I’m the founder of Emany, a web-based application that creates a learning and working environment for students, primarily in writing and mathematics.

What challenge were you trying to address with Selleo?

I hired Selleo to help assess, estimate, and structure the MVP roadmap, as well as to design and build a prototype to validate the product’s market fit. An important part of the engagement was also analyzing potential extensions that could increase the competitiveness of the product, running initial demo sessions with prospects, collecting feedback, and quickly implementing improvements to attract new customer segments.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The scope covered end-to-end design and development of a web-based MVP. Selleo delivered a system that includes a structured user and profile management setup, as well as dedicated environments for different user roles. A key component is a text and math editor that allows students to complete assignments directly within the platform. On the other side, teachers are provided with a dashboard to manage assignments, review submissions, and handle grading processes. The platform also includes AI-powered features that support the core value proposition of the product. Additionally, a main dashboard with statistics was implemented, along with UX/UI design focused on intuitive and accessible user flows.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Selleo has delivered a fully functional MVP within a short timeframe, which has allowed us to quickly validate our market assumptions and start gathering feedback from real users. We’ve received a lot of positive feedback. The quality of the code and architecture gives us a strong foundation for further development without accumulating technical debt. The collaboration with the design team has also resulted in a product that is both functional and user-friendly.

Selleo’s project management has enabled us to move quickly and adapt to feedback from testers and potential clients. Regular meetings have helped maintain a steady delivery pace and ensured alignment. The processes have been clear, estimations have been transparent, and the team has consistently delivered according to the agreed timelines.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What stands out about Selleo is the level of ownership the team takes. They are fully committed and proactively suggest improvements, optimizations, and new features. Their ability to cover the entire product development process end-to-end makes a big difference, especially from a founder’s perspective, as it allows me to focus on strategy rather than day-to-day execution.

We engaged Selleo to develop and launch the platform. We needed to build a scalable, secure, and user-friendly web application from scratch, including frontend and backend infrastructure. We also needed to implement custom features such as candidate verification, subscription-based access, and intuitive dashboards for employers and candidates.

Selleo has developed the platform from scratch, delivering a fully functional, secure, and scalable web application tailored to our needs. Their scope includes frontend and backend development, with a focus on creating user-friendly interfaces for employers and candidates. They’ve also implemented core features like candidate verification, subscription management, and search/matching algorithms. The team has handled rigorous testing and deployment support. The main deliverables include the complete platform, custom features, secure authentication systems, an admin panel, and post-launch optimizations.

We started working with them in June 2025 and closed the first development in October 2025. We will keep working with them for further developments.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve received videos for new deliverables on the platform and active testing through appropriate platforms. These have allowed us to ensure the developed product is aligned with the list of specs we asked for in the initial phase. The final outcome has been the official launch of the platform. We’ve also received informal feedback from clients and testing from our teams.

How did Selleo perform from a project management standpoint?

Selleo has delivered even before the agreed timeline. We’re extremely satisfied. We communicate through virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their capacity to understand our business needs and convert those into developments is impressive. We’re also impressed with their availability to answer our questions and concerns. They always deliver top results on time. We also appreciate their post-delivery support; after the first deployment, they’ve always been available to support us.

Converted merchants from a legacy portal that was prone to issues due to bugs and poor usability. As a result of migrating merchants to the new Selleo-built portal new merchant onboarding was streamlined and support tickets reduced

High attention to detail. Selleo doesn't rush to get something done; they get it done correctly and when a better way/approach is discovered they bring to our attention -- even if it would be harder/more work

Are there any areas for improvement or something Selleo could have done differently?

With 20/20 hindsight perhaps we could have established a design system and components library that would be leveraged across all interfaces -- however that wasn't the priority at the onset. The priority was developing business value not perfect architecture

Our SaaS solution makes it easier for our customers to manage their risks. But developers must understand this complex topic. Selleo could improve their knowledge there a bit, but this also something we at Alyne could improve more, i.e. transfer knowledge.
