Please describe your company and your position there.

The Archive of the Institute of National Remembrance collects, elaborates on, and discloses materials related to the history of the Polish Nation between 1917 and 1990, i.e. mainly under German and Soviet occupation, and during the communist period. The Institute’s collection contains files acquired from the communist organs of repression and documents of the Second World War occupational authorities.

They are now accessible to the victims of repression, journalists, researchers and public institutions. The IPN’s archival resources amount to over 93 km of files.

For what projects/services did your company hire Superskrypt?

The main task was to create a website which convinced users to share with the Archive family heirloom related to the history of the Polish Nation. Process of submitting documents from the user to the Archives is a bit complex. Superskrypt also created a step-by-step interactive guide.

The company's previous work was the deciding factor

The stages of the project are as follows: analysis, concept creation, UX/UI project, development, copyright. The technology on which the project was based was Wordpress.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with 6 people: two developers, designer, content creator and project manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

It's too early for that, but what we are seeing now is very promising

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication was efficient. We had regular online meetings and contact via e-mail to discuss the next stages of the project. During the entire cooperation, the Superskrypt operated with the highest standards of professionalism and communication. All work was performed on time and with the utmost diligence. The scope of the work was approached with reliability and efficiency, which proved to be of additional value to the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was stunned by the quality in general and especially by the understanding of our needs and difficulties. Their creativity is amazing! ! The approach to the client is also impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I don't think so....

For what projects/services did your company hire Superskrypt, and what were your goals?

We hired Superskrypt to design and implement a new basic website for Nussknacker.io. It was a new product, so the main goal was to help customers understand what it is and direct them to more in-depth resources.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had a great experience working with Superskrypt's owners in the past, so they were a natural choice for us.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The first deliverable was a key visual, which Superskrypt created after in-depth discussions about the product, our goals and needs. Next we went through a few iterations of perfecting the design of the website, including a new logo they also designed for us. At the same time they started working on the implementation. That was an iterative process which in a few weeks led to Superskrypt delivering a version we were happy with and that was deployed to production.

Two designers and two web developers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

It was the first proper website for Nussknacker.io, so we don't have a baseline to compare with. Our subjective opinion is that we got a clean, well design website, that works as expected (some minor bugs were fixed after the website had been launched).

We had regular face-to-face and on-line meetings in the first phase of the project (focused on design). In the second phase (implementation) we switched to mostly e-mail and phone communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were most impressed with the quality of the design, attention to detail, and persistence in defending their vision.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

After a year of living with the website we maybe feel a bit restricted by its internal design. But that may be because we have the skills to tweak a web page. For someone who doesn't and just wants to use what they get out of the box, it might be perfect.

I’m the deputy head of strategy development for the European Network Remembrance and Solidarity, an international cultural institute.

What challenge were you trying to address with Superskrypt?

We needed help with website design and development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Superskrypt handled everything about the website’s design and development, including the UX/UI design. First, they conducted a workshop for us to discuss how they’d create everything. We talked about the workflow, and they asked about our expectations. They built the site on WordPress.

Later on, we decided to cooperate with them on another project. The new website was for the Statistics and Catastrophe project.

What is the team composition?

We were in direct contact with the project manager.

How did you come to work with Superskrypt?

When I started working in this company, they were already a service provider.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started the partnership in September 2021 and cooperated until March 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The website they built is up and running. Moreover, the site is clear and interactive. People that have used our website have enjoyed their experience, and they can easily understand it.

How did Superskrypt perform from a project management standpoint?

They met all deadlines and sometimes even exceeded them. Superskrypt’s team was fast and responsive. They understood our point of view and way of thinking, so it was a good cooperation.

We communicated daily through emails. Additionally, we were both located in Warsaw, so we met 2–3 times in person.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The communication and the level of professionalism were outstanding. They treated the project as their own.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there weren’t any areas for improvement.

Any advice for potential customers?

Start with a workshop to help you know each other and discuss your shared goals.

I'm a full-time researcher at a public institution located in Bordeaux France.

What challenge were you trying to address with Superskrypt?

I hired them to design and update my professional website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

There were three phases of the project. First, they looked at the previous webpage and saw some ways of improving it. They then proposed the new version and the third phase was to make it into a final production website.

