I decided on SJ when I spoke with the CEO fo the company and is located here in the United States. I can always get a hold of somebody during my time if need be and the circumstances call for it. This is why they are my go to people.

The scope was to help a brick and mortar store create an POS system that fit their needs. We were able to do so by customizing WooCommerce. We were also able to connect a thermal printer along with using an ipad in their space. Now everyone is able to use online commerce system and fits all the customer needs.

I've been working with them for some time now and have always 2-3 people working on my stuff. 1 consistant perosn, then the others rotate depending on availability.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
There aren't any metrics on the project we delivered. It is more on sales that is generated for the store, but that has nothing to do with the digital marketing. The fact that many are able to jump on the system and use it all at once is a success to to me and the client.

I have open communication with them all day long. I use ASANA for my project management with them. My chat tool is Slack. And worse case we reside to email.

The attention they give you as a client is good. I have direct communciations with the CEO andd managers when we need to. In my business when things aren't going right we need to make things right as quick as possible to get the work out.

I don't believe so. This is why I stick with them. Because we can always put a game plan together to get stuff done. Weather it's next day service or a bigger project.

We didn’t have any internal developers on our team, so we brought them in as a partner to help write the actual code for our website.

What was the scope of their involvement?
They worked on both front- and backend of a variety of web-based platforms for us, including our customized CRM, our company’s intranet, and a few different proprietary softwares that we provide for our customers. All of the development was done using WordPress, but it’s completely customized and includes a lot of plug-ins to integrate with other systems.
What is the team composition?
We work with their QA team, a few developers, designers, their foreman, and the owner of the company.
How much have you invested with them?
The total cost of our work with them has been somewhere around $30,000–$40,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
They were the existing provider when I joined the company in October 2019, and we have continued to work together since then.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve been pleased with the designs and capabilities of the finished products that they deliver. Any time you work with a third party, there’s always a concern that they will misunderstand the requirements or make things take longer than you’d like them to, but we haven’t experienced those problems with them at all.
How did SJ Innovation LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
There was some frustration around the relationship when I joined, but it was just a result of the fact that no one on our internal team had a good way of interfacing with their team. Because I have a tech background, I was able to focus on communicating with them and making sure they understood our goals and we understood what they were working on.
That change made the relationship a hundred times better almost immediately, and we have been completely satisfied with their management of the project since then.

Overall, they have been an excellent partner to work with. I really can’t give them a glowing enough review for all the improvements they have made for our team.

Everyone can do a little better, and I think they can continue to get a little better every day, but there’s nothing specific that I would pinpoint as a serious problem.

Typically, these obstacles were the result of data quality or availability, coming from our end.

Create a tour app for The Official Tour of St. Patrick’s Cathedral that will work on every smart phone. We gave them an impossible task.
