 The engagement has been completed. While there were some delays along the way, the core components of the platform were delivered, and we’re now moving forward with internal testing, optimization, and launch preparations.

The core components of the project were ultimately completed, including the development of the home seller portal, contract marketplace, CRM integration, and user dashboard. These elements collectively form the foundation of our digital real estate platform and demonstrate that the technical objectives of the scope were largely met.

However, it’s important to note that the project experienced significant delays beyond the original 12-week timeline. These delays had a noticeable impact on our operational schedule—particularly our go-to-market efforts, internal workflows, and lead generation initiatives.

Despite the setbacks, the platform now provides:

A centralized system for offer generation and contract listing
Integrated tools for seller engagement and investor visibility
CRM-powered workflows that support sales and communication pipelines
While the extended timeline posed challenges, the completed platform serves as a functional launchpad for our continued growth and digital operations. However, in execution, there were consistent delays in meeting milestone deadlines, and the originally proposed 12-week timeline extended significantly beyond expectations.

While some communication tools were in place (such as Slack and email), project updates were often inconsistent, and there was a lack of proactive progress reporting, which made it difficult to plan around development milestones. Deliverables were not always completed in the sequence or timeframe agreed upon, leading to downstream effects on our operations, particularly marketing launch readiness and internal onboarding.

In terms of responsiveness, the team was generally open to feedback and willing to implement changes when flagged. However, response times varied, and there were periods of minimal visibility into task progress, requiring additional follow-ups on our end to stay aligned. The pricing was competitive for the scope of work, and the team did take on a complex build from scratch. While we appreciated Shiftr Agency’s willingness to take on a complex project and their collaborative attitude, the overall experience was affected by missed deadlines, inconsistent communication, and the operational impact of delays. The platform was eventually delivered and reflects the core vision, but the process required more oversight and follow-up than expected.  Yes, there are several areas where Shiftr Agency could improve to deliver a stronger client experience moving forward:

Adherence to Timelines:
The most critical issue was the consistent delay in deliverables. Meeting agreed-upon timelines is essential, especially when delays have a direct impact on business operations, marketing schedules, and team coordination. More realistic time estimates, combined with proactive risk management, would make a big difference.
Project Visibility & Communication:
There were periods where communication was minimal, and it was difficult to assess the status of ongoing tasks. We would have appreciated more frequent progress reports, milestone check-ins, and clearer visibility into what was completed versus what was still in progress. Even a weekly update could have helped manage expectations and build trust.
Clarity in Scope vs. Execution:
While the team understood the big picture, there were times when the execution felt misaligned or incomplete relative to the original plan. A tighter connection between scoped deliverables and actual outcomes—paired with clearer documentation—would help ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Client-Centered Planning:
In some cases, we had to follow up repeatedly or re-explain previously discussed details. Building in structured feedback loops and internal accountability checkpoints would create a smoother, more efficient workflow for both sides.

This project aimed to redesign and develop the Adiona Technologies website before the February 2025 launch. The goal is to improve the user experience by simplifying the design, enhancing functionality, and incorporating features that align with Adiona's brand values and product offerings. This project allowed a website designer (Shiftr) to be Adiona’s partner for our product launch.  We were price-sensitive for this initial project but envisioned an opportunity for a long-term partnership.

The scope of work included UX/UI design, app architecture, and full mobile development. Key deliverables included interactive Figma design frames capturing the premium look and feel of the brand, a functioning mobile app MVP built for both design integrity and scalability, and a development handoff structured to support future feature iterations. Shiftr managed both the design and development phases, serving as a true end-to-end technology partner throughout the build process.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Shiftr successfully delivered a complete mobile app MVP and Figma design system that brought the Yeraz App brand to life visually and functionally. The app's design was polished enough to be shared with early investors and used in pitch materials. We were able to move from concept to a tangible, demo-ready product, which was a critical milestone for our pre-launch phase and Founding Member fundraising campaign.

As a solo founder navigating app development for the first time, having a team that was patient, clear, and collaborative made a significant difference.

A more structured onboarding process at the start of the project — such as a formalized project brief or kickoff document — would have helped streamline early alignment. That said, any gaps in communication were quickly resolved and did not negatively impact the overall outcome.

The team used the existing design and functionality to create a whole new admin design, including the latest methodology for UI and improved the existing UX to make it clearer and less reliant on customer support. It’s beautifully intriguing, easy to navigate, and refreshing from the typical industry website. The team was wonderful at communicating and receptive to my feedback.
