I needed an app to bridge my company and our agencies.

I knew them well and chose them because of their supportive staff, previous track record, and timely delivery.

We began working together in January 2018, and the work is still ongoing. We’ve finished the wireframes and prototype, and are currently in the development stage.

What was the team composition?

They have a team of four or five. We also communicate with a dedicated sales consultant almost daily.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The measure of success is how closely the prototype meets our requirements. I’m happy with how the app looks and functions. We receive mostly positive feedback from people who interact with it. Everyone has different expectations and opinions, but I’m satisfied.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They keep me on track and ensure that we stick to deadlines and milestones. We receive almost daily progress updates through WhatsApp and have weekly phone calls to discuss issues. They've also set up a portal that we use to interact with and provide feedback on the prototype.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They're patient with their clients and see frustrations as learning opportunities. I'm detail-oriented, so I had specific directions during the prototyping stage. They handled my feedback well and delivered the results I needed.

It’s difficult to find developers who are so dedicated to delivering a perfect product. Most developers give customers an exact number of samples, and charge more if those don’t match the requirements, but they quickly amend anything that doesn't meet my expectations.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I've given them a lot of guidance and feedback. Maybe we didn't communicate at the beginning, or maybe we approached it from different points of view. If the issue stemmed from different points of view, they should have explained as early as possible whether each task was feasible. My advice would be to complete the initial planning and design before engaging them.
