The scope of work for the Lune mobile app includes implementing secure Apple sign-in using Firebase with restricted navigation for users who have not linked a Lune device, building a bottom navigation dashboard with Home, My Lune, Gallery, and Support sections, integrating Zendesk Messaging to enable 1-on-1 customer support with chat history and media attachments, and developing a complete gallery experience that displays user details, video statistics, thumbnails from cloud functions, video streaming from Firebase, a custom in-app player, external sharing, and optional editing via the native gallery app.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project produced measurable outcomes by enabling real-world validation of our gaming console hardware and customer experience pipeline during early R&D. The delivered companion app allowed us to pair and test the console, sync data, capture and stream recorded sessions, validate onboarding flows with restricted access for unlinked devices. In addition, the integration of 1-on-1 Zendesk support enabled users to submit questions, share media for troubleshooting, and receive direct assistance, giving us practical insights into customer needs and support readiness. Together, these results confirmed that our console could be supported by a companion app experience, reducing risk ahead of a full public launch.

Paresh and his team demonstrated strong project management throughout the engagement, consistently delivering milestones on time and keeping communication open and proactive. They were very friendly, responsive, and quick to adapt to our requests, using a shared Slack channel to coordinate updates, answer questions, and handle any changes. Their active involvement and reliability made collaboration smooth and ensured the project moved forward without delays.

We needed help with UI/UX design.

What was the scope of their involvement?

SolGuruz provides UI/UX design for our mobile app. Initially, I had a meeting with one of the directors of SolGuruz to discuss what I was looking for. Then, the team that would work on the project joined the meeting, as well as set up a WhatsApp group and discussed ideas over emails and Microsoft Teams. We've also done user research into successful apps we're trying to emulate and improve.

SolGuruz uses Figma for the design work. We've made some adjustments to the original idea as the work progresses.

What is the team composition?

We've worked with four teammates from SolGuruz. Our primary point of contact is Apoorva.

How did you come to work with SolGuruz?

I found SolGuruz through a Google search. I looked at their reviews and previous work. I initially met with them, and they understood what I wanted. I got along well with the team; they seemed like nice people.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent around $4,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with SolGurus in May 2025, and the engagement is ongoing. We've paused the project briefly, but we'll reconvene soon.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

SolGuruz has done a tremendous amount of research into successful apps. Since we're a startup, it isn't easy to measure success, and we've been mainly doing comparisons. However, the team has met our expectations.

How did SolGuruz perform from a project management standpoint?

SolGuruz has met our deadlines and stayed on budget. The team has broken down the work really well. They don't mind if I change my mind about things here and there, even when they've finished something.

We communicate through a WhatsApp group, emails, and weekly Microsoft Teams meetings. After every meeting, we go over the tasks to be done for the following week.

What did you find most impressive about them?

SolGuruz has gone into a high level of detail to ensure the design is accurate for the industry.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The team has strong communication skills and is accurate with their timing. SolGuruz is attentive to detail and highly interested in the project. I can't think of anything for SolGuruz to improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

SolGuruz is a genuine team. Don't be afraid of their interest in your business. They're very open, so be equally open about what you're looking for because they want to make an excellent product.

I'm the engineering manager for a company that builds a platform to connect brands with content creators online.

We needed to accelerate a certain part of our application and spin up a whole new team to offload some of that work.

What was the scope of their involvement?

SolGuruz developed a custom module for our application's email outreach feature. We already knew what needed to be built and had the exact specs. We had a clear scope of design and implementation that needed to be done. We handed the team the product requirements and infrastructure, and they completed the feature set we needed.

The team used Node.js. The module had a one-click integration with Gmail and Outlook and pixel tracking for open and read messages. It also had staggered email sending for spam control.

We worked with two engineers and a project manager from SolGuruz.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from the end of Q2 2025 until the beginning of Q3 2025. The engagement lasted for five weeks.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We increased the number of users who can connect their email provider to our service. The product was recently launched, so we're still gathering data on its success. The engineering piece met our expectations, considering the team had to build the application around a custom framework we had. Integrating it with our production service was straightforward.

How did SolGuruz perform from a project management standpoint?

SolGuruz delivered on time and within the budget. After the initial handoff of documentation and product requirements, we only needed to meet twice a week. Every meeting was quick and concise. When the team got stuck, they were able to unblock themselves rather than waiting for me to wake up because of the time zone difference.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The minimal interaction we needed to do was great.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The handoff for closing the project could have been better. We pushed all the code and some documentation, but it didn't feel like a full handoff. The production documentation was missing, which caused a little bit of a gotcha on my end.

Closing documentation is tricky with any engagement. SolGuruz's code was clean, and I was able to follow it. However, the documentation for production was missing.

What was the scope of their involvement?

SolGuruz has designed the UX/UI of our web and mobile apps. We spent a couple of days helping them understand our business requirements. From there, they've created mock-ups to get a feel for what we were looking for. We had already sketched out a rough skeleton of what we wanted the apps to look like. They have also done some work on our branding, including a basic color palette.

They have not defined user personas because we already have a step-by-step guide. SolGuruz has created high-fidelity mock-ups. They have used Figma for the design work and done a lot of templating. We've done the development ourselves because we have a strict timeline.

Throughout the process, we've worked with two people: Jay, the project manager, and Shyam, our key contact.

We're still in the trial phase of our platform. We've received great feedback, especially about the look of the apps. Everyone has praised the simple and clean designs.

How did SolGuruz perform from a project management standpoint?

They've done a great job managing the project. Jay and I hold monthly reviews. SolGuruz is very responsive. If I have a question or want something done, they're very switched on.

We've used Microsoft Teams for communication and file sharing. We also have weekly stand-up meetings. In the beginning, we met twice a week, but now we only meet once a week. We leave comments inside Figma, and Shyam responds to any questions or clarifications.

What did you find most impressive about them?

SolGuruz listens to our needs. Initially, I wasn't sure what I wanted, but after a few conversations, I knew I wanted something cleaner. They have listened to my feedback and incorporated it into their work. Within a couple of days, they had a product ready for us to review.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They've done an excellent job. If there's any room for improvement, it would be around continuing to listen and clarify things. Sometimes, it's easy to assume what I want. It's good when they ask if that's what I want. They've done that really well, so continuing to do that would be great.

My work with SolGuruz is daily, we have a chat and everytime i find a bug, a problem, a comment from a user or even if i have a new idea for improvment i just send it in the chat, then depending of the subject we move forward on the chat or we fix conference calls.

This is the work flow. For example i asked them a couple month ago a special project to buold a new feature in the app and i needed it urgent, we did some valls i explained what i needed and send some examples. After 2-3 weeks i received a demo, made some correcrtions a couple time and in around a month it was ready and we are very satisfied with the result.

The app and web system we created were designed to improve work, increase sales and facilitate my life as manager. A measure of success for me is when everything works smoothly,  no errors, no bugs, no complains.

I like the work with them because i write my problem on a chat and they are very organized and put it on a shared file we have with status of the project and all tbe details, they even give option to prioratize wich project i need forst to be done.
