What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

There have been severable outcomes from this project that demonstrate progress and success. One of which has been increased brand recognition based on the new branding. I have also found it easier to create content; thus saving time, thanks to the templates provided. The social media templates are designed to streamline content creation. There has been a reduction in time and resources spent on creating posts as a direct outcome. Lastly, the provision of guidance, or tutorials for website maintenance makes self-sufficient in managing the website and its content. There wlll be a decrease in the need for external support, which it exactly what I needed for this project.

They provided great services and took feedback very well. Communication and understanding of my needs, along with pure talent, is one of Mars' greatest strengths.

Maria (Founder & Creative Director) has helped us create several deliverables, such as our logo, packaging design, web design, and corporate brand identity. Additionally, she has helped us develop and design our website from scratch using Shopify. She has implemented key features to the site and created different pages, such as a checkout page, a reviews page, and several product pages.

We began working with Studio Obacht in February 2020, and the engagement is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Maria has done a very good job of helping us launch our brand; she’s played a very vital role in the whole process. Also, we like our new website — it’s different and fresh and carries a cool design. We’ve also received positive feedback from customers about our site.

How did Studio Obacht perform from a project management standpoint?

Maria is amazing when it comes to communication, meeting our timelines, and staying within budget. For communication, we mainly interact through email and WhatsApp. We use Google Sheets to track tasks and have a shared Google Drive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re very impressed with Maria — she’s a highly creative person who is truly dedicated and honest. She also delivers outputs on time and provides services at a reasonable price. Overall, she’s a nice person to work with.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything that Maria could improve on. To be honest, I haven’t worked with anyone who is as well-rounded in all these different areas.

Be fair towards Maria and give her the same level of respect that she gives you.

We hired Studio Obacht to help launch our initial Idea. Working on everything from branding, logo design, advertising designs, product design, mock ups, and creative think tanks - Studio Obacht has been with us every step of the way.

I actually worked with Studio Obacht for years before this project began - first discovering them through 99 Designs in the way early days of my entrepreneurial dreams. Studio Obacht has helped me launch a few successful endeavors.

To start, they gathered as much info as they could on the requested task at hand. We then began to put together a moodboard to better understand the direction of our brand. From there we discovered our voice, audience, typefaces and all the goods that accompany a well compiled branding guide. They then helped us design a beautiful logo, and we’ve continued to work with them for advertising graphics, mock ups, and product designs.

I’ve worked with one team member - the companies founder, directly for years. It’s been a pleasure!

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Because of working with Studio Obacht we have a successful company with solid brand guidelines. Traffic to our site and social media has been boosted and sales of increased month after month!

We communicate over email regularly - a few times a week to be exact. They’ve always been highly responsive and nail deadlines down - most of the time earlier than expected!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are very down to Earth, at this point it’s almost like I’m speaking to a friend/coworker. There’s no miss-communication and you can tell how dedicated they are to doing the job right. The scope of knowledge within Studio Obacht is also very rare - it’s pretty much a one stop shop. Anything I’ve ever asked they’ve been able to do. They truly are a great company!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I’m very satisfied with all areas of Studio Obacht.

I’m the founder and operator of Drink Apolo Pty Ltd, a direct-to-consumer e-commerce brand selling coffee-based products in Australia.

What challenge were you trying to address with Studio Obacht?

We hired Studio Obacht to help us with branding and design work, including logos and other creative assets.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I’ve worked with Studio Obacht on creating the brand identity of Drink Apolo. This project has included designing the logo and website and defining the brand's fonts and color palettes. They’ve also helped us with the packaging design, including designing the first mock-ups, defining the packaging colors, and more.

Initially, I had a few Zoom meetings with Studio Obacht to set up the project’s agenda and have brainstorming sessions. From there, we gave them ideas and information about our product and brand, and we also discussed our positioning. During this process, their team asked us questions about our target audience and demographics so that we could define our positioning and create a brand identity that resonated with said audience.

After the discovery process, Studio Obacht went into the logo design process. We provided them with the name of our brand, and they created three different versions of the logo with three different styles. Once we chose a style, we made edits until we had the logo we wanted.

The branding and logo design process was followed by the website’s design and development. First, we had a brainstorming session to define our requirements for the web design. Then, Studio Obacht used Figma to create the design and show us how the site would look. Once we were satisfied with the design, they developed the site on Shopify.

