Scalepoint provides a SaaS platform to insurance clients, and colleagues from Sii support us in developing and maintaining it. Their responsibilities include ensuring the platform remains stable and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements. They also help implement new features, onboard new clients, and ensure the platform stays up to date.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are very pleased with the Sii team members. They are professional, detail-oriented, and quick to acquire the industry-specific knowledge needed to work in our domain. They demonstrate a strong ability to understand complex problems and consistently deliver high-quality work. Their flexible and collaborative working style fits well with our company culture.

We measure success based on several key metrics, including system uptime and availability, overall customer satisfaction with the platform, and the number of issues or minor bugs reported over time. These indicators help us track both stability and user experience.

We havent use Sii for specific project management activities. But they are apart of our development team setup and are working close with our CPH based colleagues. Together we estimate and agree on timelines, and it is in general working fine.

Sii is highly effective at recruiting new team members when needed. They typically respond quickly, and the quality of the candidates is consistently high. New colleagues integrate smoothly into our culture and are quick to understand complex problem areas. There is always a strong sense of trust between our teams. We also experience low staff turnover, which strengthens our overall competence and allows us to focus our energy on development rather than continuously onboarding new team members. This stability has a positive impact on both productivity and team cohesion.

SII has brought alot of value to our processes, internal team and been an important part to achieve our vision to created sustainable and reusable features and solutions for our plattform:

I am the Chief Technology Officer manager of Eastend - an e-commerce group from TriCity. Eastend have been present on the market for over 20 years offering dozens of top clothing brands from all over the world. We suggest to our customers what and how to wear: starting from composing stylisations based on the latest trends, through organising our own photo and video sessions and presenting ready-made solutions to our customers.

We sell sneakers and clothing, systematically strengthening our position on the international market. Our offer includes products of well-known and respected brands. We know what to wear and are happy to share this knowledge with others, proposing styles in line with current trends.

For what projects/services did your company hire Sii Poland, and what were your goals?

We wanted to take our e-commerce store to the next level. Previously, to handle each stage of the sales process we have been using custom applications, usually written by Eastend engineers. Application development took a long time and was difficult to maintain.

We wanted to be technologically ready to grow fast and launch new markets and platforms using well-known technology and ready-made modules. Our goal was also to combine all processes in one place which would allow us to operate an e-commerce store comprehensively from A to Z, making the process easier and faster than before.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We have chosen Sii Poland because of its global-scale operations, a vast portfolio of products and services, and optimal quality/price ratio. From the range of offers we have received, this ratio turned out to be the most favourable. Moreover, the broad spectrum of activities (not only in programming), reassured us that Sii Poland would be the right support and reliable partner for our e-commerce project.

Generally speaking, Sii Poland implemented an e-commerce platform based on Adobe Magento solution integrated with CRM, ERP, and payment systems. The solution enables sales for abroad countries (Germany and Ukraine) directly from our e-commerce store or via marketplaces like Allegro or Amazon.

They have started our cooperation with an in-depth analysis of our business needs. The next step was the preparation of high-quality UX mock-ups of the new interface for the client. The collaboration with Sii developers went really well, they have a lot of experience, which was clearly visible from the very beginning. Sii engineers have carried out the backend activities, which speeded up the website and frontend activities, which resulted in a modern and user-friendly design.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The biggest benefit is the Magento 2 system itself - it is a professional environment for e-commerce stores. Using this solution, we can control the entire sales process from ordering the product, through packaging, shipping, and possible returns from clients. Every step is handled in one place - the store’s administration panel.

However, if we need new features in the future, Magento offers several additional packages and plugins that can be customized according to our needs. The system is clear, customer-friendly, and meets the RWD principles. Thanks to moving our store to Magento 2 new markets are opening for us. An integrated e-commerce platform enables fast sales to new regions.

At the very beginning, Sii Poland Experts showed remarkable professionalism by conducting an in-depth analysis of our needs in the project’s first stage. In addition, we were also impressed by the UX model of the new store. It is worth mentioning that the engineers worked in the modern Scrum and Agile methodology, thanks to which the planning and development ran smoothly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

From the developer's perspective, the most unique and impressive was the development itself and the entire process of its management. During our cooperation, Sii engineers applied modern technologies and good programming practices. They willingly shared expert knowledge, explaining and justifying proposed solutions.

There were no such areas, the cooperation was very successful for both sides.

We needed help building a team to take care of the tests of Android builds on a virtual target using CuttleFish.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Sii Poland has built a team that takes care of the tests of Android builds on a virtual target. The team’s goals are to investigate technical possibilities, define test methods and tools, implement and maintain the toolchain, and execute different types of tests on servers. Overall, Sii Poland is responsible for the whole process, from developing and adopting tools to designing, creating, and executing automated tests to reporting the test results.

We’ve been able to hundreds of test cases for system tests including feature testing, smoke tests, merge gating, regression.
