Please describe your company and your position there. I am the co-founder at Dzsooq. Our company Dzsooq deals with sale and purchase of old and new products online. Our business is specially based of Middle East country, Algeria & Saudi Arabia.

We hired skydevelopers to develop a Website and a mobile app for the classified project, where users can buy and sell their items online. we wanted to develop a platform where we charge no commission from customers.

we also wanted that users can directly communicate with each other and chat with each other real time and can share their contact number with each other

What were your goals for this project?

our main goal for this project was to develop a platform for users across Saudi Arabia and Algeria to sell and purchase used goods. we don't wanted to charge a single penny to our customers for this service.

How did you select this vendor?

We came across skydevelopers softwares via google search. Earlier we had a very bad experience with another seller. Skydevelopers have presented me a good presentation for the project development and implementation. I asked about their previous work and their timelines to complete Website. I was sure Skydevelopers was my right choice.

The project included website development and native Android app development.

For both solutions, Skydevelopers had already prepared the project requirement document (SRS) for development in detail before we granted them project. Once the project was finalized, they came up with the mockups and designs of the app and website.

I have reviewed the designs. they updated me weekly of the project progress. they used bitbucket for the project code upload. The website was developed in PHP Zend framework. The vendor didn't provided marketing .

What was the team composition?

For the website, the team consisted of 2 Backend developers with database knowledge, 1 Front-end developer. and 1 Project manager who also communicated with me.

Two android developers were involved in the mobile app project. 1 backend developer and 1 UI developer and 1 project manager who was communicating with me was involved in the app project.

For both projects, the size of team remained same during the development.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

For the website, at the start, we didn't have enough visitors, but after 3-4 months on website we have significant number of visitors and they are continuous increasing due to the SEO search engine optimization work.

I have received good feedback from our customers about the mobile app, still there are some more areas we need to cover and provide more features in the app.

After the mobile app development, we had another company for the marketing part, we don't have significant progress in the marketing part so the quantity of users are still missing. I am expecting to boost marketing in upcoming months. 

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The management of project was good, the communication was good, we had communication over Skype & slack, sometimes we even communicated through whatsapp.

they used bitbucket for project files upload, time4vps vps server for hosting, go-daddy for domain. android studio for development. they have responded very positively to my feedback's. we don't had any issue in language barriers or time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The team composition is very good, they provided good quality work and understood my requirements very easily. They are not money-minded and they can do some updates work without any additional cost.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Everything was good, still I would suggest to reduce the time of project to at least by 10-20%.

We engaged Skydevelopers Softwares to develop an e-commerce portal. We needed a tool that could list our products online and help us track sales.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to build a system that would increase sales, manage our customer interactions, and make some of our other processes more efficient.

We initially reached out to 10 companies, including several multinational corporations. We eventually narrowed our list down to three, mainly based on cost. We chose Skydevelopers Softwares for two reasons. The first is that their founder personally came for a discovery meeting, which showed their high level of interest in the project. The second is that their team seemed talented and eager to deliver the product that we needed.

They developed a sophisticated e-commerce platform using Zend Framework. Their team built a variety of features that give us the ability to sell our furniture online. After finishing the platform, they offered us six months of free website maintenance. They provided digital marketing support as well.

I don't have specific details about the team because of their internal privacy policy, but I can say that approximately four people worked on the project.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

With the help of Skydevelopers Softwares, I was able to move my completely offline business to an online platform. In the beginning, I was getting a small number of leads and very low traffic to the site. When I handed over marketing responsibilities to their team, both site traffic and sales started to increase each month. They also greatly improved the site’s ranking on search engines.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We connected over Skype to discuss progress, and they shared code using Bitbucket. They were communicative from start to finish and delivered everything on time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their prices were affordable, and their team is talented. They worked hard and were professional in their approach. Also, I was impressed with their ability to understand the project and my requirements.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I personally feel that they’re the best company to work with and that there are no drawbacks to partnering with them.

We sell posters online and have largest collection of posters of more than 100+ categories of 5+ different sizes. We sell Canvas, Regular, Laminated & Framed Posters of all sizes.

We wanted to develop a web portal through which we sell Canvas, Regular, Laminated & Framed Posters of all size, we have hired Skydevelopers to create a web portal for the same.

What were your goals for this project?

Our main goal was to develop a portal through we can bring together the designers and buyers of those designs at one place. We wanted to sell the posters to whole country.

How did you select this vendor?

We have googled out for the list of companies that has good experience in web development fields. After discussing with the team we found Skydevelopers could complete the project in our budget and time frame, also they had already developed similar kind of project and they were providing 6 months free maintainance. So we finalized the deal with Skydevelopers.

Initially for 1st week their UI designer designed wire-frames of the project as guided by me, 2nd step they designed the Photoshop PSD designs of each page of the project which took another 1 week. After my approval they did all the coding and back-end work and the project was ready for testing in 45 days. After successful beta testing we launched in project.

Team had 1 UI designer, 2 Fronted developer and 2 backed developer and I project manager.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Project had increased sales of my posters and we had 20,000 registered customers in the first year of launch of project, thanks to the efforts of the marketing team. As I mentioned they provided 6 months free maintenance support to tackle all bugs that came.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was very effectively managed project manager communicated regularly on daily basis during the Mock-up and UI designing time, and them they updated me weekly of the progress of the work, all the codes were shared with me through bit-bucket and we use time4vps servers for our hosting needs.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Everything was good, the project was completed on time, project manager kept me updated with the progress timely. The project budget was affordable. The best thing is that they have made the website very attractive and user-friendly as expected.

Are there any areas for improvement?

The time to complete the work they gave was 3 months approx, I suggest to reduce this time.
