Combined with a genuinely easy, collaborative team to work with, they've become a great extension of our in-house capacity.

Tightening up QA before previews are sent our way would help — we occasionally catch issues that ideally would've been caught on their end. Turnaround on deliverables has also been inconsistent at times. Neither has been a dealbreaker, but both are areas where more consistency would help.

We've increased new leads with the help of ideas for opt-in flows and nurtured these leads into customers. Our open and click rates have improved dramatically while our quantity of sending has also increased. Our open rates have improved by 30%, and our click rates have almost doubled. Moreover, we've improved our deliverability and reactivated existing users who had not purchased in a while.

I’m the email and content marketing manager at Galileo Learning. We’re an education company that offers summer camps, arts and science projects, and outdoor activities. Our service is for kids in pre-K–10th grade.

Their resources provide coding services and HTML templates that we customize as emails. On top of that, they execute our scheduling strategies and automate emails.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

In 2022, we’ve grown conversions and more than doubled our revenue through email marketing. Our team has sent twice as many emails as last year; open rates have increased by 14%, while unsubscribe rates have gone down. In other words, we’ve seen success in our email channels, and that’s a testament to Scalero’s work. 

Moreover, we’ve evolved the design and layout of the emails. We’ve received plenty of positive feedback for them from our internal team. I’ve also heard a couple of customers saying they like the new email format and designs. 

How did Scalero perform from a project management standpoint?

Scalero’s project management is great. We have a Slack channel with them, and they’ve been truly responsive. Their resources are great at managing short- and long-term projects, so our daily email executions are handled well. On top of that, they help us make progress on longer-term projects. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their HTML template builder has been a game-changer for me. I don’t have HTML experience and dislike drag-and-drop programs, so it’s been great to have the templates they’ve created for us. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Scalero has great ideas when we brainstorm, but I’d like them to have a better follow-through and make those ideas happen. I want those ideas to be out of the brainstorming phase and brought into the execution phase. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Don’t be afraid to engage Scalero. They’re great at editing HTML templates. Once these templates are created, they can be constrained — you can’t easily move modules around. However, don’t be afraid to ask Scalero to make the edits you want. They’re the experts, so ask them your questions. Let them do the work to make everyone’s lives easier.
