The team on the project are all integrated into the project and are able to communicate to all involved, post links, screen shots, track milestones and deliverables. Its a fantastic system and made for complete transparency which i apprecaited.

I am the founder/CEO of iCreateImpact which is an app that helps patients and doctors by improving communication, security, and affordability with the mission to increase access to specialist care that is out of reach for many Americans.

Our company had an idea for a app but StartupCraft was hired for consultation and development of blueprints. They also helped create a detailed timeline for the MVP development.

We talked to a lot of vendor and settled on StartupCraft because during their consultation, they were experienced, we liked their portfolio of projects, they took genuine interest in our vision, and gave honest and helpful feedback.

We had meetings where I would describe how I wanted the app to work, the way I wanted it to operate, and it's goals. After each meeting we would have a collaborative effort on the ideas for the blueprints. The blueprints for the app were made clearly and efficiently after each meeting and were changed as needed. At the end, I was satisfied with the blueprints and also the timeline for the MVP because a lot of consideration was given to my ideas and the mission of the project.

I primary worked with Volodymyr, who is the founder of StartupCraft. He was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He has excellent communication skills and made working on this project for our company enjoyable.

Other organizations we have worked with since we have worked with StartupCraft have said the blueprints are impressive. StartupCraft did an excellent job in making a complicated development of app into a easy to follow diagram that captures all the important components of the app's function.

Our communication was fast and easy and we also were able to use one of their created products for communication called Synchronos, which was extremely convenient as all of the project's details were easily available there.

This company was very impressive because of their knowledge and their ability to really understand the our projects goals and what we wanted to create with the app. Working with them felt very collaborative and productive. We were able to reach our goals working with this company.

I am impressed with the speed at which their team is able to understand our needs and vision and how quickly they can develop a product. They also have a high level of flexibility if we want to ship a specific feature quicker.

StartupCraft Inc is committed to delivering accurate and on-budget solutions. They’ve put together a reliable and user-friendly platform for us and even managed to do so before the deadline we set. Additionally, our iterations and additional features are quickly integrated into the app because of their efficient turnaround times.

How did StartupCraft Inc perform from a project management standpoint?

We use Kronos as our main project management tool. One of StartupCraft’s main strengths is their ability to provide accurate timelines and transparent reports. They always make it a point to follow their initial timetables, and they document everything to make the iteration process easier. Overall, I can say that they’re on top of the project management game.

What did you find most impressive about them?

StartupCraft Inc is a highly responsive team — I don’t find the need to follow up on anything because their team always gets back to us quickly and does their best to ensure that our needs and concerns are met. They make our goals theirs, and that level of dedication and attentiveness represents their work ethic — StartupCraft Inc’s team shows the willingness to grow with our team.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’re happy with what StartupCraft Inc has delivered so far, but their planning can use more refinement. Over the course of our partnership, there’ve been times wherein the review stages have been excluded from the timetables, which has led to minor timeline adjustments.

Communication is important, especially when dealing with a foreign team. While StartupCraft Inc is skilled in English, it will help to form a team of in-house members who are efficient communicators.

We started with scoping and wireframing the project with them. Then, they moved into graphic design. Once the graphics were laid out, we started weekly agile sprints. The project ended with customer testing.

Overall, we have been very happy with the deliverables - they have allowed us to onboard various customers and deliver projects as necessary. Timelines have been met and budgets kept on track.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They built modules for our website, which enables people to place trading orders on cryptocurrency exchanges. The project also required knowledge of financial modeling and risk assessment.

Everything was built from scratch, including the modules, which StartupCraft connected to an external database.

There were 4–5 people; two of those were George (Co-Founder), our technical lead, and then there was a senior software engineer.

We found them on Upwork, and their pricing was good. They were proactive, compared to other companies. They’d worked on similar websites before, and thus, had a good background.

We worked together from July–September 2020.

They’re pretty good in terms of development in the blockchain space, and they also excel backend, in terms of integration and development. Finally, they did well working with servers.

How did StartupCraft Inc perform from a project management standpoint?

We used their internal software to communicate. It worked pretty well; they made it to manage each of their projects, and it allowed us to follow each module as it was being built. We assign specific tasks to specific people, and there was a chat feature.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They worked very fast and were responsive and available. The scheduled time for delivery was respected.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing to state. There are always some little things that have to be adjusted during projects, but the service was great.

I am the director of strategy and finance at John Wayne Construction. John Wayne Construction provides construction services to United States Government, discerning hoteliers, architects, interior designers, and prime contractors throughout the United States and the Caribbean.

We needed a way to manage the time cards for several hundred laborers in the field. StartupCraftt helped us build a system consisting of 2 mobile apps, and a web app which provides a 365 degree view into the labor on our job sites.

What were your goals for this project?

Improve accuracy by eliminating hand written Paper Time Sheets & subsequent data entry. Increase transparency for our clients and our labor. Improve efficiency on the job sites.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I interviewed multiple firms and received multiple proposals. StartupCraft was the best fit at the time and I would make the same decision today.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

When JWCs work force arrives on a client’s project, all laborers will have the LbR mobile app ready on their smart phones to display their digital photo ID badge and their entire work history. Each project will have at least one team leader who will have the LbR MgR (Kiosk) app on their iPad.

To begin and end each day, the team leader will use the LbR MgR app to scan in and out each laborer. These scans will be GPS verified and time stamped; plus, laborers will review and confirm their hours by signing with their finger – so no more time theft or worrying about lost hours! Additionally, this process automatically creates daily and weekly reports and even creates certified payroll.

What was the team composition?

I am honestly not sure exactly how many people worked on this project from StartupCraft. I would guess more than 15 people but I only had direct interaction with 8. The size of the team and the team members fluctuated based on the stage of the development process we were in.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This new system developed by StartupCraft completely changed the way we do business. This app was created as an internal tool and it has streamlined our payroll and AR process so much that we are considering changing our entire business model to offer these services to our competitors.

Overall, StartupCraft Inc developed a phenomenal product that will give our company a competitive advantage for a long time.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Overall, the project management was effective, however this was an area that could be improved upon. It was not negative by any means, it just needed a different approach. Volodymyr, the owner of the company was our project manager and of course he has many demands on his time.

In my opinion, our project would have benefited from having a dedicated project manager under Volodymyr from beginning to end, to help him handle the smaller details. There were a few people who acted as project manager in title and in practice throughout the project but, it felt like my only constant point of contact was Volodymyr and as the owner of the company he did not have the time to be on every conference call the way a PM probably should.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Extremely fast response time. Anytime an issue arose, you can rely on someone on the development team to respond within a few minutes. This was our companies first time working with a software developer so we had a LOT of questions and concerns. StartupCraft handled all of our concerns with great care, even when our concerns were in fact nonsense.

Are there any areas for improvement?

In my opinion, there is only one area for improvement. One project manager to be on every call from the beginning all the way to the end to ensure consistent communication.
