I'm a Business Analyst for an IT company focusing on outsourcing and ODC services.

For what projects/services did your company hire Techtiq Solutions, and what were your goals?

TechTIQ Solutions is our partner in Singapore. They introduce us to potential clients and act as the intermediary between them and us. This project's client wanted to build a mobile app for truckers at first, then they expanded the scope to build a website portal, which can accommodate multiple customers to manage their delivery bookings, as well as delivery sites and truck fleets.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We came into contact with them through one of the shareholders' connections.

The mobile app was built with Kotlin and Swift, while the web portal was built with Angular and Java, implementing microservice structure.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Our main contact personnel was a Client Success Manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project was a success in general; the client received positive feedback from their customers, and the new system has been working without much trouble.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We had weekly meetings with the client, where TechTIQ acted as the meeting facilitator. TechTIQ also had regular meetings with the client from which they collected new requirements and conveyed to us through Trello and Jira.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were great at helping us gather requirements and communicate with the client. When there was a critical issue during the project development, they were also the one who mediated the situation and devised the problem identification and problem solving plan.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There were some issues due to the constant change in requirements from the client, which TechTIQ has improved the procedure to mitigate the problem.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We outsource our website development projects to TechTIQ Solutions, and they handle smaller sites for startups up to more complex enterprise model sites for our large clients. The technologies they use include WordPress, HubSpot, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WooCommerce. They also work on a lot of API integrations with third parties like MailChimp and Google Maps.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Retention rates of our customers are high. We haven’t had any clients that have been unhappy with the work that’s been delivered through our partnership with TechTIQ Solutions. On tactical metrics, they’ve consistently hit the mark on site speed and core web vitals.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Their strong project management skills are one of the primary reasons we work with them. We’ve had the same project manager since day one. As a team, they’ve been very active in our Slack channel. We use Monday.com for our project management, and we utilize Jira to access their day-to-day progress. 

Every two weeks, I receive a report on how they utilize their time, which allows me to see how efficient they’ve been with our specific solutions and requests. Above all, they consistently meet or go under our estimated budget, and they’re very true to the timelines they provide.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They do a very thorough job of documenting for estimating purposes. I’ve worked with developers in the past who has given me one-page estimates with no details of the project. Compared to that, TechTIQ prepares multiple pages of research and discovery on top of their actual cost and timeline, which is one of the things I really appreciate about them. 

Furthermore, I really like that they’re flexible. We’ve had some challenging projects where the scope has changed or deliverables have changed, but the team has been able to do a really good job of shifting teammates and timelines.

Are there any areas for improvement or something TechTIQ Solutions Pte Ltd could have done differently?

No. I don’t have anything negative to say about them.
