Solace supported the development and improvement of our courier and logistics platform, with a focus on booking, dispatch, carrier and driver management, live tracking, ETA functionality, and AI-related features. The scope of work included reviewing and improving the existing platform architecture, developing and refining customer, dispatcher, carrier, driver and super admin functionalities, integrating routing and ETA-related features, improving booking and operational workflows, and supporting the development of an AI assistant layer for future booking and operational automation. Key deliverables included: Improvements to the customer booking and quotation flow Carrier and driver management functionality Dispatcher and super admin enhancements Driver application integration and live tracking functionality Dynamic ETA and geofence-related features Routing and vehicle-related logic Platform bug fixing, testing and performance improvements Development of the initial AI service architecture AI booking assistant functionality including document extraction, missing information handling, validation and vehicle suitability checks Preparation for API/middleware integration between the AI services and the existing platform Ongoing technical support and system refinements The team worked directly with us to understand the existing platform and adapt the new functionality to our operational requirements.

We have an angular application that was only styled for desktop. We needed to make many changes for the application to work correctly on mobile. Solace implemented those changes.

From the start they were excellent communicators. They quickly understood the project and were able to talk through the solutions with me. I feel as though they had a very affordable price as well.

Key deliverables were the mobile functionality of the angular application. Technology was only Angular and related SCSS.

My project was delivered exactly as i wanted in a very fast time frame. It was completed much earlier than I expected

Project Management and Communication were exceptional - they were just as good as the development. We used Asana to manage the project and Zoom for scrum calls.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

How good they were at communicating and how organized they were. This made my project experience very pleasant.

I don't have anything to add here. Again I was 100% satisfied

We initially hired Solace Infotech Pvt Ltd to help us expand a secondary platform that we were building. We ultimately got them to help work on the parts platform as well.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They did a little bit of everything. They did that coding, did some Java programming, built a SQL server, did some database architecture, performed SEO services, and more.

What is the team composition?

Over the past ten years, I probably interacted with 10–11 people. I interacted with the owner of the company and we had a main project manager.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve probably spent $125,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

They began work in November of 2009 and completed the initial project. We keep re-engaging their services over the years, although their most recent project ended in July 2020 and we’ve been in a lull period with them since then.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’re great to work with. I was initially apprehensive about working with an offshore company, but there have been no issues. They’re incredibly professional, courteous, and trustworthy. I trust them completely, a factor that developed over time.

They’re very good at project management. We’ve used BaseCamp and a bunch of other project management tools over the years.

What did you find most impressive about them?

My favorite part of working with them is that they get the job done.

Nobody’s perfect — it took a little time for us to merge our working cultures. I wanted documentation that they initially weren’t prepared for, but they quickly adapted.

I have 100% total faith that their team will always get the job done and exceed all expectations. I’m always happy working with them.

What challenge were you trying to address with Solace Infotech?

We wanted to create a new, international brand using the same database, but we didn’t have the internal capabilities required to do all that we planned for our site. We needed to outsource some of our development needs.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

In the beginning, we tested various cross-platform development tools and weren’t happy with the results. I decided to restart the project from scratch using native development tools. I provided Solace with some screenshot examples of my expectations.

The team first started with the mobile application, then moved to the website. The system was complex, including comprehensive geolocation functionalities that display other relevant users in the same regional area.

In the past, we used PHP and MySQL, but Solace suggested we use CodeIgniter for the website and we followed their advice. The mobile app was developed for iOS using Swift and Android using Java.

What is the team composition?

The project manager was my main point of contact, but sometimes I interacted with developers for more technical concerns. I communicate with the founder and director of Solace for payment needs.

I found them on Elance and contracted them for a specific part of the site. After positive results with that engagement, we decided to continue to work with them.

We have 300,000 users connected to Solace’s site. Since the start of our engagement in 2011, we have experienced a 30% increase in users. We can compete with other dating websites.

How did Solace Infotech perform from a project management standpoint?

Initially, we only communicated through email, but now we have a structured workflow through Basecamp. I got daily messages with updates or concerns. The team had an answer for every question I proposed, there was always a resource available.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They maintain an Excel sheet with weekly entries detailing every task and how long it took to complete. They consistently updated this throughout the partnership and I never lost confidence in their team. I hope that, as I continue to grow, we work together in the future.

Any advice for potential customers?

I recommend communicating through email or Basecamp, avoid in-person meetings or Skype calls.
