-to-date information on charging prices for its users, vehicle navigation system and many others.

Our goal was to find a company that would understand our business model, our needs, and our requirements; with a long-term experience in mobile app development. The GreenWay mobile application is the main tool for charging electric vehicles, therefore it is the key platform for our company, as well. It is important to ensure that our clients (users) are able to use the app on daily basis, whenever they need and as easily and intuitively as possible - and that it is a fully functional app. Then it is a success for our entire company.

Based on previous good experiences, we approached Touch4IT as a technology partner to help us create a modern, custom software for the Annaberg ski resort and launch it for the first season.

Ski resorts represent a sphere that is very popular in the winter holiday season. Still, it is a sphere with a very low level of digitization or tracking of visitors' journeys, too. And our goal was (and still is) to change that. To bring innovative software to this area to help them partially automate ticket sales and increase sales (and thus center attendance). To help them better tailor their services to customers and increase their satisfaction.

As I wrote before — we chose Touch4IT based on our good previous cooperation. We knew their way of working and the quality of the outputs, so we knew that they would be a good choice for this project as well.

Touch4IT was helping us from the first step — from the definition and specialization of the entire product. They took it all under their roof: they selected the hardware for the kiosks, created the design for the kiosk and e-shop, and then developed it.

They redesigned the entire (current) purchase flow in order to make the new flow better and more intuitive for all visitors. They took care of the complete infrastructure of the whole solution — putting the device in operation, interfacing with the POS system, with the financial management, etc.

They covered all spheres: frontend, backend, devops and infrastructure. So, they've developed a system consisting of several smaller system parts. Some of them are also cloud based (kiosk, backoffice, e-shop, cash register, etc.).They helped us with support and maintenance throughout the first season.

We have created the kiosk system, through which a visitor of the ski resort can easily and quickly buy a ticket via a charge card, pay by card (or they can also pay in cash) and just enjoy their stay at the resort.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

This software solution improves the entire ticket purchase flow in the ski resort. It helps to monitor customers and their journey, their behavior and adapt the provided services to their needs. We have already implemented this full-fledged and functional software in the Lipno recreation center.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We rate it very well. The communication was on a regular level and we were always informed about everything. We knew exactly what stage the project was in, what we had done and what awaited us.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

For us — as a client — it was great to find a technology partner who can handle everything for us: from design, through development to system support. It is a huge added value for us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Together we have created a quality digital product (custom software), which is fully functional and used in ski resorts. In the future, if it needs to be updated or improved, we will definitely contact Touch4IT again.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

We are the Czech branch of the Ferrero Group—a multinational manufacturer of branded chocolate and confectionery products, and the second largest chocolate producer and confectionery company in the world.

We have a strong global presence and Ferrero products are present and sold directly or through authorized retailers in more than 170 countries belonging to the entire international community. My job position is Area SAP Project manager with focus on region Europe Multi-country and business oriented IT projects.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Touch4IT?

We have hired Touch4IT with a request to design and develop an innovative software solution—a complex system for managing our company’s whole product range.

The software solution was meant to save time and resources, and streamline product management processes. We needed to create a central hub, interconnecting data from different departments in our company. So basically, to put all the information about our product portfolio in one (digital) place.

SOLUTION

How did you select Touch4IT and what were the deciding factors?

Company Touch4IT has won our internal tender. We were impressed mainly by vast references for functionally similar projects.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

In the beginning, we sat down together at the same table—the Ferrero team and the Touch4IT team—and defined a product that would meet all our needs and requirements. And this product is our Portfolio Management System.

Subsequently, the design phase began, during which we received ongoing results and were thrilled with how Touch4IT designers were able to design such a clear and intuitive system. After the design was completed, the development phase began, resulting in the completion of the first version of our portfolio system.

We are constantly improving it and Touch4IT developers are managing the complete support and maintenance for this technical solution.

How many resources from the Touch4IT team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The cooperation from our side was our Area SAP Project manager and from the side of Touch4IT—one of their CEOs, project manager, the developer team and the design team.

Our cooperation was—and still is—very good and it can be seen that the Touch4IT team works well, they know each other and know exactly what and how to do it.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The biggest added value is that we are now able to work very efficiently through all our departments. All the data and parameters about our products and product lines are now in one place and if necessary, we can easily view, filter and export them to the required format and grouping.

For example, when our business department needs to create a specific price offer for a client, through our Teamfolio it can easily select the specific products needed for the specific market.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Our project was—and still is—managed at a highly professional level. Every decision is preceded by face-to-face meetings between our team and the Touch4IT team, so that we agree on everything and consequently they set the plan for all tasks.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It is a company full of experienced professionals who do a really good job. They advise and guide us well in what we want and need. We thought it would be difficult to find a solution that would suit our needs, but they understood us very quickly and helped us come up with and develop a quality single operation management system.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We are continuously working on the software, upgrading it, improving and adding new features.