Our WordPress site was from scratch, and there were features that required a manager so that I could easily manage my publications and support my blog. There were also some pictures for the whole website.

What is the team composition?

I worked with two people from Superskrypt, a graphical designer and a web developer.

How did you come to work with Superskrypt?

I knew them personally through the wife of a colleague of mine. I had worked with them in the past on different projects, so I contacted them again naturally.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about €8,000 (approximately $8,400 USD) on the entire project.

What is the status of the engagement?

Our partnership ran from December 2021–March 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I was happy with the website they created because it functions perfectly and meets my expectations. On top of that, they taught me how to update it. I also like the platform's design. However, it would be hard to measure success because the website had just recently been built.

How did Superskrypt perform from a project management standpoint?

They performed very well. I was informed the whole way about how things would work and we validated different steps through Zoom calls and emails.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their design work was very impressive and their drawings were the most pleasing features on the website.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. Their work was excellent.

Any advice for potential customers?

You have to be clear from the beginning about what you expect because web development can go in many different ways.

The Polish Investment and Trade Agency is a government agency responsible for promoting Poland abroad, especially the economy. We were responsible for the communication activities regarding the Polish presence at Expo 2020 Dubai. I was the PR coordinator and manager of the project; my responsibility was to coordinate the cooperation with Superskrypt.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Superskrypt?

The main task was to combine our goals and develop a promotional and informational website regarding the Polish presence at Expo 2020 Dubai. First, our goal was to attract Expo guests and present all the events and exhibitions of the pavilion. The second goal was to offer business opportunities to conduct relations between Polish and Arab companies. The third goal was to present Poland as an attractive country in business, tourism, and economy.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Superskrypt designed the website from scratch. An important thing was the website's visual elements referring to the architectural materials in the pavilion. We initially provided them with the required documentation, and they were in charge of designing the website in a complex way.

They took care of the concept, content structure, visual concept, coding, and maintenance. However, they didn’t take any additional promotional activities.

What is the team composition?

We worked with three people. Our main points of contact were the top project managers.

How did you come to work with Superskrypt?

We made a bid for tenders, and they were one of the ten companies presenting their offer. They won because they had the best quality of all. The deciding factor was the quality of the offer, but we also awarded them 40% of the marks for the price, 30% for the experience of the team portfolio, and 30% for the concept for the website.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $120,000 on the project.

What is the status of the engagement?

We started our collaboration in July 2021 and ended the engagement in December 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our visitors received the website very well, and it became an online version of our pavilion space, reflecting the experience of the pavilion. Also, the website contributed to pavilion attractiveness, and we won an award in turn.

On the other hand, the website was visited by 1.5 million people during the six months of the exhibition. In general, the website was a crucial element of the whole project's success.

How did Superskrypt perform from a project management standpoint?

The best word to describe the management was a partnership. They were efficient and responsive to our needs. Also, they were excellent contractors and partners for the task. What was very important was the ability to adjust to the challenging schedule and accomplish multiple goals in a short time.

We communicated through Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their creativity and ability to adjust to the specific customer needs were admirable.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I wouldn't have changed anything about this collaboration.

Trust them to do their work well; they're professionals.

The Centre for Polish-Russian Dialogue is a state legal person supervised by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland. Our mission is to initiate and support projects undertaken in Poland and dedicated to improving dialogue between the two countries.

For what projects/services did your company hire Superskrypt?

To design the website from the conceptual, programming and graphic side.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

A key factor was experience in the education and museum sector and in preparing this type of projects.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

The stages of the project are as follows: analysis, concept creation, UX/UI project, development, content creation. The technology on which the project was based was Wordpress, animations and interactive visualisations of 3D objects were also an important element. Website "Katyn Pro Memoria” offering a virtual walk around the Katyn necropolises. After all, the Katyn Massacre is not only about Katyn, but also Bykivnia, Kharkiv, Mednoe and other burial places which we do not know yet. The three-stage narrative enables readers to feel the atmosphere of the place, immerse themselves in the symbolic Katyn forest and take a walk to rediscover the events and places known from the tragic pages of Polish history.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The aim was to encourage as many people to go online to light the 22,000 symbolic lights of remembrance. And over 102,000 lights are already burning on the website.

Communication was efficient. We had regular online meetings and contact via e-mail to discuss the next stages of the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have a deep recognition of the subject, commitment, and a human approach.
