Skynix built our Magento e-commerce from scratch. They’ve been doing our e-commerce development and web design and development. Skynix has designed, developed and implemented our new platform.

Since we have UX designers in our marketing department, Skynix LLC has tried to make our designs compatible with Magento. We provided the Figma files and they implemented them. For some parts Skynix LLC also gave us insights on how to implement the designs on Magento. They currently provide support for us.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We got positive feedback from the marketing team. Since Magento admin is easy to use, the marketing team can configure promotions easily. We had our first Black Friday with the new platform and saw good results and sales. The marketing team likes working on Magento and we are getting more sales than last year.

Skynix LLC team is responsive and professional. They delivered on time and supported us during the go-live. The team was available to adjust configurations and fix bugs we found after go-live. The first delay was from our side because we changed our requirements. We asked for integration between the e-commerce platform and our ERP and it was more complicated than expected so it caused delays. But the delay was not from Skynix side.

We use Azure DevOps for project management, but most of the communication is through their platform and we have weekly calls. We also use Microsoft Teams, Google Docs and Google Sheets for the project documentation.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Skynix's team is great, professional, and fun to work with. They always have solutions to our problems and are very responsive. They were proactive in addressing some of the issues.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Skynix LLC could have done differently?

Since we struggled to track the budget consumption and work progress at the beginning of the project, they can improve the administrative side of the company. We had a pre-booked bank of time and the work was in progress. We always had to get clarifications from their side to ensure we had the capacity for the project since it was on prepaid time.

At the beginning of the sprint I always had a spike in the budget consumption with no progress. We had to wait until the sprint review to finish the work and balance the budget consumption and work progress. It’s not a technical issue but an administrative one.

Our work with Skynix started with a design questionnaire to clarify our vision & goals. They did an interview and competitor research to learn about our industry and target audience. Based on that they created a visual prototype of our new Home page. We gave them feedback and they incorporated that and then designed the rest of the website. All the designs were done in Figma and delivered to us on time.

The design team was open to feedback and gave us options to choose from. All custom features were done as customizations to 3rd party solutions and bespoke Magento developments so the user experience was smooth and seamless. We are happy with the theme they developed and we have received a lot of good feedback from customers and other companies. Skynix LLC delivered a great ecommerce website for us.

Skynix coding quality, communication and timeliness was unlike anything we've seen from previous devs. In fact I'm not tempted to reach out to anyone we've worked with previously for any reason whatsoever.

We contracted with Skynix to provide support for our ecommerce site that operates on the Magento platform as well as our other promotional site built on Wordpress. Since our relationship has commenced they have done several projects for us all of which were delivered on time and to our complete satisfaction. 

We no longer have an inhouse person to do these tasks, we have outsourced this to Skynix because they can tackle very complex problems. We had them redesign web pages, update the applications on the backend and fix many complicated issues that improved the performance of our site.

Our eccommerce site generates more traffic and more revenue now than it did prior to our engagement with Skynix.

Despite the fact that there is a significant time zone difference they have been very timely with communications and have always responded to our needs. In fact more often than not, they are waiting on something from our end to move a project along.

The rapid response and timely completion of tasks are very impressive but the most impressive quality of this company is the vast knowledge of their staff.

Not really, my only negative feedback is I can't place a face on the person I'm communicating with but I'm sure I'd understand the reasons why that is. Other than that I have nothing to add.

Initially, I needed a webdev services, in order to create a beautiful landing page. They provided this. Further, when it came to marketing - they offered their knowledge of AI and bots-building to help me automate sending my marketing messages to my audience. Last but not least, they always provided me support on whatever changes or amendments I had ever had, which left me fully focused on my business ensuring all the infrastructure worked seamlessly.

It is very easy to measure. Since cooperating with Skynix I was able to grow my business three times, and that's despite COVID, despite of war. They always backed me up, which ensured me in the stability, and there had been no fail ever.

After using Skynix, I would never use them again. They're very unprofessional and did not complete the tasks due to a lack of ability.

Following a number of queries raised, they became very unprofessional and money-hungry.

Initially, they appeared organized and professional, this soon began to deteriorate.
