TechTiz has been responsible for managing our mobile app for the past three years. During this time, we have developed numerous features for various stakeholders. TechTiz has handled the mobile app infrastructure and deployments, as well as the mobile tech design and implementation. They have successfully overcome numerous challenges in our tech stack and have consistently met many tight deadlines.

Mohsin and his team delivered a multitude of tickets during their time with us, they worked along side our in-house team very well. Key deliverables during this time were the production of an MVP application and then the further development of our main production level application.

We were impressed with their transparency and communication. There was never a discussion left unsaid. This I believe is important for a high performance team made up of multiple collaborating partners.

Unfortunately, as every team has - there were a few short comings but all were the result of miscommunication and none were the sole fault of the Techtiz team, we were able to recalibrate and continue stronger throughout the project journey.

I am a Product Owner at Trilix. Trilix specializes in custom software development and management consulting.

We needed a mobile application for one of our clients that allowed users to sign up for events and manage their event history. The application also allowed admins of the application to take attendance at the event and track credit hours for the participants.

The goal was to make the current process of event registration and attendance taking all virtual without the need for manual entry by the staff.

We searched online via Upwork and based on their past projects and technical expertise we chose Techtiz.

This project required Techtiz to leverage the Flutter framework and add functionality to an already existing app for 3 different user types. The team needed to deliver functionality every 2 weeks for us to demo to our client. They were also tasked with bug fixes that came back from QA.

One Lead Software Architect/Owner worked with us on the project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Over the 3 months Techtiz was on the project they were able to finish all functionality that was scoped out. They were pulled into the project half-way through development after our team lost our full-time mobile developer for another position.

Techtiz was able to get up to speed quickly and read through the current code to make sense of the architecture and how it was developed.

We used Slack, Jira, and Teams to communicate. We had a quick check-in in the morning and then every few days we'd check in over Teams. Techtiz is prompt with their communication with us.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The mobile development skills in Flutter set this company apart from the rest. The owner, Mohsin, is also very friendly and an excellent communicator.

None at this time.

Adnan and I met during another project, and his company Techtiz was my first choice when I was offered a new opportunity.

This project was to build a react app to serve high-performance marketing landing pages. The pages needed to be completed very accurately in short turnaround development cycles. GDPR compliance was required. We collected data via an email signup form and captured results paired with marketing and conversion data in an Amazon RDS instance.

Analytics and conversion data were also stored fed to mixpanel for visualization and segment analysis.

Techtiz made every deadline I gave them. They have gone above and beyond to make very tight deadlines and exceed my expectations.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Techtiz was available on my (US) time frame and always looking for ways to exceed my expectations.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The quality of work, willingness to quickly iterate and take direct feedback in stride, and great communication skills and availability.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The first round of landing page designs the requirement of pixel-perfect implementation caused some surprise, I was very direct and had a lot of feedback. This was completely remedied in the next round and once their developers knew my expectations they were ahead of me at every step.

As soon as I talked to Mohsin I knew it was him and his team I needed to hire. I could tell they would be a good bunch to work with. Mostly because Mohsin is just really laid-back and easy to talk with. I was looking for a partner, not just a freelancer. I wanted someone who could give me good feedback on development lifts and effort in order for me to stay within budget yet be able to still add value to the end users.

The entire time, he was very transparent and gave me realistic expectations. As far as the actual work. I'm just impressed and so thankful. My app was relatively complex and they made it seem simple. I loved that I can rely on Mohsin and the team to figure out the best and most feasible approach. I can't thank them enough. They have helped me reach a huge goal and chase down a dream. Honestly, no. I think I could have been better at my documentation, and they still exceeded expectations.

We were able to support our product after going to market. User reported bugs, and necessary feature changes were addressed in a reasonable time.

We follow agile methodologies. A daily dev stand up takes place, and was reliably attended. Issues are documented using GitLab for ticket tracking, and further discussed on Slack. Expectations were met.

Reliability. Commitment to ensuring the end-product was satisfacory. Including rearranging schedules to address unexpected issues.
