Phable is a dynamic agency, though currently of modest size, tasked with vast projects. To achieve our goals, we require comprehensive support from Scaled, encompassing both organismal concerns and sales initiatives.

The invaluable guidance and support from the team, especially Simon and Richard, has proven to be a game-changer. Their firsthand experience in successfully scaling a business has provided us with invaluable insights and navigated us through complex challenges with ease.

We've been working with Simon and the Scaled team for nearly 3 years and at every step of the way, they have helped us plan and execute our long-term vision, growth planning and advisory. This has included coaching, board advisory, strategy planning, financial consulting and just ongoing mentorship at an executive level.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our business has grew from £1.5m to £4m annual recurring revenue (ARR) while Scaled has been on-board and Simon working directly with us. That has also trickled down into us 2x our staff base and increasing our profits from 500k to £1mil earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA). Couldn't of achieved this without Simon and his team.

Our Agency was launched in May 2020. After experiencing fast growth in the first year and a half. We reached out to Scaled as we were looking for an expert partner to help us navigate the next stages of agency growth. As a young management team and newcomer in the digital space we quickly released having a partner who has already been through the process of scaling an Agency (The Highs and Lows) was extremely valuable and essential to scale at the rate we wanted too.

How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?

We reached out to multiple prospects. What set Scaled apart from the rest was Simon’s first hand experience of scaling and exiting a digital Agency. Another important factor was Simon's experience as a partner for an award winning pre seed fund in the technology space.

This gave us confidence in Simon and the Scaled team being on the bleeding edge of new and exciting businesses entering the space adding valuable insights which are shared with the senior management team, Finally, the passion the Scaled team showed really gave us confidence - You can tell they are passionate about start-ups/scale-ups and that passion is a massive part of why we partnered with Scaled.

As an agency start-up the first stages of our relationship centred around sessions to zoom in and nail our Agency’s Why, How and What.. After we had clarity on our market position we then built a GTM plan to launch. As our relationship has developed over the last year we have also worked with the Scaled team to build out and develop Board Book Process and wider governance piece.

Sales & Marketing plans Development Overhaul and Improvement of Sales/BD Department Support Sourcing and Implementing CRM and other Systems Recruitment support - Employer brand development to help us win and retain talented people Support in improving compliance & Contacts. Over the past year we have worked closely with both Simon - Founder and CEO and Richard - Partner.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

In the initial 12 months of working with Scale our Agency grew top-line revenue 252% YOY. Our operational efficiency was also massively improved adding another 15% to our Net profit margin.

Scaled quickly embedded into our Agency as the workflow between teams has been seamless.

In the early days, making it clear where somethign wasn't included in the monthly price. But we have sorted that with a conversation.
