This included new development in C# and Xamarin, new database development in SQL, and significant use of testing tools like Selenium. The primary deliverable was a consumer facing video conferencing application consume via web and native mobile devices. As core team members they contributed to all coding and testing activities.

The application was launched and continues to earn revenue from consumers. The platform continues to be extended.

They were engaged primarily as individual contributors which means they were evaluated more on individual performance than team objectives. Their contributors were high quality, responsive, conducted themselves professionally, and in other respects were treated like and performed as well or better than other direct-employed resources. Delivery concerns were promptly addressed, and they adapted to our rapidly changing needs gracefully and without complaint.

Our developer was easy to talk with & when working was always available on the companies MS Teams, working company hours too. We would have weekly catchups to review process & outstanding. However unless the tasks were missing documentation they were able to work without intervention

We needed help building and launching our AI voice platform.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We brought on two engineers from Talmatic to help us build and launch our AI voice platform. The engineers were embedded in our team and performed backend and AWS infrastructure development. The main deliverable was to stand up an MVP product. The team developed the backend to support AI voice agents using a pipeline stack of speech-to-text, large language models, and text-to-speech.

We worked with two teammates from Talmatic.

I had a prior relationship with Talmatic from a previous company I cofounded. We chose Talmatic over other options because of their cost and turnaround time to provide developers.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from September 2024–March 2025.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Thanks to Talmatic’s work, we were able to launch our MVP. We were able to demo the product to customers and sign some pilot agreements. The feedback was positive, so we moved forward with some early deployments.

How did Talmatic perform from a project management standpoint?

We embedded Talmatic engineers on our team and handled our own project management. Our infrastructure engineer was drafted for military service, and Talmatic was able to quickly find a replacement. There was minimal impact on the project timeline, perhaps 2–3 weeks to onboard the replacement engineer. Talmatic was communicative throughout the process, and we had no issues. We communicated via email and video calls.
