Throughout the process we had regular status updates. Everyone was prepared for each presentation and walked the client through how best to fine-tune the design for a successful outcome.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The designs looked great. We'd love to work with them again. And as a team of developers it is refreshing to get a file handoff as well organized as Superbrand's.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Superbrand created some great designs, but the client did get hung up at one point on a few placeholder images that didn't match the topography of the land they protect.

**The Review** — Jul 13, 2022

**Feedback Summary**: SuperBrand delivered an inspiring company brand that the client and their employees loved. The new brand completely separated the firm from the client's personal brand, giving their employees more ownership over their work. Moreover, the client lauded SuperBrand's generosity and high-quality work.
""I was surprised at how accurately the words and images they gave us described what we knew but was indefinable for us.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

We are a coaching and training personal and professional development company. I am the owner.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire SuperBrand, and what were your goals?

We were evolving from a personal brand, under myself and my name, into a company brand. We needed a company name, core messaging, branding visuals (logo, fonts, colors, etc), and an overall strategy for transitioning my personal audience into the new company brand.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor?

Had been hired previously for personal branding. Originally met founder Gil at a media event in Los Angeles.

Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.

We started with filling out a branding questionnaire that really helped clarify our outcomes and start getting a better sense of where we were headed. Follow this we had a meeting including all members of Superbrand team, where they listened to all our leadership team talk about the challenges we were facing with our branding and messaging. There were lots of questions that invited us to dig deep and think differently. Following this, we had a number of meetings with superbrand while they worked on our messaging. It was a fun back-and-forth process.

After about a month of this, we met for a presentation of our messaging and brand image. We loved many options and over the next few weeks, with some back and forth, made decisions on the company name, key phrases and a logo. Following this, Superbrand began designing our website. A few weeks later they presented us with a beautiful website design, which we loved and after sharing our preferences from the options they gave us, Superbrand provided a final design. They also recommended partner web development companies, which we met with together with them to get a quote from.

Once we hired a web developer, most of our work was with them, but superbrand was consultated from time to time to get their help with bringing the original vision for the messaging and look all the way to life via the new website launch. This included a final review of the website before it launched, which helped us to come full circle to the intention of the messaging, which was in danger of being lost a bit by getting caught up in the technical aspects of the web development.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked directly with 3 people: Gil the Founder, Nicole the Copywriter and Ben the designer. We also met Olivia the Biz Developer once.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Because of this project, we have an inspiring company brand that everyone on our team has rallied around and within. It has given them more ownership over this work no longer being under the umbrella of my personal brand. The change is also creating a gravity around our work as something more substantial and that lives on it's own as a 'thing' than the work did under me as an individual.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We started with a general plan for when the meetings would happen and we always ended each meeting knowing when we would meet next, which I appreciated. Meetings were often long and in-depth, time allowing. I appreciated the relaxed generosity with time Superbrand gave to us. Communication between meetings by email and with Google Docs.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The quality of the work they deliver is extremely high level. I was surprised at how accurately the words and images they gave us described what we knew but was indefinable for us. We are consistently complimented on our brand and we trust that each time we hire superbrand to evolve our work, this will continue to be the result. Again, I was also impressed with their generosity and how committed they were to a high-level of quality and result.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Maybe consider a central place for project communication outside of email.

""They possessed unlimited creative energy and applied it to their clients' needs.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the chief executive officer of Development Without Limits, an education consulting group.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire SuperBrand, and what were your goals?

Our company needed a branding refresh with updated logo, website and overall story. We hadn't touched that stuff for at least a decade...

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor?

We found this vendor based on a trusted colleague in our professional field who highly recommended them. We interviewed Gil @SuperBrand and felt like he was a great partner to move our branding revision forward.

Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.

To start, we completed a 2 or 3 interviews with Gil and also concurrently completed a brand workbook in between meetings. Gil led us through the process of rebranding by digging into why we do what we do, how we do it and who we do it for. Based on our own words, he crafted a series of descriptions about our work that ultimately became the framing for our website. Gil helped us turn our passion into client-focused stories that are energizing and interesting.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked directly with their lead/founder, Gil Nevo.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Because of this project we have a cohesive brand journey, clear and beautiful logo and branding guidelines that we are able to follow for any and all writing and website updates.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We had every other week meetings and frequent email communication. Gil was also able to connect us with a web designer who could take our brand roadmap and build it into a full site. He was super responsive, easy going and focused on helping us get our brand shined-up.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their commitment to taking time to really understand our work and then helping translate it to words that other people understand was essential. For a process that was intimidating for us to undertake, Gil was able to make it fun and productive. They possessed unlimited creative energy and applied it to their clients' needs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We have no areas of improvement to note.

