The portal is available for all users and contains information generated by ESCMP members. The information platform manages the whole information flow, analyzing the incoming data and providing on that basis accurate forecasts. The project involved development of the mobile app which is a curated matchmaking resource for users and local businesses. Softengi was presented with a task of development of said mobile app, SRS, admin platform, and higher architecture of mobile app.

There were 7 people in Softengi's team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Softengi developed MVP of the product from scratch according to the initial agreement. After MVP was finished, the company continued working with Softengi on bug fixes and fixing flaws. Later, we switched to a different developer.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Softengi often missed deadlines. After project manager was assigned by Softengi, communication has improved greatly, however, there were problems in the performance of the said project manager.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Realized the MVP, built an app from an idea to a working product
Are there any areas for improvement?
Needs to improve communication, punctuality, task setting and organization. Lacks engagement in the project.

Apodytes PTY Ltd is a South African based company that taps into the power of the latest technologies to provide innovative solutions across various industries.

For what projects/services did your company hire Softengi?
We needed a platform to be created that will enable Grade R - 3 learners to be taught how to code.
What were your goals for this project?
Development of a platform where the teacher will assign coding tasks for the learners and the learners would be able to view and complete the tasks assigned to them. The major component was the creation of a Scratch-based pick and drop system for generating and executing the Java code.

How did you select this vendor?
We searched the internet for the list of top developers in VR/AR and AI, and after reviewing their profile and having discussions with a few shortlisted vendors we eventually chose to work with Softengi because they indicated that they will be capable to complete our entire project and within acceptable cost to us.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
We had a few meeting to ensure that all the requirements are clear to both parties. From there Softengi was able to give us the cost and time they will need to deliver the project. We also had weekly meetings to discuss the project status where they were able to update us on the progress and all issues were discussed. We were also provided with access to be able to test and comment as the development was in progress. All in all the project was delivered within the time specified
What was the team composition?
The Softengi team was composed of the account manager and the development team manager, but we were also provided with the contacts for the Development, Testing and UI/UX resources. Our team comprised of the Technology Development Manager, the Project Manager and the AI Engineer.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
The platform was well received by our customer, and it helped to confirm us as the highly innovative company that they'll refer to every time they need innovative solutions.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Both Project Managers had their roles defined at the beginning of the project. There was a mutual goal to finish the project on time and both sided did their part to achieve that.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The speed at which they were able to develop a complex solution. I also liked the fact that they gave us access to the product during the development and that saved a lot of time since we were able to give constant feedback as the development was in progress, instead of having disputes when the product is already finished.
Are there any areas for improvement?
For the next projects we will need to ensure that all as far as possible all the requirements are broken down to the lowes level possible.
