I’m the CFO of an enterprise tech consulting company. We focus on multiple industries, connecting people so that they can work on projects cheaply and efficiently.

What challenge were you trying to address with SyS Creations?

We were exploring robotic process automation (RPA) for a manufacturing plant and wanted to find a vendor to outsource the project to.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement? 

In a manufacturing plant, there are several invoices going between customers and companies as well as companies and other vendors. This requires multiple full-time employees to manage and process all of the invoices. The goal was to save time and money in addition to promoting efficiency by using RPA.

SyS Creations came up with a solution to manage those invoices. We provided the requirements, and they completed the project within 20 days.

A business colleague had recommended SyS Creations. When we talked to them, we saw how confident they were in their ability to complete the project. They promised to deliver faster than our two-month timeline, so we chose them.

It’s somewhere between $75,000–$100,000 CAD (approximately $57,300–$76,500 USD) for that project.

What is the status of this engagement?

They started the project in October 2019 and found a solution within 20 days. Now, they’re working on other projects with us.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their ongoing maintenance is well-coordinated. Because they’re processing invoices, they need to make sure that everything’s up and running. Any issues that arise need to be fixed immediately. 

SyS Creations offers 24/7 troubleshooting, so all it takes is a quick email for them to resolve the issues. We’re so satisfied and happy with their work that we’ve continued to work with them, now.

How did SyS Creations perform from a project management standpoint?

It’s very organized — the team constantly gives us updates on project progress over phone calls. They know when something needs to be completed and when things aren’t on track. That makes it easy to communicate with them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What stands out about their team was how reliable they are as well as their accountability. Everything has been completed on or ahead of time, and they’re responsible about the quality of their work. Despite the short time frame, they didn’t sacrify any quality in the final solution.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything off the top of my head. Working with them was very smooth.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you tell them what you want, they’ll be able to execute and improve on your idea. They have a lot of knowledge about RPA, so their inputs have provided good additions to our project without deviating from our end goal.

We were searching out support for existing Wi-Fi systems and wanted to design new IT infrastructure in our buildings.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They asked questions about our business and what we were looking for in the project. From there, they put together a proposal and estimate that addressed our needs. Most of the Wi-Fi management can be done remotely. They often help us troubleshoot and talk to our on-site staff through problems.  

For their on-site work, they set up the network security and structure for our new building. Another building of ours needed replacement Wi-Fi. After assessing the state of the building’s system, they made recommendations and handled physical installations.

I work directly with two of their team members.

They do the IT work for a pharmacy that we’re connected with. We got familiar with their team through that connection.

We’ve been working with them since June 2016.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’re great at problem-solving. When there is an issue with Wi-Fi in one of our homes, we can count on them to get to the bottom of the issue. Sometimes, it relates to larger network issues. They’re adaptable to the network equipment we have in place and really understand the industry.

They’re proactive in preventing problems without being too pushy. We communicate through phone, text, and email. They respond quickly and are strong project managers. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their team is smart, kind, and great at what they do. I appreciate their methodical approach. Their understanding and supportive demeanor paired with their strong troubleshooting skills are really helpful.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’m happy with their services. All of our road bumps have been small.

I’m a chief quality and clinical services officer at Silver Fox Pharmacy. We are a senior care pharmacy that services about 60 care sites.

We needed an IT solution for client-facing and internal operations. They specialize in healthcare IT development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our pharmacy required a solution for client-facing and internal operations. We needed their expertise to provide development so that we could provide services for our clients. They dealt with document sharing, managing access to files, and securely transmitting sensitive data and file hosting.

They also developed a clinical decision tool to manage medications. We’re also working on an electronic medication incident reporting tool. There are many requirements due to regulation, so we had to develop the workflow correctly.

I have one or two points of contact.

I got recommended to them through my existing network.

We spent about $200,000.

The project began in January 2017 and is ongoing.

The project was successful. They responded quickly with requests and bug fixes. It was a really good experience, which is why we continue to work with them.

I’m not so familiar with IT and project management, so it was a learning curve to figure how to put in requests that make sense.

I’m the director of client services for Writi. We’re a collaboration portal for the healthcare sector, focusing on pharmacies, nurses, and physicians that specialize in long term care within retirement homes.

When we first started, all we had was the idea. We reached out to SyS Creations to help us build our software.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They took down all of our requirements and executed based on the specifications we laid out. From start to scratch, they developed our whole platform. They continue to work with us to add new modules to the platform and testing them for us. For example, they’ve helped us create the virtual visit module, to enable physicians working from home to communicate with nurses in retirement homes. 

What is the team composition?

I actively work with 4–5 people from their team. I give all my information to Parth (CEO) and there are others in the background who support the project.

I researched online and saw that they have a lot of experience working within the healthcare sector. I reached out, asked how possible they thought our idea was, and felt comfortable with how skilled their developers were. I took a shot in the dark and it truly paid off for us.

We started working together in January 2019 and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our goal was to be live within six months, and not only did they achieve that, but they got it done within four months. The quality of their work has been fantastic. Their work speaks for itself but my clients love the system and it’s amazing. 

It’s been deployed to over 10 homes and we’re still in talks to get it into even more. I get several emails a day inquiring about the system, so it’s great. People in the industry want to get their hands on our product, which is due to SyS Creations work. 

How did SyS Creations perform from a project management standpoint?

They were a pleasure to work with. Parth and I speak almost every day, giving and receiving feedback and updates on the project. Their communication is perfect, and most of our deadlines have been met. When they haven’t been able to meet one, it’s understandable with the technology we’re working with. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their project management is their greatest strength. They can manage, develop, and provide a final product in a great, timely manner. Other companies are not able to provide the level of service SyS Creations does. Everything we need, they’re able to provide it.
