We're a software company working on small, niche tasks and cloud solutions. I am the creative director of the company. I was the project manager for our work with TechnoSIP.

What challenge were you trying to address with TechnoSIP?

We were creating an inventory bar and restaurant app. There is not a lot of assistance that can simplify this kind of work. I'm a software engineer myself, but I don't have a lot of experience in mobile development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

TechnoSIP provided development for our Android and iOS solution, handling everything from backend to database work.

The cost of TechnoSIP's work was between $25,000 and $27,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We've only used them for this project so far, but plan to contact TechnoSIP for any future mobile development work.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

Results are yet to be determined. The application has been completed, but we're still looking to make some modifications to it. We haven't started the marketing process.

How did TechnoSIP perform from a project management standpoint?

TechnoSIP has assigned an account manager for our work. Even though parts of their team may have been outsourced, we didn't have to deal with that. We always communicated with a technically-inclined person who worked with us on various features and upgrades throughout the process. Communication was great. TechnoSIP was on Skype every day and we could schedule phone calls within an hour. All deadlines were met during the broad scope of the project. The tasks that we gave TechnoSIP after our project ended had a waiting time, but we were the main focus during the main collaboration.

What did you find most impressive about TechnoSIP?

I've been doing this for a long time, working with many different companies. In my experience, development agencies will only do what is required of them, without providing any kind of input. I’ve found that, if I didn't spell something out in the most minute of terms, the team simply won't do it correctly. TechnoSIP offered us a project manager who has worked with us throughout the process. He was able to provide insight into what we were trying to do, actually stopping us along the way and coming up with alternative approaches. TechnoSIP's team was very intuitive with regards to more ambiguous instructions. If we forgot to include something, they let us know about it. We can't always think of everything, so TechnoSIP was a great help.

Are there any areas TechnoSIP could improve?

Not that I can think of. The project went smoothly.

I am the founder of iFavr.org, a startup with the goal to share data on what people like best. The iFavr app allows users to capture and share what they like best, thereby contributing to a large dataset. iFavr offers a fun alternative to surveys and opinion polls. Its target market is the global English-speaking community.

What challenge were you trying to address with TechnoSIP?

I needed help with development. The app had to be responsive, multi-platform, and location-aware. As a startup, I wanted to work with an established app development company who could guide me through the complete process, from conceptualization to a successful launch.

What was the scope of their involvement?

To achieve this goal, I engaged TechnoSIP to develop the iFavr app. TechnoSIP provided a full end-to-end service, from concept to launch and marketing. As a startup, I could benefit from TechnoSIP's established technical and business expertise in launching our first mobile application. We also agreed on a development roadmap to introduce new features. This allowed us to launch the app, evaluate how it is used, and introduce new features as they are needed. Having built a trustworthy relationship during app development, we have engaged TechnoSIP to assist with the initial marketing of the iFavr app through the engagement of an initial user base.

TechnoSIP was selected from a Google search, because of their expertise.

How much have you invested with TechnoSIP?

The cost for the development of the mobile app is in the $20,000 to $50,000 (USD) range.

What is the status of this engagement?

We are currently working with them.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

The engagement process was simple and the project was delivered on time and within the agreed budget. I don't have any specific metrics.

How did TechnoSIP perform from a project management standpoint?

While working in different time zones (Australia and the USA) posed some challenges, TechnoSIP was very accommodating in scheduling telephone conferences outside of their normal business hours.

What did you find most impressive about TechnoSIP?

I found TechnoSIP professional and trustworthy, with a genuine concern for the success of the mobile applications that they develop. TechnoSIP provided an excellent service in managing the app development. They provided valuable advice and assistance on the app design and features. They were instrumental in launching and marketing the iFavr app.

Are there any areas TechnoSIP could improve?

The development roadmap could have been done earlier as it provided assurance and clarity on features and when they should be introduced. It also assisted in determining the scope of the first version.

I am director of business development for a hospitality company.

What challenge were you trying to address with TehcnoSIP?

We needed a mobile app solution for the hospitality industry. It was a B2B app that would optimize operations and provide seamless guest services. The technology should address the needs of the end users we were targeting. We were looking for technology partners that could understand our requirements in depth.  

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, our idea was to partner with TehcnoSIP for only the mobile app design and development. During our initial meeting, we were impressed with their technical knowledge. They understood the domain problems and came up with suggestions and solutions. We asked them to come up with a short-term and long-term technology roadmap for our product. They were also responsible for executing that roadmap.

The app was developed for both Android and iOS. It was native development using ObjectiveC and Android Platform for the front-end, and PHP and MySQL the for back-end. TehcnoSIP was involved starting from the idea stage of the project. They handled the wireframe, UI design, development, and testing. They also did the deployment to the Google Play store and Apple store and provided post-deployment support.

How did you come to work with TehcnoSIP?

TehcnoSIP was referred by a member of a meetup group that I attend on a regular basis. We shortlisted 5 service providers. Ultimately, we decided to go with TehcnoSIP because of their experience and knowledge. We had a concern regarding the risk of project execution and cost overrun. They addressed both concerns, which helped us make the decision to move forward with them. They were very honest and straightforward during our meeting.

How much have you invested with TehcnoSIP?

We spent a total of $10,000 to $50,000 for the mobile app development. When they implemented more features and developed an analytic dashboard, we paid an additional $50,000 to $200,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our first project has been completed. The second project is ongoing.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

We have an impressive number of hospitality clients that enrolled for our service. Due to our company policy, I cannot provide the exact number, but it’s fair to say we achieved our intended goal. That’s a direct result of the timely and successful execution by the TehcnoSIP team.

How did TehcnoSIP perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is the best part of our engagement. TehcnoSIP runs a very tight show and they are very detail-oriented. They make sure our project is executed on time. We also have timely, effective, and efficient communication with them. For the mobile app, the project manager was able to anticipate risks and suggest alternatives. They use a well-defined set of tools and process to manage their tasks. In addition, they provide transparent estimates during the project execution.  

What did you find most impressive about TehcnoSIP?

TehcnoSIP's team is highly creative and can always come up with better ways of doing things. They accept challenges and push boundaries to provide the best services. They also have very effective and efficient project management and communication.

Are there any areas TehcnoSIP could improve?

Honestly, I couldn't think of any at this point.
