We hired TechXquare to develop and deploy a backend system for one of our upcoming projects (stealth mode). Our goal was simple: affordable and reliable production

We selected them based on a strong referral and their attractive pricing

The backend system was developed on Node.JS and was deployed on AWS Serverless. The team ran a scrum-style build split into 4 to 5 sprints spread over 7 to 8 modules. The key deliverable for TechXquare was a system deployed on the server that was to be tested by us

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We feel that the team is competent and delivered the task reasonably well.

Project management was generally hands-on in terms of understanding the tasks but TechXquare was independent when it came to development. We used Trello as our primary tool for task documentation and WhatsApp for communication and expectations alignment.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I feel they are tenacious and really push to get the job done - a quality that is lacking in many external teams that I have worked with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Yes. There are always areas of improvement but for their pricing, I think their quality of work is quite reasonable

For what projects/services did your company hire TechXquare, and what were your goals?

We wanted to revamp our website and build a course portal for our employees and well as partners. We wanted installation, setup and then tracking analysis. We also wanted to amend some of the ways that the LMS would display the courses.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We got a referral for this company through someone. We then asked them to do a small pilot to test their capabilities. The major factors that we had were technical capabilities, speed of delivery, experience and availability of support.

The website was simple. We wanted a WordPress website, with some extra features, including eRoom meetings, meeting scheduling (through Calendly) and forms. The LMS systems we used were LearnPress and LearnDash. The vendor was provided a structure, and detailed steps. The major steps included wire-framing, then theme selection, then key features to be designed and then implemented.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our target was to reduce the administrative workload of trainers. Their workload reduced from 3 hours / participant to about 15 minutes. Another outcome was conversion. We saw a 30% increase in conversion of hits on our website. (30% more people clicked and took the next step)

We were using WhatsApp and email for communication, mainly. I found them to be very responsive in the time they committed - the issues were communicated and discussed clearly, and solutions were suggested.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were professional, focused, and solution-oriented We came across things they were not aware of, and they told us up front that they will be learning - and they were very good with that

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There were some minor adjustments that were required as we went from one stage to another - and the transition was sometimes difficult. They worked with us to smoothen it, and we were pleasantly surprised at how they pulled themselves and improved this

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In the past, placing an order required calling the restaurant or driving there for takeaway, then waiting for the food to be prepared and delivered. Order errors can occasionally occur when placing an order over the phone. These are obviously not the finest ways to order food from restaurants, especially for those who lead busy lives. 

The best course of action is to start ordering online. Restaurant operators can develop a website, an app, or perhaps both to improve operations while also making it simpler for consumers to place orders. An online ordering platform can help restaurants run their daily operations more effectively. On the other hand, a customer takes their time when placing a purchase online.

TechXquare was independent when it came to development, but project management was typically hands-on when it came to comprehending the tasks. We mostly utilized Trello for task documentation, and WhatsApp for communication and setting expectations.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were competent, laser-focused, and problem-solving. We encountered information that they were unaware of, and they were excellent at informing us that they would be studying as we went along.

Yes. Although there is always room for improvement, I believe their work is of reasonable quality given their price.
