Our mobile app is a daily-use tool for our employees. It’s especially crucial for those in the field that provide services for property damage restoration and temporary climate solutions. We originally needed help to develop new features for our existing Windows app, but eventually decided to make a new app that would run on Windows, iOS, and Android.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to ensure that we have a stable, fully-functional, and intuitive application.

Our partnership began with a call to talk about our business, our needs, and a presentation of our existing app. During the primary stage of the project, Team Rainmakers worked on coding the frontend of the app in Xamarin. They also collaborated directly with our internal development team to utilize backend API and make sure that everything was cohesive. After the initial development phase, we reviewed their work and gave our feedback.

We worked with two people from their team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Team Rainmakers fixed all bugs in the app. It now works on all platforms without any problems.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication was via Skype and email, and they were quick to respond. While all of the documentation of our original app was in Danish, Team Rainmakers works a lot with Danish customers so it wasn’t a problem. 

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their team was very flexible. They knew what to do, even when dealing with complicated tasks and a lack of proper documentation. I had no issues with their work.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Sometimes I wanted to get the results faster.

We needed Team Rainmakers to create a CRM platform to manage work in our school to further development of business and its functionality.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to create a system that covered a wide range of our needs, from accounting to advertising, with the possibility to add features at any time. The market is competitive, and it is essential that we can implement our ideas as soon as possible to stay ahead in the industry.

How did you select this vendor?

Being a native of Ukraine, I know they’re excellent and inexpensive digital and development specialists available offshore. I asked colleagues if they had any recommendations and Team Rainmakers was mentioned numerous times.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

Team Rainmakers developed our CRM platform with a UX/UI that new employees can operate after a short training. Their team handles everything, from development, requirement management, and QA. They finished a portion of the work and will complete the platform at a later date.

What was the team composition?

We worked with a project manager, six developers and programmers.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Their team helped implement a software product that affected the idea of business development. The first portion of the work was done on time and within budget — our employees have begun using the software, which has dramatically reduced time expenditures.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The process has been incredibly smooth. I had scheduled meetings frequently where I always had my questions effectively answered.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Because their effectiveness during the process has been excellent, I am incredibly pleased with how their team seeks my opinion and evaluates our needs to optimize the flow of the project. Team Rainmakers is full of exceptional employees and deserves my recommendation.

We're the Danish branch of a global company that handles water and fire damage restoration. We needed to transition our employees from manual task reporting to a modern, online solution.

The goal was to move our employees' daily work onto a seamless online platform.

How did you select this vendor?

We had several vendors on the table. It wasn't difficult to choose TRM because they were the best in every category. The board of the company and the other parties involved agreed that TRM was the way to go.

They've produced the apps from scratch. The backend was already running, so they focused on usability and accessibility. We gave them documentation, including feature and functionality descriptions, and chose a technology that aligned with our general business strategy.

They deliver in milestones so that we can implement smaller elements and scale up once all the features are ready. The app is still in development as new ideas emerge. 

What was the team composition?

TRM was completely responsible for choosing the project team, but we have only positive feedback for the members and their skills. The size ranges from one to five and consists only of the necessary resources.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The workers that use the app daily come from a non-technical background, but have switched from pen and paper to the mobile app in three months with only one education session. That's because of of the usability logic that TRM placed in the app.

Communicating with TRM Solutions is smooth, whether by phone, by mail, or in person. They provide priceless feedback in no time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

All TRM Solutions employees are personally committed, which gives their deliveries quality.

We are a service company that operates in the Western part of Ukraine. We provide full-cycle support for people that purchase motor vehicles abroad (EU and US) and import them to Ukraine. This support includes purchase, delivery, and customs declaration services.

We approached TRM solutions for website design, development and hosting services.

What were your goals for this project?

We were looking to create an informative website about the services our company provides. We also wanted to connect potential customers with our managers via contact form.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We were considering a service company that we’d worked with in the past, but we decided to work with TRM to compare their quality of customer service and team dynamic.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

We started with visual design. They used a freelance designer who worked as needed, but the work was lacking a few elements with regard to UX perspective and responsive behavior of suggested visual elements. The frontend team then started an HTML prototype, and they were extremely efficient. We’ve had two rounds of user acceptance testing (UAT) thus far.

Our requirements for the site were very precise, which led to a smooth development process. I was really impressed with the back-end solution that the TRM team suggested, which is called Umbraco. It’s a very flexible and powerful CMS that met our needs perfectly. We hosted the site on their servers, and launch was incredibly smooth. We’ve also released the second iteration of the site, which was enhanced with improvements to responsiveness, multilingual accessibility, and custom content management solutions for the new pages.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We haven't started promoting the website yet, so I don't have any analytics to share as of yet. However, we now have a solid and accurate representation of our services online.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We were pleased with the development process, the speed of delivery, and the efficacy of communication. We have a task-tracker and milestone planning organized by a project manager on GitHub, and communicate primarily on Slack.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They’re a young and dynamic team that helps their customers find solutions to complex problems at an affordable price. Even with some scope creep, they’ve maintained their initial quote. Their level of involvement and results-based approach were key to the project’s success.

Are there any areas where they can improve?

They should hire an internal designer and improve their frontend strategy according to best practices. They could also have more accurate estimates and improved risk management.

I work for an IT consulting firm that provides various services and customized products compatible with Atlassian software.

We needed developers to build an X Platform app that controlled communication between customers, developers, and account management. The X Platform engine would link information from enterprise resource planning (ERP) and other team management platforms, presenting it on various devices.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to optimize communication and information flow between a geographically-dispersed community. We sought to limit the processing time for customer-driven requests while assuring instantaneous communication and information flow/feedback.

How did you select this vendor?

I had previously served as a development manager for some of their developers. Based on my personal experience of their commitment and professionalism, I selected TRM Solutions for our project.

Describe the project in detail.

TRM Solutions built an X Platform app to facilitate communication and foster an interactive dynamic between customers, developers, and project managers. With no more than a concept, knowledge of the current APIs, and a few wireframes, we approached their team to discuss potential solutions to streamline our communications. The team developed a detailed proposal for the technology, which included a highly-customizable UI. Once the proposal was approved, they developed the app.

We worked with a lead backend developer, frontend developer, and manual tester.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The results far exceeded my expectations. Information is available and easily shared on virtually any platform. In terms of communication, feedback and approvals occur instantaneously.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They were extremely efficient and worked effectively. Having worked with the core team previously, it was easy to collaborate with them. We met bi-weekly to critique demos and collect feedback.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Beyond their technical mastery, we appreciated their customer-centric approach. Their English fluency and impeccable interpersonal skills allowed for easy cooperation.

What were your goals for this project?

Our cooperation was build on fast and responsive consultancy, which helped our QA Engineers to understand the product under test. The goal was to deliver the product in respected timeframes.

How did you select this vendor?

When our company was hired to test the products, we had a lot of questions of how should it work and what will be the correct behavior which will meet the real customers needs. The only way was to start working with the guys, that have enough experience in such kind of projects. And TRM Solutions were the correct guys, based on the feedbacks.

1. Within three months with help of TRM Solutions consultant, we delivered the marketing agency platform to customers. 2. For about 5 months we've been working together on a web platform for telecom provider.

Team Rainmaker's consultant is a really good guy, who helps us to find solutions/answers on our technology related questions, related to the projects, we've been working for.

I was impressed with a professional approach of the consultant and how responsive he is.
