We asked for a mobile app that would allow our sponsors to display products and services in connecting our broadcasted show. Key points: 

• Video Streaming of recorded show 
• Show will highlight products that need to be present on the app view viewing and linking to purchase page. 
• Timelines in broadcast will connect user to products via QR codes for use with the app. 
• Users would be able to review products, save a wishlist to a registered account, and when ready, connect to sponsor to purchase product or service. 
• We needed an admin tool to manage it all key points of the show: products (images, descriptions, links, QR codes), ads, cast, and videos. 
• We needed the app for a broad user base: Android and IOS users.

• Meeting requirements and timelines, stability and scalability of product, successful deployment onto all platforms, and availability and support of code and end product.

 They understand budgets, and value, and conduct themselves professionally while being attentive and present.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

TRT is one of the most geniune companies I've ever worked with. They are direct, honest, humble, and easy to communicate with, include after business hours, even while being on the opposite side of the world.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Third Rock Techkno could have done differently?

I am currently very happy with the processes, communication, availability, and professionalism of TRT. I'd say that they are a model example of what working with a development team should be. Being new to the process ourselves, I can only state that TRT has set the bar on what a working relationship should be.

We hired Third Rock Techkno to develop a SAAS product for our clients. We were looking to make our clients more efficient in their day to day processes.

I selected this vendor from an article one of the Business managers had written. They had identified all of the goals and potential issues in developing a SaaS product.

. I initially held interviews for discovery with my clients. From this I developed business analysis plan, and developed requirements and system features. We had a series of discovery meetings to discuss our goals and objectives. And then Third Rock Techkno developed a timeline with cost for the project.

A project manager was assigned to my project, along with a business analyst and developer.

Every step of the way Third Rock was very detailed in how they would go about achieving the deliverables. Third Rock made my concept which was initially abstract more tangible.

Their project management style was flawless and seamless. They share google docs and a spreadsheet outlining exactly how each deliverable would be executed. Communication was through Google meets which was always timely.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The abundance and level of talent available was what impressed me the most. They had BA's, developers, Devops engineers, and capable Project Managers. Third Rock Techkno stayed on top of everything.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In my time working with them, they didn't do things really wrong. They were consistent in following up with me, and diligent when it came to meetings.

We needed a custom web application for an ongoing research project

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We needed someone that could act fast. We decided to go with this vendor because of their track record.

We had a couple of meetings to make sure they understood how to get the data from our backend and what we needed from the front-end application they were going to develop for us. After that, establish a few milestones and the work began.

This was a research project, nonetheless, the internal users were satisfied with the results.

We were in constant contact with the developer through Skype. Meetings were arranged at milestones' beginnings and ends were the project manager was also present.

I wanted an app made in Flutter so it would be cross-platform and cost-effective.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I received quotations from many agencies - I chose Third Rock because of their professional delivery of the quotation, with a detailed analysis of the screens I required. They were quick and helpful to answer my questions.

The UI design was ready from my side, so Third Rock had to code it in Flutter.

There were 3 team members mainly that I communicated with - Developer, Project Manager and the Co-Founder.

The app has been coded exactly to the high standard I expected it to be.

The team was always willing to get on a call if there were questions or issues and kept in communication throughout.

Their hands-on approach and high level of communication were awesome.

There were challenges as Flutter is a new coding language, so launch took a bit longer, but that was more on part to the newness of Flutter and its capabilities.

We had a kick off meeting with the core group of developers that would be working on the project. There were three teams:

1. the back-end developers;
2. the team focused on the business intelligence tools; and
3. the team focused on the web portal. The project was structured in that order and each team would reach out to me with questions as the project progressed.

Each development team had a team lead with which I would engage. Again, the teams were back-end, business intelligence, and web portal development.
