I am a general and product manager for a healthcare company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Smith Brothers Media?

We initially engaged Smith Brothers Media for video production and marketing services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Smith Brothers Media has created a short video for our website. Their team helped us clean up the script and create a storyboard. Smith Brothers Media has filmed, produced, and launched the video. We’re now moving on to the marketing phase, and Smith Brothers Media is discovering our target market, setting up the background software, and researching who we will market to. 

Smith Brothers Media is also conducting analysis and providing guidance on where we should put our marketing dollars. Their team is creating our marketing material for Facebook, our website, and other outlets we want to grow into. 

What is the team composition?

We work with 2–3 people, including a production person and a writer. More individuals have been working behind the scenes, but we haven't communicated with them. 

How did you come to work with Smith Brothers Media?

My boss had previously worked with Smith Brothers Media. We interviewed a few different companies, but we thought Smith Brothers Media would be an ideal fit for our company and decided to move forward with them.

We’ve spent more than $20,000 AUD (approximately $13,000 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in November 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We were very happy with the outcome of the video; our goal was to generate an emotive feeling from our audience, and we’ve succeeded with that. Smith Brothers Media has created a high-quality video, and we’ve been satisfied with everything they do. 

How did Smith Brothers Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Smith Brothers Media delivers on time and is highly available. We know we can call them anytime, and they’ll provide support. We primarily communicate via Zoom. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their team is highly professional, and Smith Brothers Media supplies a personal touch. We know they’re dedicated to the project, and they understand our needs. Their team is experienced and provides good cost for the value. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’re pretty happy with the engagement, although we wish we could meet in person more often. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They'll be a great fit if you’re looking for a business that cares for you and offers a personalized touch. You won't get this level of experience and personal service for this cost anywhere else.

We engaged SBM in 2021 when we wanted to drive more sales though online channels. At that stage, our brand was just 3 years old and we were not easy to find online - and even when we were found online, our website did not convey clear messaging on what we do, nor did it have the professional appearance that we wanted prospects to see as a first impression of working together. 

Our key deliverable was to put iKeep on the map when a business owner was looking for accounting, bookkeeping or payroll support in their business.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since engaging with SBM, online enquiries have become a daily occurrence. This was from a staring point of receiving ZERO before we started this project with them. We are also very happy with the look, feel and content on our website.
