We needed help growing our presence on the web.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped us with PPC work through Google Ads and Facebook. The advertising work extended to print design and video marketing as well. After implementing strategies on each of the channels, he tweaked them as we saw results through calls. For instance, if we were received a lot of junk calls, he could adjust our Google Ads keywords to align us more with qualified leads.

We worked directly with Von (Consultant).

How did you come to work with Sambuno?

I wasn’t involved in the selection process but know that our president met Von () at a marketing event. They started working together shortly afterward. 

How much have you invested with them?

In total, we spent about $130,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started the engagement in July 2015, and our collaboration is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

In just a few years, they made us look like a much larger company. We started with a few a few hundred thousand dollars in annual revenue, and they brought us up to over $2 million. The revenue jump was indicative of the quality and effectiveness of their work.  

How did Sambuno perform from a project management standpoint?

If there was an issue or problem with the work, we could contact him right away. There was never any phone tag because our communication is very direct. It doesn’t matter what time of day it is, he’s available right then and there. We communicated through text, email, and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their ability to constantly make themselves available to us was massively helpful. They’re very thoughtful and able to solve problems as well. We’ve haven’t had a single issue with our work styles. They’re professional and personable. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we haven’t had any problems with them.

Present your parameters upfront, and you won’t run into any problems. If there are any questions, they’ll be available to you.

What challenge were you trying to address with Sambuno Media?

They rebuilt our website for us to help us obtain better leads. That included design upgrades and SEO work as well.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had to scrap our first website, so they started from the ground up, developing and designing all of the features like informational brochures and a consultation scheduling tool.

They made sure that everything was optimized for SEO and targeted specific keywords that we wanted to show up on, and then they created a blog content area for us to continually add content to the site.

I work directly with the owner of the company.

I met the owner several years ago and had seen his work, so when we decided to take on the project, I knew I wanted to work with him.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started around a year ago and is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Before Sambuno Media got involved, we really weren’t getting any leads from the website, and since the new site launched, we’ve averaged at least a couple of leads per week through that. We have a lot of traffic beyond those leads as well, which never used to happen. We normally get close to 100 people on the website a day now.

How did Sambuno Media perform from a project management standpoint?

They met all of the deadlines that we laid out at the beginning of the project and were always communicative with us when we had questions or requests via text or email. I was very satisfied with the quality of their customer service.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I know nothing about tech, but I was able to give them a basic outline of what I wanted and leave it at that. They then took my ideas, improved on them, and then implemented them in a way that was easy for us to use on our side as well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t know that there is anything they need to improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It’s always good to have an idea of what you’re looking for but let them guide you in a direction that you may not have thought about. In the end, what I got was much better than what I had thought of originally because they really know what they’re doing and how to implement things.

We originally needed help with revamping our Magento website. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I hired them to service my Magento website, and after a while, it had to be completely redone, so I decided I wanted it to be revamped. They built a new customer-facing Shopify website from scratch. Customers can buy things off the website, and the order goes directly to us and we can ship it out. Currently, they're working on SEO related to the site as well. They use Google analytics and leverage blogging to improve our search rankings.

At first, I was using Magento and was trying to find someone who was skilled on that platform, which is how I found Sambuno Media.

We began working together in June 2019, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

When they initially worked on my Magento site, they charged me a reasonable price even though they had the opportunity to charge me a lot more. Their honesty was unbelievable.

In terms of their actual work, the old site was falling apart and nothing was working. They got everything up and running with the new site quickly. Our sales have been going through the roof since we've been working together. The website actually looks the same as it did before, but just functions so much quicker and cleaner now.

They were fantastic.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They're very personable. They know what they're doing, can look at your website, and accurately tell you what needs to be done on your site to make it more efficient or make more money.

No, nothing comes to mind.

My advice is to give Sambuno Media a shot, they're definitely worth the time and money.
