We provided the design work and they built our platform from scratch using WordPress. It was a five-page site with a home page, a how we can help page, a services page, a blog page, and a contact page.

I found them through Upwork and I chose them because they had the best bid. They also reminded me of my own organization.

We’ve spent about $700 AUD (approximately $500 USD).

We started working with them in December 2020 and the project is ongoing.

The site is still under development, but I’m happy with their work so far.

How did Stafflancer perform from a project management standpoint?

They managed to deliver on time and met all of our deadlines. We initially communicated over phone and Google Meets. Then we started sending messages through LinkedIn and Telegram. Christopher is on the ball; he is available when I needed to talk to him and updates me regularly.

I appreciate their communication and the effort they make to meet our deadlines.

The client was really happy with the new website. Their lead generations through the website have improved.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The team prepared a timeline, and a plan of tasks to be done per day and per month. Deadlines were almost always respected,and if not the communication was very transparent and very professional. Daily communication with updates.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Technical skills: the technical specifications were very well respected at once, no bugs were detected during the QA phase. They really paid attention to details.

Not really. They meet all our expectations in terms of quality of service rendered, and timeline.

Based on a partner’s platform, Stafflancer developed a WordPress website for us. Providing recommendations, their team built the platform using Yii framework, PHP, and G Suite. They not only followed the example but also integrated branding, features, and animations into the site. Their team also customized the example platform’s features for our website.

We worked with Stafflancer in February 2018. This year, we integrated additional features into the platform.

During development, we didn’t face any issues; everything went well. Since Stafflancer produced the website, we’ve only updated the platform once. Our team hasn’t experienced any problems with the product. The platform works well and performs all the necessary functions. The website has helped the business a lot.

Mostly, we communicated by e-mail and Skype. Their team was responsive. Since we’re in the same time zone, communication was never a problem.

Stafflancer LLC's timelines and cost estimations were almost always accurate. In the rare events that they were not, they communicated that as early as possible, allowing for greater flexibility when needed.

Stafflancer's timeline transparency, technical knowledge, availability, and value is a cut above the rest.

International communication is always a challenge, especially across so many time zones. Although it was not to a degree that made me lose confidence in the overall product, that may still need more improvement. 
Specifically, slightly more frequent proactive updates would be great. Still, whenever I check in on the status of a project or request, I always get an answer in a reasonable time frame.

In terms of success with the app, we don’t have any worries — there were no problems throughout the project. We haven’t seen an issue with their code.

In terms of professionalism with the backlog and with communication, they were very good. There were a lot of touchpoints on their side. The team asked a lot of questions and when they were lacking something, they would ask. In terms of their work, it was very, very good.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their proactivity really stands out.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was a miscommunication during the presell, but it was also my responsibility to have checked things well about what the delivery would be at the end. Other than that, in terms of development, it was good.

Have a clear background. They are technically very good and are proactive in terms of questions. Our problem was that our brief was more commercial than technical.
