They would exceed our expectations only if the advice was consistently given ahead of when it was required - this would allow us to prepare even better for what was an exploratory project for us.

For this project, Synebo was hired to migrate the client's old CRM system to Salesforce Finance Cloud and develop a comprehensive Salesforce solution. Their work included data migration, system integration, user training, and thorough testing. Since data retention and transformation are extremely important during migration, the Synebo development team used Skyvia as a backup platform for the client’s data, ensuring secure and reliable data management. 

Additionally, they conducted a detailed business requirements analysis and customized Salesforce to fit the client's needs.  

Synebo's team delivered a fully operational Salesforce CRM system tailored to the client's business requirements, along with detailed training materials and user documentation.

The team worked to create a Salesforce managed package which would enable full integration of our standalone platform capabilities into our clients' Salesforce to help streamline their workflow. They helped design the package, worked with us to create the JSONs needed for data transfer, and assisted us in all things Salesforce that were new to us, as we had never developed for SF before.

We have daily meetings to make sure that we are aligned. We work in biweekly sprints and create goals for each biweekly demo. We have milestones that we define and make sure that the team is aligned and work is moving according to plan.

The team is very organized. They easily and happily worked with us on our project management platforms (Slack, ClickUp, Confluence) and were visible and attended meetings, as needed. They were usually on time with deliverables and if not, were able to raise flags when needed. They were very responsive and when needed, worked above and beyond what was expected to help with issues out of standard work hours. The team is a delight to work with.

I’m a manager at a cloud-based consultancy company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Synebo?

We needed development assistance with projects that our in-house team couldn’t fulfill. At the same time, these projects didn’t require enough working hours to justify hiring a direct team.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Synebo provides us with outsourced remote developers and engineers that support our in-house delivery services team. Synebo’s team performs software development and implementation tasks heavily focused on the cloud sphere. They work mainly with Salesforce and Conga. 

When Synebo starts working on a project, we usually already have the project on the flight. Synebo’s team works alongside our team of solution architects and has worked on several projects, including projects around administrative and data work. One of Synebo’s developers has assisted with our largest account, which requires a team of 4–5 developers for that project.

For large projects, we request Synebo to interview teammates before bringing them on the project. Once they pass our interview process, we integrate them into the team.

We've worked with seven teammates from Synebo, including two project managers, two developers, and three engineers of various levels.

How did you come to work with Synebo?

I’m unsure how we initially contacted Synebo since I wasn’t involved in the hiring process.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $10,000–$15,000 with Synebo. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Synebo in October 2022, and our partnership is ongoing. Although we don’t have active projects at the moment, we plan to work with them again.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our in-house development team has provided excellent feedback about Synebo’s teammates, who have integrated effectively into our team. Synebo meets our expectations, and the only issue we’ve had was due to our DevOps process that we were still establishing. They were open and understanding when we talked to Synebo about the situation. As soon as we had the method established, they adopted it immediately. 

How did Synebo perform from a project management standpoint?

Synebo does a great job in terms of project management. They report the hours they track in their system so that I can contrast them with our system’s register. The only issue we’ve had was due to an internal problem where we failed to correctly forecast the necessary hours for a project. We discussed the situation with Synebo, and they understood. 

Moreover, Synebo’s team is responsive and raises questions when they don’t understand a task, which we highly value. They work autonomously and immediately start working on a task when we open a ClickUp ticket — they aren’t just waiting for indications.

Synebo’s team communicates effectively through email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom. They’ve adapted to our tools to collaborate with us.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m most impressed by Synebo’s project managers’ efficiency. When we give them our expectations for a project, they execute strictly based on that and keep a lean process, which we appreciate. 

Additionally, Synebo’s developers jump on a task as soon as we assign it and send questions immediately. We really appreciate this since we’re in different time zones, and by the time we start working on a project, we already have questions from Synebo’s team waiting to be answered. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

My only constructive feedback would be aligning the skill levels of their resources with the appropriate project. At one point, we noticed that we had different understandings of our developers’ specialty levels — what we considered a senior developer was different than what Synebo considered a senior developer. We resolved this through our interview process to ensure we assigned the appropriate teammate to each project.  

