We are a creative sole proprietorship based in Switzerland. The head and heart behind the team takes care of corporate identity and web design and gives ideas and brands an individual identity. Working with us inspires, motivates and provides creative impetus in the implementation of visions.

I hired Spawoz for several web development projects in the past. The goal always was, to work with a reliable and competently team. Over the years, I've had very good experiences working with Spawoz.

The company I've worked for, before becoming self employed, was working with Spawoz aswell. During that time periode Arun and his team developed a number of websites for us. The partnership was great. Always trustworthy and the work itself quick done and well implemented.

Our communication is based on email and Slack. Depending on the project the briefing includeds mock-ups, miro boards, CICD designs. Spawoz is fairly adaptable and always try their best to get a good picture of the requirements. Questions are not uncommon, which shows, they think along with you.

Over the years, I've worked with about 7 different employes, many PM's. New projects, estimations and financial concers were always disscussed with Arun.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching websites, Spawoz ensures everything on the website is working properly and the customer was happy with the end product and Spawoz Technologies' service.

I usually have weekly stand-ups with a project manager, who commuicates with the rest of the team. When there are news, unexpected delays or problems, he keeps me updated. We use Slack or email to communicate. I do appreciate the fast and precise communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their trustworthy over the years, great communication skills with excellent use of english. Spawoz is always ready to help and its a lot of fun to work with them :).

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Design isn't a strong core competence of Spawoz. Maybe a designer in the team would be an improvement for the future.

I'm a business development manager for an education company with the main focus on tutoring physically as well as online.

For what projects/services did your company hire Spawoz Technologies, and what were your goals?

As part of a brand extensions, we created a new online tutoring brand. Therefore, we needed a completely new website. To convert the design into a functional website we hired Spawoz.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We selected Spawoz for this project based on the excellent work Arun and his team delivered on a different project within our company in the past. The main reason our company has chosen Spawoz in the beginning was the knowledge regarding Typo as well as the very good success rate, cost effectiveness as well as positive experiences from other companies.

In the beginning we had a quick but detailed kick-off call in which we presented the scope, or goals and the design of our website. Based on very detailed descriptions of the different sites as well as all the functional features Arun and his team started to bring our vision into reality. Besides the basic technologies as HTML, CSS, Java, PHP we used Typo3 for the CMS.

Four different people were involved in our project. Arun was the main project manager on Spawoz side overlooking the progress and managing the organizational stuff like the payments etc. Athulya was mainly responsible for the development. She had some assistance regarding programming as well as testing during the project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The main purpose of the newly developed website was to test initial assumptions and then expand the brand based on the result of the assumptions. So more like an MVP. With the developed website we reached our goals and therefore successfully tested our assumptions.

The initial kick-off was held via Google Meet. For the rest of the project, we used Slack as our main communication channel. Regarding the well-defined documentation and very good and quick communication via Slack no inefficient meeting were necessary.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive part of Spawoz is that they delivered us in a very short time a website from the scratched perfectly embedded into Typo3. The deliverables had nearly no bugs during the development, and changes were made quickly.

Everything was understood from the beginning. Useful optimizations were displayed during the development. Also our initial deadline was nearly exactly held, which was really remarkable considering the schedule and the many additional wishes we had during the development phase.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Sometimes the communication and reporting of bugs via Slack was a little bit confusing due to the structure of Slack. Maybe a different management tool like Jira would be better.

Our website was outdated regarding its design. It was not looking very professional, user-friendly or responsive, so we needed an experienced fast-paced developing party who could help us with all our requests and questions in the CMS TYPO3.

I explored several options on both Upwork, Fiverr and Google. Spawoz Technologies distinguished itself in all areas that mattered to us: responsiveness, experience, good reviews, and a reasonable and affordable price.

I had already hired a designer who created Figma files for the web design. Now I needed an experienced party who could take these files and turn them into real pages in TYPO3.

Spawoz did an excellent job in this area, recreating exactly what we asked for, and even more at times when we needed a creative perspective for new elements. If we needed a new page, element or design, outside of what we delivered previously, Spawoz was able to provide professional and quick solutions and the eventual execution.

In total I have worked with 2 different people during this project, but most contact was with Arun, the COO of Spawoz.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our website is live and working! And we are very satisfied with the end result.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication was fast, clear, and professional. Nearly fluent in English too. So all in all a very positive experience communication-wise. Misunderstandings were resolved quickly. If we had (and still have) any website-related questions, Arun answers almost instantly. He is a great help to us.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to execute everything we have asked for. They were a large team of experts who helped us with every TYPO3 request. Also Arun his quick responsiveness was greatly appreciated.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not that I can think of at this particular moment.

Development, implementation and permanent maintenance (24/7/365) and further development of medium to large Typo3 websites as well as the development of Typo3 extensions.

We have worked with many developers throughout our history, locally, nationally and internationally. SPAWOZ is the first and only company where the overall concept is right. The service is excellent, fast and competent. Both, the management and the staff understand what we need and what our customers need. We can exchange ideas at eye level, inspire each other and find the best solutions, usually in record time!

We work together almost daily, using SLACK and MEISTERTASK for our project management. It is also possible to hold video conferences or, if necessary, via personal contact on site, SPAWOZ also travels if required. We work together on a development server. From the initial requirements profile, the idea, the web design and the Typo3 implementation. Usually a rough web design in Adobe Illustraor or Adobe Photoshop is enough to exchange the ideas.

This is followed by the first HTML tests and the testing of the UX design. The Typo3 implementation also takes place in close coordination up to the user acceptance tests and the presentation to the customer or the delivery of the projects and their subsequent monitoring.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I would just like to say one thing, we have been looking after our clients for years, the satisfaction is very high and the clients stay with us and don't want any other agency, that says a lot and I think is information enough.

SLACK, MEISTERTASK as tools, fast, understandable and competent. The management is always involved and it is an absolutely personal and individual service. Communication is relaxed and direct at our own request and we communicate at eye level and see ourselves as partners after all these years. Really all projects have always been delivered on time over the years, usually even faster. This is due on the one hand to the high level of competence at SPAWOZ, but also to the partnership-based way of working; we plan on a realistic scale.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Since we mostly work online, I find the close and personal contact very remarkable. Especially in the Corona pandemic, a high degree of care and humanity was shown here, yet the work was highly professional the whole time and all deadlines were met. This was an absolutely valuable partnership characterized by mutual appreciation, respect, and reliability!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Yes, of course, that's always the case! We even appreciate it! If we're all of the same opinion, then it gets boring. Creativity and innovation need space. The result counts and it does! If we can't give each other our opinion politely and respectfully, then we would fail. That's the only way to get better and survive in the market. With SPAWOZ, that is exactly what is possible!
