What challenge were you trying to address with Tech Exactly?

I decided to make some apps with the experience I’ve had. I hired Tech Exactly to build an app with the content I created. The current app I’m doing is on emotional abuse, and there aren’t enough resources out there. As a therapist who worked with clients, I would’ve loved to have the app I created so they could have something at home 24/7. I feel like I’m entering a gap in the mental health world.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Tech Exactly has built an app for me. I gave them a basic overview of my app. It’s pretty simple. I gave them videos I created, bullet point text, and homework assignments. I wanted them to see that it was content-driven, not AI. I wasn’t looking to do anything special.

We started from zero. We picked colors and a logo. They did a good job listening to what I had in my head for this app. One thing I ran into was that many people wanted me to do AI stuff. I said no. Tech Exactly was good at listening. They’ve done a good job of turning it into what I had in my head.

The app has 33 videos. It has four sections broken down into subsections. Each subsection has a video. It’s a simple operating system. This is a complicated topic, so I just want something simple. People don’t have to fight through it. They can get to a video and hopefully get some support.

They’ll publish the app for iOS and Android. They offer data analysis and feedback.

The owner did the presentation. I've also worked with a project manager and another person.

How did you come to work with Tech Exactly?

I was very pleased with their responsiveness. I had worked with someone I got a personal referral from, and they completely flaked on me. I interviewed five different companies. I found Tech Exactly through Clutch. They had a great presentation. They set out expectations and accountability. I liked their personality, and the price was very good.

We started working together in September 2025. We’re still working together. I’m coming to the end of the development process, but I have to move into marketing and selling.

I just wanted someone to take my idea and put it in form; they’ve done a very good job of that. I’m very pleased with how the app looks. I’ve had to get 33 videos filmed and edited. Any complication has been easily handled. They’ve exceeded my expectations.

How did Tech Exactly perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve met all their timeline goals. They’ve been very clear. This is so foreign to me. I’ve tried to give them what they need at the time. They’re good at explaining what the first part is and what the second part is. Now, we’re bringing in the content and getting it uploaded. Their communication is good. I can provide them with what they need.

We mainly use email. We use Zoom, too.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I really like that they understand my mission. Some other companies are more worried about selling me something. Tech Exactly really listens. They’ve been very complimentary about my project. It’s a passion project, and they understand that. They’ve given me positive feedback. We’re aligned.

Tech Exactly created a simple and static mobile app that served as a reference guide for our customers. Users could scroll through different pages and get the information they needed. The team finished the app's development, but we recently implemented an update for Android 14. To be clear, the app they built was a replacement for our existing app.

We received lots of positive feedback from users, who found the app useful and helpful in their daily lives. Overall, Tech Exactly met our expectations.

Their project management approach was absolutely fantastic. We didn’t use any project management tools because the project was too small; they weren’t necessary. To communicate, we used emails and Zoom calls.

Sudeshna was super responsive and accommodating. She was truly outstanding. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed with how they interacted with me. They knew that I wasn’t an app development expert, so they explained everything using everyday language. As a result, I knew exactly what they needed from me and what was happening, making the process truly easy for me.

I've known Hitesh and Tech Exactly for a few years now and have been very impressed with his company's work ethic and ability to deliver results. When I decided to dismantle my development team and outsource my iOS development efforts, his was the first name that came to mind. Since we were contacted by Apple for a possible featuring opportunity, I need his team to quickly take over the project and make some key changes. 

Hitesh immediately got into action mode and assigned a seasoned developer and tester for my project. Manas, the developer, took a handover in no time and started churning out the desired results almost immediately. After the initial roll out, I had another set of important features, including a database migration task that needed to be done. Currently the app is being optimised and a few new features are also being added.

Manas, the iOS developer, immediately understood the code and successfully integrated Storekit2 for subscriptions He also successfully completed the database migration and has been very quick in implementing new key features for StickMe Notes which has resulted in improved performance on the appstore. Manas is always helpful with his suggestions and works very sincerely and utmost dedication.

