We needed to refine the MVP of our legal writing editor that assists our users in writing legal documents in plain language and upgrade it to a robust beta version. The goal was to add valuable features and refine our current feature set.

I chose Tipstat Infotech because they provided a thorough cost and time estimate for the project that I thought was fair. They were also very helpful in walking me through how each number was derived and happy to translate any jargon.

We haven't officially launched our app yet--but have been hosting demos with select clients. Everyone who uses our beta is delighted by how smooth and easy it is to use.

We used Slack as our primary source of communication and would host calls on Google Meet. Overall, their response time is quick, and their notes are straightforward.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They approach their work diligently and provide excellent thought leadership when encountering challenging situations.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Need to refine their time estimates for bug fixes.

They were great to work with. The team was punctual and did everything they needed to do to get the job done. No one has complained yet.

They did well with project management. We used Zoom meetings to manage the project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They did the job well, which is why we were happy with them. In our next phase, we’ll continue to use them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they were actually great at keeping us on schedule.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Like any project, it’s up to the customer to be concise with what you ask them to do. You also need to provide a reasonable time frame. If they can achieve all of those things, then things will do well.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Functional prototype fulfilling MVP requirements.

Project management was very good. The timeline ended up being longer than originally estimated because requirements changed and were refined as we progressed and learned more about what the project needed. Importantly, we kept very close to the original budget which was very important. So, while the project took several months longer than anticipated, the result (MVP) was very good and well worth the wait!

What was your primary form of communication with Tipstat Infotech?

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Commitment to adapt to changing requirements and challenges that arose but were not foreseen initially. This always happens in a SW dev project starting completely from scratch! I think they handled the project well.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Tipstat Infotech could have done differently?

At times, testing could have been more thorough and standardized, though generative AI applications are indeed a new world for SW dev! In the future, a somewhat more comprehensive and automated test set, especially for certain reactive features and cross-browser compatibility would be good.

We worked with Tipstat to build an MVP of our band booking project. Some key deliverables were designing the app for mobile and desktop. Implementing a chat feature for user to communicate with each other instantly. Band profile pages and a search filter to search for and save bands.

We're at a spot where we have a stable application that looks great on mobile and desktop.

Sanjay and Prem were excellent at responding quickly to any of our questions. Whenever a bug was found or a change in design or workflow was needed, Prem was able to have everything resolved within the next meeting. 

Sanjayis great at guiding the project deliverables and coming up with great solutions and helping us with best practices as we were new to creating an app from the ground up.

I like how personable the team we worked with is. We saw them every week in our weekly meetings and we developed a level of trust. The team was great at keeping us on task and on scope of what we were wanting in our MVP.

No I think they were great!

I manage and operate an IT web consultancy company and hired Tipstat to help me with a web development project. I partner with clients to help them with development and marketing needs.

We hired Tipstat to help us develop a custom CMS platform for customers to manage Helium Hotspots. The challenge lay in creating a front-end application without wireframes because we needed to move fast.

We found them through Upwork and Tipstat demonstrated expertise in communication and development staffing for both front-end and back-end developers.

We were able to hit our deliverables and the development team was able to successfully work in an agile environment without delay.

We had a dedicated project manager for this project who was helpful in using Asana, email, and Slack.

They were reliable in terms of communication and project execution timing.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The communication around staffing could have been better. One of the developers on the project wound up leaving and the integration of a new developer could have gone a bit smoother.