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend reaching out to Synebo’s project manager because they’re assigned to manage their resources and support you as a client. Synebo provides a good work structure, and you need to take advantage of that structure.

The Synebo team allocated a dedicated remote team leader, the remote work wasn't an issue since we had daily statuses to monitor the progress, the TL was always approachable and eventually, the Synebo team delivered quality results quickly and ahead of schedule.

The customizations and coding were by the exact planned design, the quality was very good, any further corrective iterations were done efficiently to a good outcome. The Synebo TL was service-oriented and provided outstanding deliverables.

Very effective, we had daily statuses and from time to time corrective iterations, the collaboration was smooth although the long distance.

All the necessary functionalities were delivered on time and were high-quality. Client was happy about the person. Sometimes, because the consultant was not there from the beginning, he lacked all knowledge, but this was none of his issue.

Tailored-ICS offers Salesforce Implementation and Consultancy Services. We are located in the Netherlands, but due to the (Salesforce) Cloud we work for a number of customers within Europe. I am the founder and managing partner of the company and besides managing the company, I am also actively involved in some of our customer projects.

Tailored-ICS's other managing partner has been in contact with Synebo for a while, hence we contacted them to see if they were able to provide us with the needed development skills.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

Based on the requirements we collected before and during the project, Synebo provided the development work for that. This included Apex triggers, Apex classes, Lightning pages, Lightning Components, setting up the Customer Community and providing additional pages and mapping.

What was the team composition?

It was a team of 2 till 3 experienced developers that were involved in the project besides our own team. In order to streamline the planning and projectmeetings, they added a Synebo project lead who took care of the work distribution within Synebo.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The impact for our customer is that their 'customers' can fulfill a request online via the Customer Community in a user-friendly manner. This saves them time as before this was put in manually or via a webpage. The webpage was not user friendly as their customer could not save any request, so if additional information needed to be gathered they had to fill out the form several times. By starting a new form every time, this also resulted in a lot of uncompleted requests that had to be handled by our customer.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project was managed by Tailored-ICS, however as mentioned before Synebo also provided a project manager to streamline the work distribution, planning, and communication on their side, which worked very pleasantly.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was impressed by their ability to provide the right skills at the right time and the manner in which they handled any change during the project.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There are not many areas that they need to improve, the only things we experienced that maybe could be improved is the way they estimate the work (understanding of the high-level processes at the start) and how to adjust to work together. This last point is I believe also due to us, as this was our first project together it is always hard to know in which manner it is best to provide the information. Once we reached that common ground, it worked out very well.

I am the CEO of Pharmbills which is an organization that hires teams remotely in Ukraine for American companies.

What challenge were you trying to address with Synebo?

We were looking for someone to automate our payroll, hiring, and HR objectives for us.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’ve worked on our Salesforce integrations portal interface to make sure anything we need on the payroll and HR front is being met. There’s a lot of development going on there. It’s a multi-stack project which began a while ago and is still ongoing.

The next sprint should be finished in August. Everything is being built on Salesforce, but I am not sure which technologies they are using.

What is the team composition?

We work with four people including the CEO, a PM, and a developer.

How did you come to work with Synebo?

They are located in the same city where we are. I was introduced to the CEO at an event. We exchanged different challenges that we are facing, and they said they could help us with our challenge.

They first started with a trial and created a mini product for something small that we needed, and then we engaged with them in a full contract.

We began working with them in February of 2017 and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They met deadlines and the level of QA. Their team checked for errors even before we even started testing so when we were testing, the changes were really minor. They have over-delivered in whatever they promised us at every stage.

We use the product daily. It’s our design, but like in any company, there are people who are happier and those who are less happy. The transition from the tool we were using before wasn’t easy because people are used to whatever they are used to.

How did Synebo perform from a project management standpoint?

We have internal project management tools. In terms of communication, we use the phone and Skype.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They overdeliver, which is impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes they have more of a demand than they can accommodate. I think they have improved in the last year on it.
