What challenge were you trying to address with Telesens?

I was working for an educational agency, and they wanted to create a new data entry system to foster the work of the people who work for them. Since I have backgrounds in both IT and as a teacher, they asked me to manage this project.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Telesens was hired to develop a data entry system mobile app for iOS and Android and an accompanying website. Telesens was on the technical team, and I was an independent contractor working as a project manager. They were also tasked with offering maintenance and hosting support after the solutions’ delivery.

I worked with five people from Telesens, including a project manager, whom I had day-to-day communication with, and a team of three coders and a database specialist.

We found Telesens through a referral.

We spent around $200,000 on this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from May 2021–September 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We worked off of a work plan. Telesens had deliverables, and we would check off the deliverables as they delivered them. Then we had user acceptance testing, where we went through every single one of the functions with our user group. Overall, the end client was happy with the results.

How did Telesens perform from a project management standpoint?

Telesens performed well in terms of project management. They had challenges because of the pandemic, but I’d say they met those challenges admirably.

We primarily communicated through Google Meet and Zoom meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Telesens’ courtesy and responsibility were greater than I could ever have expected.

No.

As with any project, the more detailed your specs are, the more accurate the outcome and the pricing will be.

We have achieved our project goal, the system was successfully implemented and we took new business processes into operation, which helped us to reduced costs.

The result exceeded expectations. We received transparent billing/reporting tools, roaming billing and collation automatization and efficient interconnect management with costs optimization.

Project was well-organized with high delivery standards. Communication was clear, fast with measurable outcomes. As a specific point, we had weekly meetings for the implementation of the project milestones, tracking, support, also we had round-the-clock support in important issues.

Telesens is perfect with a wide range of tasks Their solutions and products are 100% relevant to our needs, flexible, and allow us to effectively manage relationships with contractors (international and local operators, service providers and content aggregators, roaming partners, corporate clients), etc.

From time to time new requests for improvement appears. Telesens Interconnect Business Suite solutions are extremely flexible and let us make changes and improve the platform. Therefore we are satisfied with the results.

Telesens introduced the Interconnect billing system Tinterconnect (T-IC) at our company in 2004, which has proven itself very well. So we chose Telesens for our new project.

• Creating subscriber profiles and changing them through the provisioning interface;
• Setting (identifiers) of QoS policies via the Solutions web interface;
• Subscriber identification by DHCP option 82 (device ID and port);
• Issuing IP addresses; 
• Transfer the current subscriber policy QoS via DHCP option 64. Deliverables
• The solution provides connection management for 50,000 subscribers and does not contain licensing restrictions on the number of supported subscriber connections.
• The solution allows up to 10 web users to work simultaneously.

The Telesens solution provides an open, extensible SOA architecture, allows you to increase the number of subscribers and connect new types of services. Delivery and implementation were carried out on time and at a high professional level. Therefore, I can recommend Telesens as a reliable and highly professional partner to solve the problems of telecommunications companies

Thanks to Telesens, we got bug-free app. Moreover, they made some improvements that really look nice on the current app. They also were attentive to details and fixed minor issues.

Business Development manager was available for discussions any time. We also appointed meetings with Chief Commercial Manager and Project manager and they ran successfully. In general, communication was open and quick.

It took more time than we expected. But it was worth it.

The company has met our expectations and succeeded to embody our ideas into a fully working and easy-to-use system. We've worked with Telesens for a long time, and are willing to keep working with them whenever it'd be needed again.

The communication was mainly in e-mail, and there were weekly meetings in Skype where we discussed different functionalities and features, their estimation, when and how they'd be released. All the management was on the side of Telesens.

The quality of the final platform was exactly what we expected. With all the challenging tasks, large integrations, and features that are difficult to implement —Telesens succeeded to materialize and bring to life our wills.

The T-RBT is a solution for operators, subscribers, and content providers platform for high quality personalized audio content instead of “long beeps”. The T-RBT software package allows us to modernize voice services, move to a new online and offline integration level, and minimize operating costs.

Our experience with Telesens specialists, their expert knowledge, and effective communication skills have become the key to the success and implementation of the project. Their team is well-organized, which was vital for our complex project. I want to emphasize that the process itself was transparent. Their customer-oriented approach to interaction, schedule management, and transparent process was impressive. They have the ability to monitor operations, check the actual status of project progress. Their managers’ ability to make changes and control variables, and implement agreements was unique.

Difficult and multi-stage work: installation and testing process, trial operation and confirmation of the readiness of the T-IC system for continuous operation. The T-IC system uses a two-tier client-server architecture: Client - T-IC operates under OS MS Windows (XP, Vista). Server - Any platform that supports Oracle can be used as the hardware for the database server and call server. The T-IC system is operated on the following types of servers: SUN platform running Solaris. HP platform running HP-UX. Intel platform running AIX. Intel x86 platform running Linux.
