I asked Softception to take a cue from a couple of inspiration websites and subsequently redesign my existing website, then build it on Wordpress, and provide me with documentation on how to keep it updated. They did this within a very quick turnaround, a couple of weeks, and were a joy to work with throughout.

The website launched within weeks of the initial brief, following three rounds of review and amendments, and is functioning well/

Great quick communication and responses to my requests for amendments. Use of Loom to illustrate walkthroughs at a time convenient for me was very much appreciated. Mehak was patience personified.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Fantastic value for money, brilliantly quick and responsive communication. It was a delight to work with the Softception team and I will be bringing other business to them immediately.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Softception could have done differently?

Honestly there's not much more they could have done better. It would have been great if fewer rounds of revisions were necessary to correct small mistakes, like typos or incorrect copy pastes, but I know this is how it goes with a larger team and when work is delegated. Softception took my revisions and feedback and corrected quickly, with grace.

We needed to partner with a development team that could handle web maintenance, new website builds for our clients and everything in between.

Softception acts as our development team. When we onboard new clients, they execute the deliverables the client is looking for, which can include building new websites, website maintenance, migrating and integrating e-commerce platforms, and responding to other tech-related needs daily.

We work with three Softception team members: the owner, a developer who manages the project, and a junior developer.

We found Softception online, interviewed them, and did a trial project, which went well, so we onboarded them.

We hired Softception in January 2022, and the partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Softception executes deliverables very well. They’ve worked on five new build websites for our clients. They also successfully carried out a significant migration for another client. They’ve fielded roughly 400 tech-related requests and successfully executed them. 

How did Softception perform from a project management standpoint?

Softception performs project management very well, and we’ve been happy with the partnership. We use Trello to manage the project and communicate via Zoom and Slack. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m most impressed with their desire to get things right. At the end of the day, if a deliverable doesn’t match the client's request, nothing else matters; Softception does what it takes to ensure they meet expectations, which we appreciate. They see projects through to completion, and they execute high-quality deliverables. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’ve been very happy with the Softception partnership overall. However, we work in different time zones, which can present unique challenges, and they could be more communicative.

I advise communicating with Softception to ensure you’re committed to the same goals and quality standards, which will make for a mutually beneficial relationship.

I’m the founder of a clothing and lifestyle company. We sell online and produce our products in Pakistan.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Softception has designed and developed our entire site on WordPress from scratch. As part of our requirements, we asked them to create a smooth client experience so that users could easily place orders and we could do timely and correct product updates.

The site's main functionality is allowing users to browse our vast product catalog and place orders online from anywhere in the world. Now, Softception is helping us upgrade our website and add advanced features to improve it.

We’ve worked with three people from their team: a designer, a developer, and the founder.

We met them through a referral from a person who had previously worked with them.

We began our working relationship in June 2019, and we’re still engaged.

The website built by Softception is user-friendly and easy to navigate, which has impacted our sales positively. However, it’s not just their service that has brought success to our site, but also how we’ve marketed our business, so it is hard to say how much credit they get. 

How did Softception perform from a project management standpoint?

Softception is timely and goal-oriented. They deliver tasks on time, meeting our targets. Additionally, they provide good services at a reasonable price. We communicate via WhatsApp, email, and Google Sheets.

Softception is a good and reliable team to work with. They’re results-driven, and they understand our objectives.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be great if Softception took the initiative to find ways to improve our site or provide ideas instead of waiting on us. I’m sure they could come up with different solutions to make our site better.

Communication was hard at times. I would tell them where I was located and my time zone, and some of the time I felt unheard. I was asked to complete tasks on multiple accounts when i wasnt available even when i had given my availability.

Deciding factors were the efficiency of the team and the delivery within our test phase of 3months. We go more than what was promised. Highly professional people to work with.

There was a discovery phase of 3 months where we got more than we expected. The team's SEO efforts for my website are remarkable, and we'd love to continue working with Softception. Moreover, the expertise of Google and Bing Paid ads are amazing. Reducing the CPL and increasing the leads at the same time. Our social presence is also enhanced on IG, FB and LI

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We got 500 leads in the first month and then the number was ever increasing. Social media accounts grew by 100% and CPL was reduced by 30%.

We have weekly meetings and they are quite effective.

The professionalism and ability to be available around the clock whenever you need them

I wish there was no discovery period and we could have gone into full potential from the very first month.
