What was the scope of their involvement?

TechSimba developed a platform in Node.js where users could book flights, train and bus tickets, or private cars. We provided their team with the project requirements, which included the third-party APIs that needed to be used to facilitate booking processes.

I don’t know how many teammates were assigned to the project.

We were looking for a website developer that worked in Node.js on Upwork. We vetted several agencies before selecting TechSimba.

I invested around $12,000.

This project was from January–August 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We measured their success through our customer’s satisfaction. Thankfully, our customer was satisfied with the platform TechSimba delivered. 

How did TechSimba perform from a project management standpoint?

The entire project was managed on Upwork, which was also how I communicated with TechSimba’s team. On Upwork, we were able to document milestones and the budget. Using Upwork kept us from forming personal connections with TechSimba.

TechSimba had an excellent portfolio on Upwork.

I had to send them 1–2 reminders to ensure they completed the project on time.