I didnt need much project management as I'm doing that myself. However, I've been exceedingly impressed with Manas and Anesha (Tester). They are forthcoming, prompt, meticulous, sincere, punctual, and very professional. It's a joy to work with them!

I hired Tech Exactly to take on an existing mobile app project for which they inherited a highly flawed code that two previous firms had produced. I needed them to clean up the existing code and add many new features that enhanced the UX and value to users. Hitesh, the Director, sold me on the company with his professionalism, refreshing openness, and very sharp eye for UX and what resonates with consumers.

I felt like I was investing in Hitesh's capabilities more than the company itself. I was pleased with the initial scope of work, as well as the cost, and continued adding new features for the live iOS version of the app. Eventually, we agreed on an SOW to create an Android version and add monetization features via eCommerce and affiliate partnerships, which is still being worked on.

As mentioned, I struggled with two other engineering firms based in India, and I was concerned that I'd be able to find a reliable firm within my limited budget. Tech Exactly exceeded expectations and made me feel confident I had a truly invested partner in my business. They do thorough, quality work and give proper thought into creating the best possible product, rather than just checking the box for the client.

I’m the president of a nonprofit organization called Foundation for Talent Transformation. Our platform helps users learn about themselves and their relationships with others.

What challenge were you trying to address with Tech Exactly?

We were looking to quickly ramp up our technology and develop a scalable platform that could take on thousands of users daily. We didn’t have the technical resources, so we needed an outsourcing partner. We also needed to update our website, so we needed good software and website developers with a disciplined approach.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Tech Exactly has developed Android and iOS applications and enhanced our organization’s website. We provide personality quizzes for users to understand more about themselves. These quizzes focus on different areas, including personality traits, personality values, emotional intelligence, and career interests. 

Tech Exactly has worked on our native apps’ existing code and enhanced it. They’ve decided which parts to keep and which not. Tech Exactly has also designed the app's UI/UX using Figma.

We have the psychology knowledge our quizzes require, and we’ve relied on Tech Exactly to manage the apps’ UX, architecture, and coding. We’ve asked Tech Exactly for the design to be interactive and easy to use, and QA is critical for us. 

Creating our apps’ quizzes requires engineering expertise to ask questions correctly and create the results reports. The quizzes also need a certain level of QA to ensure we don’t miscalculate results and give users wrong advice. Users first answer a questionnaire, and their answers run through our algorithms designed to determine the user’s personality traits and values. The app then compiles a report, which is personalized for the user based on their answers. The result reports are stored in our database, and we can provide a more holistic view and recommendations with all the different results. After a user has taken a few quizzes, the app recommends activities, workbooks, or other quizzes.

Moreover, Tech Exactly has also enhanced our website, which runs databases to create this compiled data report that guides our users. They’ve developed our site on Wix using the Velo platform, which uses JavaScript language.

 What is the team composition?

I work with Tech Exactly’s product manager, a UX designer, a QA manager, and five developers: three web developers and two mobile app developers.

How did you come to work with Tech Exactly?

We went through a careful consideration process. We had a list of our project’s criteria and evaluated companies from Latin America, India, and the Philippines. We shortlisted our research to 10 companies that met our project’s criteria. We had a preliminary interview with each company, then narrowed our list to three companies and spoke to an executive to discuss our possibilities in case something went wrong. 

We wanted to work with someone that knew how to work with us as people and who believed in our organization’s mission. We chose Tech Exactly because of our good rapport with their executive team — we had an authentic dialogue. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Tech Exactly in September 2022, and our engagement is ongoing.

Since we started working with Tech Exactly, our apps’ daily users have increased from an average of 200 to 1000 users. The percentage of quizzes completed has also increased, from 60% to 85%. Another important metric for us is the number of members joining our platform since users can also take quizzes without necessarily becoming members. We currently have 27,000 members and receive around 2,000–3,000 new members monthly. 