**The Review** — Jun 16, 2021

**Feedback Summary**: SuperBrand's assets were key to allowing the agency's web developers to create the end client's website for their content hub. The team met directly with the client, asking thoughtful questions to get them to think differently about the brand. This made for more emotionally compelling copy language.
""The way they got to the heart and purpose of the company was really impressive."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the Marketing Director for a content agency in Chicago. We specialize in content strategy and creation for brands.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire SuperBrand, and what were your goals?

Our client was building a content hub and wanted a strong identity for their new content brand. SuperBrand helped us develop the new brand messaging, logo, and website mockups.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor?

We met with them prior to bringing our client on board and thought they'd be a great addition to the project.

Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.

They met with our clients, digging into the reasoning for developing this content brand, all of the details on their business model and what makes them different, and the "why" behind why their clients would seek them out. They really helped pull language out of our client I don't think they would have gotten to on their own.

From that, SuperBrand developed messaging including taglines, mission statements, the about page for the website, and many other items. They also designed their new logo and the design of the content hub that then went directly to our website developers.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with two people - the head of the company and their copywriter.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were able to pass along all of the assets they delivered to our website developers who used that to create the website.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

They are very good at asking questions to get our client to think about things in a different way. This helped them get away from their standard language into something more emotional.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The way they got to the heart and purpose of the company was really impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I would have liked more due dates in advance so I could let my client know.

**Feedback Summary**: Although the website hadn't been launched yet, the client was delighted with an improved, exquisite, and functional website. A responsive team, SuperBrand executed an effective workflow through feedback and an in-depth understanding of the platform. The team's enthusiasm stood out in the workflow.
""We were impressed by how quickly and deeply they were able to understand our voice in our very niche industry."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Creative Director of an organization and online platform proving professional and educational resources for screenwriters and filmmakers.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire SuperBrand?

We were on the brink of begging a website rebuild and realized we needed an outside perspective on our brand, logo and messaging before we could move forward.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select SuperBrand and what were the deciding factors?

We spoke with the Superbrand team about their process, past projects as well as our goals and expectations. I would say the deciding factor to go with Superbrand was the way Gil and the team seemed to understand our goals and vision from the get-go and ease any concerns about roadblocks we might run into in evaluating our brand with an outside consultant.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We entered into an extensive discovery period that included questionnaires and 3 zoom meetings to discuss our brand voice and look/feel. We then received three designs of our homepage and an additional sales page as well as logo options. We went through a few iterations and additional discussions until we arrived at the final drafts. We then received all assets and Illustrator files to work with.

How many resources from the SuperBrand team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with a project manager, a designer and a copywriter.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are still months away from launching our website, but have been able to develop a website style guide and several more branded assets from the rebrand exercise and have a better understanding of our voice overall. We are excited to launch the finished product.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was very efficient. We were given ample time for feedback and to absorb the assets we were given, and Superbrand was quick to turn-around on their end.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were impressed by how quickly and deeply they were able to understand our voice in our very niche industry. They also helped us think outside of the box in the way we are communicating the value of our services. They helped us to realize what sets us apart from competitors and how to effectively show that.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There could have been a bit more organization of files and assets like a single drive folder to reference, but other than that we were very happy with the process.

**The Review** — Apr 28, 2021

**Feedback Summary**: The rebranding made by SuperBrand has helped the client increase their conversion rates and overall engagement. The team has been able to create a brand look and feel that reflects both a fun and a trustworthy sensation. Clients can expect a partner that is both artistic and well-organized.
"“They offer enterprise organization and hip, edgy artistic vision — it’s hard to find those two aspects combined.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CEO of Superlativ Media Group, a publishing company. We aggregate reviews online and filter spam and fake reviews for our consumer advocates. We have websites and publications in various verticals. Gadget Review is our biggest one with a million visitors per month, and I’m the managing partner there.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with SuperBrand?

