Our main goal was to get our website ranking on Google and start attracting potential clients in Montreal. What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since our website is new, it’s too early to measure rankings or traffic. So far, we’re happy with the progress on SEO, bilingual optimization, and the customized AI chatbot. The customized AI chatbot has been a pretty extensive development project and definitely one of the biggest milestones so far. It’s required a lot of planning and customization to fit our business needs. We’re happy with how it’s turned out, and the SEO work is still ongoing.

So far, their project management has been good. They’ve been responsive, kept us involved in the process, and have been open to our feedback. The major deliverables, including the AI chatbot, have been handled well. Since the SEO work is still ongoing, we’re continuing to work closely with their team. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What we’ve been most impressed with is their willingness to go above and beyond what was originally agreed upon without charging us extra. There have been things we haven’t even considered, and they’ve taken the initiative to suggest improvements and put in the additional work. It’s refreshing to work with a company that genuinely cares about the outcome rather than just sticking to the original scope.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Seo Gorillas helped us with our website design, development, hosting, and implementation from start to finish. We provided them with some higher-level design ideas, but we left most of the work to them. I only asked that the platform be easy to follow and requested a few specific landing pages. 

Since we are a brand new company, we didn’t have any brand guidelines for them to follow, but we did have a logo and other marketing materials for them to use. They put together the written and visual content and some video content that showcases our products for our landing pages. 

They implemented an e-commerce functionality where customers can order and pay directly on the website. There is also a function that allows us to track inventory and orders from our end of the website. 

Now they assist with SEO efforts so we can get as many website hits as possible. They also help with our social media campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter that connect back to our website.

I’d prefer not to share specific metrics, but the feedback from our customers has been very positive. We’re doing a good amount of business on the site; I’d say it increased our business by 50%–60%.  

That proves to me that the website is successful, and users can leverage the functionalities on the website.

How did Seo Gorillas perform from a project management standpoint?

Seo Gorillas exceeds my expectations in terms of project management. We had a lot of initial conversations and meetings over Zoom and exchanged emails going into the project. In the beginning, we had weekly and daily status calls, and they used a platform to review and share documentation. 

Now, we have a touchpoint call every few weeks to see how everything is going from each end. Generally, we don’t communicate as much at this point because we’ve moved into the management side of the project.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

It has turned into a really great partnership. Seo Gorillas is flexible, accommodating, and professional — they’re very easy to do business with. 

I think they’re one of the best companies I’ve worked with in terms of a positive work partnership — there is always someone available to take my calls and texts.

I don't think I have any advice because Seo Gorillas already has a process in place — they really guide their customers throughout the journey. You don't have to guess and ask questions once you work with them. 

If you want to build a website, they will provide a questionnaire, and they're very upfront with everything that they require. They'll even ask for examples of websites that you like. They’re very easy to work with.