Ours is a direct-to-consumer site, so we sell our products there. It has a subscription feature so that users can buy our products on a subscription basis every month. It also allows our clients to leave reviews of our products. Moreover, Studio Obacht integrated a page-builder capability so that we could create more pages on the site easily.

I’ve worked directly with Maria (Founder & Creative Director), and I used to work with a copywriter. However, this person is no longer in the company.

How did you come to work with Studio Obacht?

I found Maria a few years ago on a website called 99Designs. At the time, I was starting my business, and I needed help with logo and web design. Thus, I contacted her, and we started our partnership. Ultimately, I chose her because she had done excellent designs in the past.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with Studio Obacht in January 2019, and it is an ongoing engagement. We work with them on a monthly basis.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve received very positive feedback on our branding and website, and customers have also told us that they love our product’s packaging, colors, and designs. Additionally, we’ve increased our brand awareness because people share our products and work on social media.

How did Studio Obacht perform from a project management standpoint?

Studio Obacht has performed well, and they meet our deadlines every quarter. Although we’ve had some time management issues, those aren’t related to them. Those challenges have been caused because we’re constantly iterating on different product versions, which diminishes our focus. Still, their turnaround times are very fast. We communicate via Zoom, WhatsApp, and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Studio Obacht’s commitment to their work is impressive. They have a structured way of doing things, and they’re very proactive; once they assess their client’s ideas, they get straight to work. Additionally, their ethic is outstanding, and they love to work with smaller brands.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I’m very happy with them. They always surprise me, and they deliver what we want.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Don’t expect them to do all the work for you; you need to provide them with guidance, at least. Additionally, know your target audience and the direction you want to take.

We engaged Studio Obacht to help us with branding, design, logos, and creative assets.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started with a brainstorming session to share information about our target audience demographic. After hearing our design ideas and assessing our goals, Studio Obacht made branding and design recommendations to define our positioning. Then, they developed our visual brand identity, including our logo, font, color palette, packaging, and website design. 

For the logo design process, they presented us with three logo styles. Once we chose our desired style, they made further edits to create the final design mock-up in Figma, which we approved. Similarly, they created mock-ups for our website design in Figma. After settling on a website design, Studio Obacht built our website using Shopify. The team implemented a reviews feature that enables users to review our products directly on the website. Additionally, they built an e-commerce feature that enables users to purchase monthly coffee subscriptions. They also integrated our site with Page Builder, allowing us to update the site ourselves. 

Now, Obacht Studio continues to support us with our monthly design needs.

I found Maria’s design work online a few years ago and was impressed, so I contacted her.

Studio Obacht has helped us build a distinct brand identity specific to our goals. Their branding and design efforts have increased our brand awareness and online engagement. Customers have shared overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding our fabulous packaging design and compelling color schemes. 

How did Studio Obacht perform from a project management standpoint?

We’ve been pleasantly surprised by how Studio Obacht has handled our projects. Despite working with several clients, they’ve delivered exactly what we’ve asked for, within our time frames. The team, although lean, is quite nimble, and we’ve been happy with how they’ve structured their process. They’ve consistently addressed our needs and provided reasonable prices for the quality of their work. We’ve used Zoom, WhatsApp, email, and phone to communicate. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve been most impressed by Studio Obacht’s work ethic and commitment to our project. They’ve consistently listened to our ideas and gone to work to quickly deliver what we asked for.

I have nothing Studio Obacht could improve on.

I advise you to do your homework upfront; be prepared to share information about your target audience’s demographics. Studio Obacht is capable of delivering what you need, but you can’t expect them to do that without providing some direction. Try to approach them with a clearly outlined brief, so they can best help you reach your goals.

The website has helped us secure a lot of jobs, for us this has been a huge success is terms of value, we could not have gained the confidence of our clients without a professional and well done website.

Just wrapped up my second website project with Maria, and I can't sing their praises enough! Maria is a total rockstar when it comes to designing and developing websites. First off, communication with Maria was a breeze. Quick responses, clear updates, and they were always there to sort out any questions or concerns.They were totally down for making any tweaks or improvements no matter how small they were. After two successful collaborations, Maria is officially my go-to for websites. I have friends who I have referred that are now using them for their website too.