We needed help to build a new brand identity and equity for the 20 million–30 million users we were looking for. We wanted to refresh the brand identity, messaging, and the whole UI for Gadget Review.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

In the beginning, SuperBrand helped us with the position statements, brand identity, and UX/UI of the site. First, we worked with them to come up with our initial brand book and to implement a basic redesign to our site. We had weekly meetings for a couple of months to define our core values, capability, tagline, color scheme, typography, and a new logo.

This initial engagement went very well, so we decided to hire SuperBrand to further execute on a complete redesign of our site. We meet with Gil (Founder) and a designer twice a week to work on the website’s wireframe. Gil acts as the creative director, and I act as the brand strategist. We had another wireframe built before, but we ended up working so much better with the new one that we scrapped our previous wireframe.

SuperBrand has been able to add the new brand identity to the site, and they've come up with the awards and the different rating systems. They’ve also brought into life new characters like a brand character called "the people’s watchdog." They have all these different elements coming together on different pages like the product review page, the buying guide page, and the resource homepage.

We’re now in production and meet twice a week. We’re working together for close to 50 hours a month in a retainer agreement. They also work on our copywriting for our in-brand pages, which takes an additional day of the week.

What is the team composition?

I work mainly with Gil and a designer. In the beginning, Gil was the one doing the designs for us, but he wanted to step back and take a creative director role. He decided to hire a designer, and I really appreciated that.

Gil interviewed around 50–100 designers to find the particular type of design that we wanted to commit to. It was hard to find a part-time freelancer for that role. We found someone that understood product reviews and had a background in that area, as well as in product design.

We’re speaking truth to power with what we do. We call out fake reviews online, so we wanted to have alignment in our mindset. Gil hit a homerun hiring this individual.

How did you come to work with SuperBrand?

I met Gil through a mutual friend. I’d done branding and wireframes myself, and I was looking for someone that could either match or knew more than what I knew about this subject. I had known him for a year before hiring SuperBrand for this project.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $30,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around September 2020, and our engagement is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

This engagement has achieved a significant impact on our business. Our brand equity has increased our conversion rate. The initial redesign took us forward, and we started seeing an impact on user engagement and traffic.

We still needed to do a full rebrand where we pivoted from testing products to testing the testers and grading the consumers. Gil has helped us transition and figure out our language and identity of radical transparency — we’re becoming a true consumer advocate. He has brought to life an old brand that had been around for a while. He gamified it and made it fun but trustworthy at the same time.

How did SuperBrand perform from a project management standpoint?

We use Airtable to manage the project, and we communicate via Slack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Gil is a true artist. He’s a painter and a film director, so he has a great artistic vision. Not many companies have an artist as their leader. That’s the reason SuperBrand is a very fresh company compared to others.

Gil has worked with the Bob Marley Foundation and was behind a Bob Marley album's art. He also won an Emmy years ago for animation on a famous cartoon. Not everyone is as hip and has the same background as him. He does more than visual branding — he’s a full-stack.

The rest of SuperBrand’s team aligns with the same way of thinking. They offer enterprise organization and hip, edgy artistic vision — it’s hard to find those two aspects combined. They’re very well organized on time, know how to direct, and can work under tight deadlines, but they’re also artistic and creative. SuperBrand feels like a dual-brained organization.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything SuperBrand could improve on.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be clear on your objectives and the feeling you want to evoke with your brand experience. Brush up on branding styles so you know how to speak with designers and branding people. It’ll help you communicate more effectively and get more efficiency from your engagement.

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the owner and founder of Fingerprint Marketing. We're a digital marketing and web design agency outside of Seattle.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with SuperBrand?

We’ve worked with SuperBrand on a few projects to identify the unique selling proposition of our clients. We help them with brand strategy, to create messaging for their website, and to identify how to talk to their audiences in order to make sales and get leads.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

SuperBrand helps us with brand strategy and messaging. We have an in-depth questionnaire that we send to the end client. Based on those answers, SuperBrand conducts strategy calls and creates roadmaps, which include sample messaging that end clients can use in all their marketing. They also give an outline of the new brand and its unique selling points through short taglines. They do logo design with some clients as well.

What is the team composition?

We work only with Gil (Founder).

How did you come to work with SuperBrand?

