The technical results from the testnet phase have been outstanding. Peiko’s engineering team managed to significantly drive down gas consumption for rebalancing transactions through expert code optimization. Beyond immediate cost savings, the underlying logic for automated yield management has proven to be incredibly resilient. We now have a rock-solid architectural framework that allows us to integrate additional protocols seamlessly without any trade-offs in security or system throughput. It is a masterclass in Web3 optimization.

The app was developed on time for a successful tennis spring season launch and has since gained many users. The feedback has been impressive in all aspects of its functionality and continues to get better. We have attracted over 390 users, which is significant for local tennis league.

Everything was delivered on time, and in times when a potential issue happened, they always stepped up and corrected problems the same day. Software development never goes perfectly, and it was great to know we had a very responsive partner in Stubbs. In the early stages, they were very good at understanding what needed to be done and it always felt like we were on the same page.

Even though we were several time zones away, the communication was excellent. We had one or two scoping calls, and the rest was handled flawlessly through Slack. They were always super responsive. I am most impressed with the quality of their design. 

They have some excellent UI/UX designers with no shortage of ideas on how to make thing look and work amazing. I'm a designer myself and leaned on them constantly for top-notch solutions to various use cases.Finding good design in development companies is not easy, and Stubbs has all of it.

Additionally there is a sign up/ login process, settings, profile pages etc. It was the first phase necessary in our projects development and it is the foundation that we will continue to build upon.

The project was broken down into three phases, with the web application being useable after the completion of the second phase. The third stage mostly consisted of changes that were made based on our communities feedback.

A risk with other developers is that they will only do the work explicitly outlined to them. Stubbs was able to examine the project at a high level and quickly understand how all the work fit together. This allowed us to plan and execute the development in a methodical, organised, and fast way.

Stubbs were great, I hope they are able to expand their team to dedicate more resources per project.

ChangeAgents AEC are performance assessors, educators, process engineers and visual communicators. CA operates internationally out of Melbourne, Australia since 2004 and focuses on facilitating the digital transformation of the Built Environment through knowledge exchange and performance assessment at different organisational scales. Its services are a product of continuous and open knowledge-exchange across borders and are offered as a series of innovative tools, workflows, and strategies.

Relying exclusively on research-based methods, CA has assisted many public and private clients to improve their internal digital performance and the abilities of their value chains. Services include developing custom web applications to meet each client's - often complex - requirements. I'm the Director ChangeAgents, the lead researcher, and visual communicator.

This is the third iteration of the BIM Dictionary (https://BIMdictionary.com) and it required a complete rethink - new DB structure and wholly rethought front end. We hired Stubbs to assist us in implementing the new design.

The BIM Dictionary is a complex web application with multiple user roles. These include a Head Editor, multiple Editorial Teams, and non-authenticated users that have extensive access to free functionalities. The project is open-source and require localisation of all features. Part of the project include high-fidelity interactive schemas that needed pixel-perfect attention to detail. The Stubbs team worked on the Front End which is done mostly Reactjs off detailed mockups done in Figma.

Over the past many months, four people worked with us from the Stubbs team. All were FE web developers, two were senior developers leading parts of the project. They worked with other colleagues from different vendors and the work progressed smoothly and efficiently.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project is still ongoing and we are very pleased with the deliverables so far. Working with Stubbs has been very collegial and the teams operated efficiently towards the deliverables.

The web applications we typically design and deliver are quite complex and require an agile-mindset yet an informal approach. Tasks are detailed by the product owner in Asana based on interactive mockups in Figma. Tasks are collated in batches but due to the development speed, developers had to respond quickly to design changes and implement QA tasks as soon as they are reported.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We are impressed by their open management style, care for employees, and flexibility when requesting extended services beyond those originally agreed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Stubbs operates out of Ukraine and in spite of all the uncertainty and difficult circumstances, they are/were able to operate professionally and deliver according to agreement. At the moment, I cannot identify areas for improvement and I'm happy that we are working together.

I hired Stubbs for a number of projects. These ranged from fintech to B2B applications to social media based applications. Our goals varied from project to project but overall the goals that overlapped were some sort of UI/UX, frontend development, database setup, backend development, some kind of API development or implementation, QA, documentation, and deployment.

I found Stubbs about 3 months prior to hiring them but didn't have a project for them. I stayed in touch with the team until it was the right time and began delegating work to them in Spring 2021. The biggest factor that lead to me hiring them was their communication. Volodymyr in specific always maintained consistent communication. I knew that every morning I could expect a reply from him regarding the projects we were working on together.

As mentioned before, scopes vary project-over-project but typically the projects shared UI/UX, Frontend development, Database setup, backend development, QA, documentation, and deployment. Our deliverables were typically setup on a feature basis and with milestones. So we would setup a milestone to complete the frontend development of 1-2 features. The technologies we used were always the same. React + Node + Mongo.

Every morning I would wake up to key questions regarding projects were working on and every friday I would get a full report on project status. The team also used Clickup to track progress and timelines.

Their communication for sure. I never had to chase the team for any updates. They were always on top of communication.

Nothing I can think of other than considering hiring some US talent or having staff on US time zone. That would be great to maintain their culture of great project management with US time zone.

The team worked according to the Scrum methodology with the distribution of tasks into 2 weeks Sprints. Every week we received a report on the work performed. Any additional tasks were estimated and provided the time and cost. Most of the communication took place in Telegram and we also got the access to Clickup and all the tasks there.

Loyalty, ability to find the optimal solution, and high level of involvement from the engineers to the top management of the company, we have been always involved with a team leader of development and founders of the company.

The project took more than expected at the beginning, so this is a possible area of improvement. In general, everything was good enough to satisfy our needs.
