I hired Seota to design and develop the first website for our company. We experienced a sudden spike in sales as demand quickly increased for a new market opportunity that is now our business focus. I had a very good feeling about working with him from the start. I was happy to learn that Seota focuses so much effort on local small businesses as I have a passion for doing the same in my entrepreneur group.

The project began with a discussion between Bill, Seota's owner, and me. He later followed up with a questionnaire to help my company determine our goals for the web design and final product. After reviewing our responses, he provided a contract and assigned a team. The team provided 1 mock-up. We provided feedback, and a 2nd mock-up was provided and approved. Our companies were in frequent contact throughout the web development process as my team created and sourced most assets simultaneously.

The team consisted of a project manager, lead designer, and another developer or 2. Communication was very streamlined as I prefer. I mainly worked with the owner and lead designer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The most successful outcome from the project is having a company website that we are proud of. It exceeds our expectations, and is far better than anything that we could have developed on our own. We receive positive comments from both competitors and customers.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was incredibly effective and timely. They finished the project on my timeline and could have completed it earlier if we had existing assets. Again, this was the first website for our company. I exchanged emails with the team multiple times per week. Their response time was fast. Seota is very accessible.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I am most impressed by their genuine desire to be helpful and to position their clients for the best outcomes in our business endeavors. Seota is incredibly knowledgeable, and happy to share expertise to address any questions throughout the project. They push for optimal outcomes. They tackle problems that are even slightly out of project scope - delivering more value than what is required. Their pricing is very reasonable. Seota is a good group of people/experts who have a very personable and professional approach to business.

Are there any areas for improvement?

It would be helpful for Seota to create a content checklist with ideal specs such as recommended image sizes. This could be given to a client at the start of a project so that they can not only get content - but get it in the right format for optimization. Lastly, I suggest a conference to walk clients through the admin tools of a new website just before launch. This will help clients to better help themselves with editing and content additions as our businesses progress.

We were looking for the right company because we’ve been going through multiple SEO companies over the last few years. We wanted a company that could help us move forward and eliminate some of the problems we were having, as well as those we didn’t know we were having.

I get leads almost daily now, which wasn’t the case before. We’ve already hit our numbers for the year, which is incredible. Bill gives advice where he doesn’t need to. I can’t say enough good things about him. 

Everybody on my team has been impressed with Bill. He does exactly what he says he’s going to do with no complaints. Doing business with Seota Digital Marketing is amazing.

Bill responds incredibly quickly to any emails or phone calls. I’ve never seen anything like it. With other companies, they respond within 24 or 48 hours. With Bill, I haven’t gone a day without something being fixed.

If I send an email because I noticed a word that I didn’t like or because I want to make a change, he responds between 15–20 minutes. His level of communication and execution is incredible. We also have monthly calls where Seota Digital Marketing goes over the analytics with me.

Their response times and how fast they get work done are impressive. It feels like you truly are the only client working with them.

No, there are no areas of improvement.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since it’s such a new website, I don’t have any metrics to share yet. However, I can say that internally, we’re extremely pleased with the end result. They listened to us and understood what we were trying to do. The design and the quick turnaround certainly achieved everything we were looking for.

They nailed the design; there was very little redesign work required. Having built several websites for other projects, I can tell you that it’s extremely unusual that they got the design the first time around.

Seota Digital Marketing was very responsive and willing to do everything we wanted in a timely fashion. We actually launched about five days sooner than we had originally specified, so they kept the project moving. We had a couple of short phone calls, but most communication was via email.

Their responsiveness and understanding of small businesses set them apart from other providers. They didn’t try to push things on us that a small business doesn’t need, so that was very much appreciated.

No, we were very happy with the process.

Definitely do your research and know what you’re looking for, because that speeds up the process. That is true for any website build.

I provided their team with a list of the pages and color schemes I wanted on the platform. To decide which visuals I wanted, they sent me different images to review. Throughout the process, their team offered great ideas. I had a few challenges trying to set up credit card processing services. Once I got approval from the merchant processing services company, I sent all the information to Seota Digital Marketing and their team integrated the capabilities into the website.

They took what I imagined for the website and brought it to life. I’ve received really good responses to the site. So far, everyone has loved it. The product has been easy to use. There haven’t been any issues navigating or finding the platform and I just got my first sale, which was exciting.

The team at Seola Digital Marketing evaluated the website’s speed, look, and SEO. They went into a comprehensive search into how the site was built, providing a report that validated my thoughts. As a result of their findings, their team created a WordPress website for us.

Seola Digital Marketing created plug-ins and a unique pricing tool. Our business has variable pricing and membership-based models. The pricing is across customer frequency and multiple US locations. Members in Houston will pay a different price than users in Las Vegas. Even within Houston, customers can select different membership plan options.

Our older website didn’t address all of the pricing differences, making it difficult for user navigation. The newer backend allows us to add new locations and pricing options that instantly push out to our website.

We were pleased with the website once it launched. It’s faster than our previous platform. We’ve seen over 300% increase in traffic from Google My Business and organic search listings. Overall feedback has been extremely positive. The team at Seola Digital Marketing continues to do some digital marketing work for us.