They were referred to us, and looking at the founder’s depth of experience, the companies that he’s worked with, and his past work convinced us to take the leap and work with him exclusively.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested $20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in September 2018, and the partnership is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Branding is a long-term game, and it’s really hard to measure the results of a good brand, so I don’t have any proof except happy clients.

How did SuperBrandperform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate using email, and it’s been great.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their clarity was the best part of working with them. They have a great process, and they’ve always delivered on what they promised.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't have anything on top of mind to suggest right now.

Any advice for potential customers?

Be prepared for a collaborative experience. You know your business best, and they can distill amazing messages from the deep dive that you do in the beginning, so be ready to commit and work closely with them to really nail down what your message should be.

**The Review** — Oct 10, 2022

**Feedback Summary**: SuperBrand packed the client's products into a well-thought story within a short timeframe. They also delivered the client's new website, logo, and communication guidelines. The client lauded the vendor's startup mindset and ability to address their needs promptly despite the time difference.
""I loved working with them and would do it again if any occasion arose.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the CEO of a gaming and tech startup, combining the power of web 3 to entertaining video games.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire SuperBrand, and what were your goals?

We have a strong technical focus which gave us a differentiation but also was too narrow to reflect the whole story. We needed help to rebrand to reflect a better story and be able to better communicate.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor?

Another CEO of a tech startup recommended getting in touch with them.

Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.

Their methodology is literally bulletproof and you can see they have done it a number of times. They were able to drive us from the overall market to our positioning, to the detailed products, and add a story behind it. Then, they started to think about the story of the new website, the different pages, and the content and finished with the new logo.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Three different people:

copywriter
	founder
	designer

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We managed to pack all our products into a single, well-thought story. That was quite the achievement especially given the short deadline I had. On top of that, after some research, they came up with a new website design and drove us to fill in the blanks. In the end, I am very pleased with the new story, the website, and the logo. Finally, some communication guidelines and how we communicate in a summary book have been delivered.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

A big thank you to all the team, friendly, hard-worker, and accommodating seeing the time difference between California and France, I've nothing but praise to tell.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The mindset. Very start-up minded. I loved working with them and would do it again if any occasion arose.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think we all forgot the mobile version at some point and they had to do it super quickly. We had a couple of mismatches due to that but nothing blocking.

## Portfolio & Awards

### Rouge Studios: Motion Capture & Animation Studio
Rouge Studios is one of the world’s leading motion capture and animation studios, serving the AAA gaming and entertainment industries with cutting edge technology and performance. As part of a comprehensive brand refresh, we refined their logo, evolved their visual identity, and designed and developed a bold new website to match the power of their work.

### Brazuka Coffee Package Design & Brand Identity
We helped the coffee brand Brazuka work on their message, positioning and identity as they relaunched their organic, fair trade coffee. We transformed the packaging design for Brazuka Coffee Roasters, elevating the brand from bland and generic to bright, bold, and deeply expressive. Drawing inspiration from the dynamic energy and visual language of Brazilian propaganda art, we created vibrant packaging that celebrates both the cultural roots of the coffee and the handcrafted quality of the product. The new design uses saturated colors, striking graphics, and expressive typography to create instant shelf impact, reinforce brand personality, and better engage discerning coffee lovers. Through this refresh, Brazuka now stands out with packaging that feels as rich and bold as the coffee it contains — embodying both heritage and modern aesthetic appeal.

### Superhuman Bikes Rebrand & Web Design
We collaborated with Superhuman Bikes — a Southern California-based electric bike company formerly known as FLX Bike — to redefine their brand identity and elevate their digital presence. Our work began with a strategic renaminginitiative that captured the brand’s evolution and mission to empower riders to go further, faster, and with more freedom. We then developed a cohesive brand identity and visual system that reflects Superhuman’s commitment to performance, adventure, and community. Finally, we designed and built a responsive, user-centric website that showcases their product lineup, tells their brand story, and enhances the online shopping experience. The result is a bold, modern digital platform that supports Superhuman’s growth and aligns with their vision for innovative, high-performance electric mobility.

### Integritee: Layer 2 Solution

Our goal was to show not tell and create a vibrant, colorful brand that fully expressed the festival’s energy and purpose.

### Clear For Me Messaging + Identity
We worked with beauty tech startup Clear For Me and clearly defining their value proposition for their separate sets of stakeholders and organizing their communication.
