Smart Secretary was brought in as the outsourced digital marketing team for Nusantara, a four-venue Indonesian dining and cultural destination at Nuanu Creative City in Bali, covering Meja 36, Warung 9 Islands, The Mangrove Cafe and The Gallery by Pascal Morabito. The engagement started with a full build phase: tracking and attribution across GA4, Meta and Google, booking flow and Google Business Profile setup for all four venues, email infrastructure and domain authentication, a WhatsApp Business Platform account with approved bilingual templates, and a 90-day plan with forecast covers and cost per cover. From there we took over paid media on Meta, TikTok and Google, running separate Bahasa and English campaigns to reach both domestic day visitors already inside Nuanu and the expat and tourist market across Canggu, Seminyak and Tabanan, supported by offer landing pages and a monthly creative testing cycle. The ongoing retainer centres on email and WhatsApp as the main revenue drivers. We cleaned, segmented and activated an existing database of roughly 30,000 records plus 2,500 competition entrants, and built automated flows for booking confirmations, pre-arrival, reminders, no-show recovery, post-visit review requests and lapsed guest win-back, alongside four to six segmented email broadcasts and three to four WhatsApp campaigns a month. WhatsApp carries the domestic market, with click-to-WhatsApp ads, two-way routing into the reservations team, and opt-in capture built into the website, table QR codes and the venue entrance. Everything is reported against covers, cost per booked cover and database revenue rather than reach, with a weekly written update, a live dashboard and a monthly review.

We’ve also seen a lower cost per result and a higher number of subscribers. For the last report, we had a 12% decrease in cost per lead (CPL) and a 16% increase in engagement rates.
