We needed a website developed for us. Our goal was to make it easy for our clients to check our services through our website.

We asked Sufalam Technologies to make a single-page application (SPA) that featured our services. We had a lot of discussions and brainstorming sessions before they proceeded with the development process.

The website allowed our potential clients to avail themselves of our services and make inquiries. Additionally, we could post job listings on the site that candidates could apply for. The team handled everything. 

We now have a service-level agreement (SLA), so they continue to maintain the site.

We worked with around 4–5 people. One of them was the owner, while the others were all web developers.

The project lasted from February–April 2021. Our SLA will continue until April 2022.

Their work was excellent. We were looking for a website that was easily navigable for our potential clients and candidates, and Sufalam Technologies truly made it user-friendly. They were also kind enough to make any changes we needed.

We are an “old-fashioned” company in face-to-face selling of suits. No e-commerce business with fancy options and quick solutions. Our suits are made by hand and every one of them is unique. My name is Haico Eggengoor and I’m the co-founder of Suits and ties. It’s my job to run this business as smooth as possible.

To keep this off-line business up and running we obviously need modern technology. Our website needed to be smooth, fast and especially needed it a personal touch. Also our way of managing the orders on paper and excel needed to be updated. A smooth App for iOs closed the gap.

After made the discission to take our next steps we wrote and posted a Request for Proposal. Sufalam was the one partner who fitted us a suit. Despite a huge physical distance, we spoke the same language. After the first job, it was natural that we would work together again.

They helped us with everything after I sent the mockup. Page design, setting up initial basics, proactive advice asked and unsolicited. Finally, the delivery and sublime aftercare. Even far after the job was delivered, we could still contact them with questions.

Sufalem's team consisted of a project manager, designer and a few developers. But I was also given a role on the team. Not as a mere commissioner but as a co-builder of the end result. No hassle when I wanted to change something for the umpteenth time.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

They succeeded in our goal time and time again. A great website that we get a lot of positive feedback on. Our app helps us do our job well and quickly every day. In addition, it ensures that human errors are minimized. Without a doubt, the next job will be discussed with Sufalem first.

Every development, step, the design was shared through our communication platform. A very easy way to follow the project. But also to give feedback immediately. Questions were quickly answered back and forth so the project did not have to be delayed. In addition, we had regular contact via Skype to discuss the ins and outs.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Personal! Despite the distance. No hassle. They were open to my feedback time and time again.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I have no suggestions for this. "They ran ahead of the music" - a perhaps odd translation from Dutch. Freely translated it means that things were settled, resolved or smoothed out before it mattered.

We’ve been working together for four years, which is a testament to how satisfied I am with their services. Sufalam Technologies’ has provided excellent development support. The educational administration system they created for one of our clients was so successful that it’s being rolled out at different schools.

They’ve been excellent. Whenever I have any questions, they reply in a very timely manner. They’ve been great at providing scheduling and cost estimates. I’m constantly in touch with their project manager about satisfaction levels, targets, dates, and potential process amendments.

Their project management is on point. They keep track of all our communication to make sure the project is on track. They’re also very quick to provide solutions, even in the event of an extreme time crunch. Their ability to turn something around in 24 hours is commendable.

Sometimes, they provide more documentation than needed. They could forgo some of that information.

We hired Sufalam for a mobile app design and development project. The app is used for placing mobile orders at live entertainment venues and having those orders delivered to the customer's seat.

What were your goals for this project?

To quickly bring a mobile ordering app to the market with high quality and security due to the e-commerce nature of our business.

How did you select this vendor?

We were referred to Sufalam through a mutual contact and after a few meetings and learning about their software development process we selected them to complete the project.

Once we selected Sufalam we had many discovery sessions to bring out the requirements and goals of our project. We first started with design and Sufalam provided very nice mockups that we were able to use during sales presentations and gave a good idea of what the final product would look like.

We then broke ground on development and using the Scrum process Sufalam provided us frequent updates and new versions of the software that we could test every few weeks. After much refinement we launched into the app stores and deployed our web admin panel to production!

The Sufalam team is large but for our project we were assigned a Business Development Manager, Project Manager and a development team that included design, dev, and QA resources.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was very successful, we launched the apps in just a few short months and we've been refining and making sales ever since. We still work ongoing with Sufalam for software updates and they are very responsive and able to get our work done quickly.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Sufalam uses Jira and Basecamp to manage the development work so everything is clear and in one place. We provided requirements, they refined and developed them, and then we had a chance to review that work in a Staging environment.

We are a Scheduling provider for Real Estate Related businesses. We provide Attorneys, Realtors, Lenders and others with a connected solution to provide visibility into shared transactions and allow them to communicate where they could not in the past.

For what projects/services did your company hire Sufalam Technologies Pvt Ltd, and what were your goals?

We had an ongoing contract with a developer who was not meeting deadlines or budgets and was not providing any results. What started out as a 6 month project turned into 2 years and we were very frustrated.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Sufalam took over from another developer that was extremely over time and over budget. They had to learn how the previous developers wrote the code and vet it before they could start to help us with completing the project. They jumped in and understood the complexities with which it was written and then offered solutions to simplify the code and improve the efficiency of the site.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

They had to first understand the code as it was written and then deconstruct some of it to make it work properly. They did a good job in keeping what they could to avoid starting over. Then they starting with providing us modules in sprints and delivered working parts of our system so we could start making money with it while they continued to complete other parts. They used an AWS backend and we wrote this in several different languages for different parts of each site. We are currently up to about 250 API connections and have put automation on Dev, Staging and Production sites to ensure smooth releases.

We had the Owner which has been great, guide us through what he thought we needed and then provided us with the correct people. We had a project manager, 3 Dev guys, 1 front end and 1 automation.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After a few months of figuring out the code and correcting it, they started to deliver in 2 week sprints, exactly what we asked for. We set up sprints in Jira and prioritize them how we want depending on need.

We have about 3 meetting a week with different dev guys. We have sprint planning meetings and then sprint review meetings. They give us daily email updates and daily automation testing updates which keep us all on track with progress.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They deliver on what they say. They are able to research and find solutions and then recommend better ways to do things. I think we can build anything with them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Time difference is an issue if you let it be. They stay up late and we get up early to make it work.