Since we offer a free product, we’ve asked Tech Exactly for an engaging app that motivates users to stay, and they’ve achieved that. I have a lot of admiration for Tech Exactly because we have an authentic relationship. Whereas other competitors we had interviewed talked about how great they were, Tech Exactly has told us about our challenges and mistakes. 

How did Tech Exactly perform from a project management standpoint?

Tech Exactly meets deadlines and stays on budget. We have daily Microsoft Teams calls to ensure we have any blockages in the pipelines resolved and work under the Agile methodology. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m most impressed with Tech Exactly’s ability to understand our challenges and come up with options to resolve them. With other vendors I’ve worked with, I have to spend a lot of time explaining the challenge to them, and sometimes, they still don’t understand it. 

Tech Exactly takes the time to listen to us and offers us 3–5 different options to achieve the expected results.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything for Tech Exactly to improve. We’re satisfied with their work, and whenever we’ve had issues, we talk directly to their executive team to resolve them. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend having daily calls with Tech Exactly. A 15–30 daily call is really helpful to resolve any doubts. Cooperate and collaborate as much as possible with Tech Exactly’s team, especially with the frontend and UI/UX designer. Setting the project’s documentation upfront will save you engineering work because when mistakes are made in the frontend, you’re collecting things to also fix on the backend.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Tech Exactly provides mobile development services. They’re doing all the iOS and Android development. The app is a cycling safety application that essentially provides users with a safety score based on how safe the route is. If someone wants to go from point A to point B, the app will give them a couple of different options and tell them how safe each one is through our proprietary safety score. Also, it’ll show the route through the navigation system built into the app. Overall, we want to keep cyclists safe and get them to map out their route before so they can see how safe it is.

Initially, we had a call and talked about the project. After a couple of meetings, we decided to go with them. They did a feasibility analysis and looked at the technology to ensure our app could be created. Some weeks later, we started developing the app with them.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with at least three people; they’re a great team. Rishav (Business Analyst) is our account manager, and Hitesh (Director) handles the higher-level strategy. We also have access to the development team.

How did you come to work with Tech Exactly?

We found them online. We talked to about 10 different developers and decided to go with Tech Exactly because they were professional and upfront about the cost. They were very transparent.

We’ve spent over $50,000.

We started working with them in May 2022, and our relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re building the app in phases; we just finished the first phase. So far, the beta phase is going really well. We can’t provide any metrics yet, but the data is excellent. Moreover, the app’s performance is great — it’s fast, and we’re not experiencing bugs.

Also, the team is very presentable, professional, and available. With this type of engagement, we often fear that we might be one of the hundreds of projects, and we don’t feel that way at all. Tech Exactly is very responsive; they’re a great team to work with.

How did Tech Exactly perform from a project management standpoint?

One of their biggest qualities is transparency. From the beginning, they’ve told us how long they’d take to finish a task, and they do it on time. We meet regularly, and they follow up and don’t miss deadlines.

They’ve used Figma for a demo and Basecamp for project management. We communicate through Basecamp, WhatsApp, phone calls, and emails.

What did you find most impressive about them?

First of all, their price is reasonable. When we spoke to other places, many companies were inexperienced or way too expensive. Also, Tech Exactly has completed phase one, and their design capabilities are excellent. The app looks good esthetically, and everything they’ve done from coding and UX/UI standpoints is good — their technical experience shows through their work.

Additionally, they tell us when they have issues or things are going well. Overall, the relationship is good. We want to work with someone passionate about what they do instead of someone that’s sluggish and doesn’t meet deadlines. Tech Exactly is transparent and responsive, and we enjoy working with them on the project. Overall, they have many good things that not every company possesses.

I can’t think of anything; they’ve done an excellent job.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Don’t waste your time with a company that will charge you $300,000 or someone who’ll charge you $10 an hour; it won’t come out well. Tech Exactly is reasonably priced, which makes it easier for businesses to choose them. However, at the end of the day, it’s all about their work, and the quality of their work is excellent. Their relational skills are fantastic — we value our relationship with them. All in all, you can’t go wrong with them as your partner.

