We needed a tool to automate and simplify all of our internal processes. We had spreadsheets running our employee hours, payroll, and inventory (almost all of our internal management). They made a dashboard that gives us better visibility on our spending and tracking.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We measured metrics by the number of hours saved each week. Instead of spending 10-15 hours manually logging and calculating, the dashboard automatically ran calculations and showed essential information at a glance. This helped me to spend only 30 minutes to 1 hour a week tracking everything.

They observed and understood our workflow, then crafted a prototype for us to review. We iterated on the prototype together until it fit our needs. After, they developed the app in code. They delivered on time and were very receptive to changes, encouraging us to poke holes in the prototype and end product.

The scope of work involves a thorough review of a website and its code, in addition to implementing crucial and necessary revisions for optimizng performance. This will include an upgrade for the front end code, servers, creating efficient databases, and enhancing the overall website performance.

YThe objective is to achieve an efficient and faster website, ultimately improving our in-house staff and user experience. A huge focus will be on code optimization and product management to enhance our digital webapp for our employees.

Synq Labs helped us expedite the development and delivery of new features for our construction management software. They were instrumental in pushing the product forwars, providing feedback, and guiding the team on how to manage the technical load. They were great with collaborating with our internal team and other developers.

 They built out our entire forms module, which included change orders, RFIs, purchase orders, and submittals.

I’m the technical director at Square Digital Inc., an Marketing/IT services agency. We provide web design, development, and marketing services for startups and small businesses, delivering big agency results efficiently and affordably without the typical overhead.

What challenge were you trying to address with SYNQ Labs Inc.?

As our projects scaled, delivering results within a manageable timeframe became increasingly important. To maintain momentum and meet growing demands, we engaged local talent to help drive development forward.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

SYNQ Labs Inc. has been working on backend implementations and UI requirements, building out the UI interface. Their work includes web API logic and implementations, database queries, building components and pages, and adding integrations with the backend and frontend.