While it took a year for our old site’s design, it took Bill a little over a week to get the work done.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve worked with a lot of web developers over the years. When Bill told me that he could get a design and development project started within a week, I frankly didn’t believe it. I was extremely impressed that he delivered on that.

With any development issue we had, it would be fixed within 24 hours. I’ve never worked with a company that executed resources as quickly as Seola Digital Marketing. Their team is excellent at the SEO component, but the development piece is what we truly needed. They’ve hit it out of the park.

Not that I can think of. It’s been extremely positive, so hopefully, nothing comes up.

I have development and design experience. What makes our partnership work is that I’m highly responsive to them. Their team works at all hours. The faster you get back to them, the better the quality of work they’ll execute.

Early on, I let them know that I wouldn’t be a bottleneck for their process, and I delivered on that. Whether it’s working with Seota Digital Marketing or another company, a lot of people use overseas support. If the customer misses responding to them, it can set the project back. Response time is crucial.

We had a website that was less than a year old. We came to understand that it was already several upgrades behind for WordPress. Also, we rebranded and needed to update our website accordingly.

Seota Digital Marketing pitched a custom Shopify website to keep us up to date and save money in our efforts to stay current. We provided assets and a brand summary, which described where we wanted to go. Our WordPress website was a launching pad, but their team managed a lot of updating to represent our brand’s feeling. Their team transferred a good part of our layout onto a Shopify platform but also updated content. They implemented new photography, messaging, and graphic elements.

From an administrative standpoint, this website has been much easier than our original WordPress platform. I’ve been excited about that. Seota Digital Marketing built a much more intuitive product so that has been a win as well. We’re not going to have to do as many updates that we would’ve had to complete on our old site. In the not so distant future, we’ll be able to actually lower our monthly costs by using the Shopify platform.

We communicated by email. Bill and I had phone calls too. Seota Digital Marketing was responsive. There were multiple iterations in our efforts to convey our ideas to their teams. When communication was not clear in email, we connected by phone.

Seota Digital Marketing turned around iterations quickly. We were pleased that their team iterated responsively. When we had communication concerns, their leadership stepped in.

There could’ve been more discussion outside of email to help drive clarity quicker.

Be as clear as possible with communication, details, and brand message. I provided visual assets, which was helpful for them. They understood our brand feel quickly because we provided visuals to incorporate into the platform in our summary.

Look - I’ve been advertising and marketing online since google ppc was a nickel. I have literally spent MILLIONS. I’ve literally made EVERY mistake possible, so please, believe me when I tell you - Bill and his team at Seota KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.

I had a complicated membership site that used clickfunnel sales pages and a separate shopping cart plus about a hundred plug ins that had no business being there. We have over 16K members and we needed to migrate them to the new build while keeping their membership intact…it was nuts.

But he did it…and no matter how difficult the task (and this is important) Bill treated it like it was no problem….and trust me…there were a few times he probably thought we weren’t going to make it…but he didn’t let me know.

We have a saying…don’t tell me about the labor - just show me the baby. Bill showed me the baby and my membership and Instructors are EXTREMELY happy and impressed. So, I don’t know what you’re looking for…but the answer is YES. Go with these guys…and if I can give more stars, I would.

I have seen a significant increase in my web presence including site visits resulting in more onlilne sales and bookings. My clients have also commented on the site's ease of use and professional appearance.

We had a few face to face meetings but most of the communication was accomplished via email. My edits, requests and input was addressed accurately and efficiently within 24 hours.

Like most small business we have used a lot of web agencies over the years. Seota is the most professional and responsive digital agency we've found in our 22 years in business.

We priced out the project to a couple different vendors, but Seota was able to provide excellent references and examples of work they have performed in the past.

They built our site based on an existing template. They worked with our POS company to discuss API access and integration. The website was built with specific conditions in mind that required custom CSS and PHP.

What was the team composition?

I worked directly with our account manager Bill. He was quick to respond and very knowledgeable. He provided good feedback and was able to clearly communicate our goals to the lead developer. They also had other developers for small changes that were done almost immediately.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This project has eliminated the need for data entry on our POS system for appointments. It also reduces errors. These appointments can quickly be transferred to invoices once completed, as well. The process has become streamlined.

The project manager was spot on with all his deadlines for completion. There were no delays.

I am really impressed with the high level of communication this company provided. I rarely had to wait more than 5 minutes to receive a response to an email.

I think the debugging could be a little more thorough. We did have small issues here and there, but once found they were immediately corrected.

We set out to create a new web presence and make a web application easier for our employees and clients to use. Our current web application was dilapidated and barely getting us by. We wanted a solution that would drive our business forward.

When searching for vendors, we try to find an agency that fits our corporate culture, cost, and integrity. Seota gave us a great price and was upfront about how they would handle billing.

The project launched on schedule and has experienced zero downtime, delivering both support for our business integrity and expanded client functionality. Seota did such a great job responding to changes on the fly and resolving unforeseen issues that we signed an extended service agreement with them.

They handled the process effectively, communicating through Skype, Zoom, and email. When we had meetings, no time was wasted, which helped them deliver on time and budget. They were even able to adapt as our business needs changed during the project.