What challenge were you trying to address with Tech Exactly?

We needed someone to build a web app for us to be able to communicate.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, I told Tech Exactly what I wanted from the web app and provided them with documentation beforehand. We then broke down the project into three sprints, explaining what each one would consist of for me to approve. After my approval, they went through the development process until completion.

Our web app has a chat option and a search engine. Users can register as either players or clubs, and through the app, these clubs are able to connect with other clubs or players to meet and sign contracts.

Players must fill in a questionnaire and their resume whenever they sign up. Based on a subscription model, clubs can register and see players, search for the one they want, and chat with them through the chat functionality.

What is the team composition?

Around 4–5 people from Tech Exactly worked with us on the project. I worked directly with the CEO, who then assigned a project manager to our account. Additionally, there were developers involved throughout the project.

I found them online. I also had interviews with other companies, but Tech Exactly demonstrated a higher level of communication. They followed up constantly and were more cost-effective than the others.

I spent about $7,000 AUD (approximately $4,800 USD).

Tech Exactly delivered what I asked for within my budget. As the quality of their work was very good, the value for the money we got was the real success of our engagement. Furthermore, the product they created has helped my business succeed. Now, we have around 125 players and 27 clubs registered on our platform.

Tech Exactly’s project management was on point, meeting deadlines. We communicated through email and Basecamp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Tech Exactly was very good at delivering on time and at a good cost.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be great if Tech Exactly offered a 24-hour service. Their communication was good, but due to the time difference, we sometimes had meetings at 7 p.m. our time, which was past our workday.

Go for it! They’re very good and offer an unbeatable competitive price. Tell them exactly what you want, and they will deliver; they do what they promise.

What challenge were you trying to address with Tech Exactly?

I started developing an iOS app, but I needed an experienced developer or team to help me develop the Android version.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We discussed the iOS version of the app I had already developed and gave them access to the latest build on TestFlight. Then, I provided an extensive sketch file with user flows, screens, designs, and branding.

Since then, they’ve handled the game creation process, invitations, user authentication, pairing, connecting the frontend to the backend, and making sure the store functions properly and securely.

The app is an interactive gaming service. Users can upload videos, pictures, and audio recordings to create games where they will become communal and sharable. The games will be shared via private links. There will also be in-app purchases available.

What is the team composition?

I work with roughly six people, including Hitesh (Founder), Priyanka (Project Manager), and developers.

I researched individual developers and teams. I felt most confident with Tech Exactly’s plan for the project, as well as their pricing and timeline.

We’ve spent $30,000–$40,000 is the contracted price for the project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together around January 2021 and the project is ongoing. My app will launch this summer at which point we will revise our contract to reflect the evolving requirements and establish a long term relationship.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We haven’t completed the app, so I don’t have metrics to share, but the quality of their work is good. I believe that Tech Exactly’s team has all the ingredients they need to meet our requirements. They’ve earned my trust by taking the time to understand my ideas for the app. Along the way, their effective problem-solving skills has helped them overcome hurdles.

How did Tech Exactly perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re extremely organized when it comes to management and communication. They set up a Google drive for sharing documentation, graphics, sketch files, etc. We communicate via Skype and Slack, meeting 2-3 times per week. They respect and value my time, money and success just as much as their own and work diligently to understand my project so they can set a trajectory that is beneficial for everybody involved. They are transparent, which makes it easy for me to have hard conversations with them when needed. Their development process is surprisingly fast-paced.     

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team is attentive — they listen as much as they speak. They’re willing to explore different perspectives, ideas, and angles to prevent me from getting tunnel-vision on certain things.

Unlike other partners I’ve worked with in the past, they are not condescending. Their customer service and adaptability are quite impressive. It feels like we are partners working together towards a goal rather than an external vendor.

Before working with anyone, it helps to gather as many resources as you can to solidify your idea. This allows other stakeholders to pick your brain and vice versa. If you like to work closely with your development team, this is a good company for you.
